Easy going and fun atmosphere that's great for enjoying a brewery, games or group setting. Staff is friendly and quick. Menu selection has something for everyone, even vegetarians who are looking for a well rounded with protein rather than the traditional carb only options. The falafel sandwich is a hit; falafel balls are comparable to those I've had at authentic middle eastern spots. Open late and menu changes seasonally so always something new to try, Go for the Starwberry GinGin Mule for a hard drink or the non-alcoholic gin for a lighter option. Potato skins are a must try, truly my new favorite potato skins. Only thing that would be nice if they had adjusted the price if you're not getting a meat protein,

It gives local bar / distillery / restaurant vibes all-in-one. I arrived before the crowd, so it was pretty empty. I loved the natural lighting and exposed Infrastructure.

Was looking for a spot to have some food and beers for my birthday. We were in DC and opted to look for someplace new rather than my usual spots near home. Bluejacket was recommended by a friend of a friend and I have to say I'm glad we ended up there. The manager, Mike...awesome! Our server Carmen...awesome! They both made my birthday super special. I will definitely come back again.

Stopped in for a casual lunch and ordered the Crispy Buffalo Chicken Sandwich with a stout, and both hit the mark. The sandwich had the right balance of heat and crunch, and the portion felt generous for the price. The stout was smooth, well-rounded, and exactly what you want from a brewery that takes its beer seriously. The service was friendly and attentive without hovering, and the staff made the whole experience feel easy. The space has that lively, industrial-brewery energy -- plenty of buzz, but still comfortable enough to settle in for a drink and a good meal. Overall, a fun spot with solid food, great beer, and a price point that feels fair for the quality. Would definitely come back.

Super last minute because our last restaurant closed for the weekend, so we walked over here and no regrets!! Great social vibe for a birthday, especially since there were 14 of us. We ordered all on seperate tabs which made check out so much easier. Kudos to all our waiters for letting us bring our own birthday cake and cutting it for us!! Fried BUFFALOchicken sandwich with fries & coleslaw 8.5/10 super delicious but felt so heavy I had to take off bread. Strawberry gingin mule 10/10 gin & ginger, lime, + strawberry syrup SO GOOD. and tbh for me to rate a drink this high is not normal & clearly it was a fan fav bc why did the whole table get it too. Honorable mentions not pictured was the Mac & cheese(look so bomb), jumbo salted pretzel was a fan fav, & my friend was hyping up the bluejacket double burger !

Raise your hand if you agree bread pudding is the perfect fall dessert ‍ Was craving some potato tots and the crunchiest Brussels sprouts known to man so swung through @bluejacketdc and was not disappointed their crispy catfish sandwich hit the spot, and their garden and grain salad with salmon was so filling we made a couple meals out of it I'm a sucker for a seasonal dessert (and bread pudding has always been my favorite) and their cinnamon bread pudding was the perfect fall treat

Great food! They have an extensive beer and bourbon list. You should always try the tater tots.

My first time eating at Bluejacket and WoW. I ordered the Grilled Cheese & Tomato Basil Soup recommended by the amazing sweet loving hostess Jayla. She made me feel so welcome. Definitely coming back. The vibe was cute very open and spacious. I'm coming back with my boyfriend next time.

    $10 happy hour liters!

I feel like I robbed the place getting a $10 Stein during happy hour! Came by before a Saturday baseball game. It was easy to make a reservation (and change the reservation); we arrived and were seated early! I think I'd call this an upscale brewery. The indoor space is big and open but not so loud you can't hear the person across from you. They provided spare plates, paper and cloth napkins, and real glasses with ice and a bottle to refill at your leisure. ~$15 a liter + $17+ for a main is a bit steep for casual dining. We had the pretzel with beer cheese and the tots to start. The tater tots are more like mashed potatoes that have been cubed and deep fried -- and they are delicious. The pretzel wasn't my favorite (it was a bit dry and didn't seem as fresh) but the beer cheese was unique and flavorful. I also love that they give you plenty of sauces. A place that doesn't skimp on the sauces deserves extra stars!! I also had the crispy catfish sandwich with greens. The sandwich was maybe a bit too saucey (is that acceptable to say?!). The greens were pretty wilty and it got progressively sloppier which I didn't love. They've got a lil something on the menu for everyone. Happy hour was definitely the move!

The food was fab, beer was even better. I tried the runaway, lady bird, brand new vandals and the waves, the brand new vandals was my fav of those four, I also got a 4-pack of the lost weekend to go! Our server was wonderful, I luv this place, vibe was excellent, we will be back soon! Thx:)

We (twins) celebrated our birthday here, and were very impressed by the drink options. We had had a long day of drinking so we kept it light, and both enjoyed grilled cheese and tomato soup. Our server was kind and told us HAPPY BIRTHDAY, which was nice. Dining on the sidewalk was a little distracting with a cop's lights strobing us out and giving us headaches for half of the dinner, but so are the streets in DC.

Great indoor & outdoor spaces with a strong beer list and consistently the best chicken sandwich in the neighbourhood. The good: the indoor space is large but manages to be pretty cozy on the cooler months while the large patio has outdoor pet friendly space for the hotter months. The locations is a few blocks off the main path between the stadiums so it also gets less hectic than the places closer to half st. The food here has also consistently been among my best in the city for the bar style menus.

    Roasted Beet Salad

My first time at BlueJacket and I will be back. Firstly, our server Ash was amazing. Incredibly attentive and explained all the gluten free things on the menu. Friends: THEY HAVE A DEDICATED FRYER!!!! Tell your celiac friends! So naturally I tried the tots. They were magical. I got the bbq sauce and the herby mayo. I didn't like the sauces. But the tots were strong enough on their own. I got the beet salad and wasn't really feeling the beets. I love beets but didn't love them in this dish. The other components of the salad were great but I wouldn't recommend it. I also got the hot green tea which was good and simple. They have a great outdoor space with heaters for the chillier days.

Literally size for $15?! Yes please!

    Is brunch on Saturday?

    Don't Know

Do they serve lunch on Saturdays? Their website says lunch is Monday through Friday, and brunch is served on Sundays, so what can I get to eat on a Saturday afternoon?

Yes we serve our lunch menu from 11-430 on Saturdays.

Do they only serve bloody Mary's on weekends or can you order one on weekdays as well?

Seems like you can order any cocktail anytime.

    Is there anything healthy?

    Doubt it

I can't wait until baseball and soccer season start so that they hopefully get more business over here. I had both of their stouts and the higher alcohol one was marvelous. The bartender was very accurate in her description of how it coats your mouth and really sticks with you. The lower alcohol stout went down, really smooth and was easy to drink. If I had stayed longer, I probably would've got a flight to taste a few other ones. I really hope that they get food other than the burger place that's there because there's only three burgers and none of them are vegan or vegetarian. The burger place also does not have a large amount of side items for people to snack on and from what I gauge from the menu of Atlas, they don't appear to have any food items. For such a large dining room area I would expect there to be more options and since there aren't really a lot of restaurants in Anacostia, I really hope that they add food to the menu somehow. Otherwise you'll have to go across the bridge to get food if you don't want a non-vegetarian burger. From my time here in DC this will be their third location. I think it suits them better than the Ivy city location and I hope that people in Ward eight as well as people visiting the stadiums will stop past Atlas
