My husband is a whiskey drinker and I a vodka, and this place has huge selections of both and more! Their wine selection is also huge and even a refrigerated area for the seltzer's. The staff is nice and they're located on an easy corner with quick street parking. This is a one stop shop for all your drinking needs!

However, my nail salon is just a few businesses down, so I've dropped in once or twice for a mixer or a bottle of liquor if I'm entertaining. However, most recently I received some wine from here via Drizly delivery. I was actually pretty impressed by their wine selection, which I had never taken time to look at previously. I was able to buy a bottle of one of my favorites and also try a new wine that I had never seen before that I also really enjoyed. Thank you Drizly and Capitol Wine for keeping the wine flowing during this quarantine. With all of the virtual happy hours I've been going to, these bottles have really come in clutch (and the delivery time has been top notch!)

Thankfully, they largely (albeit not entirely) stray away from the ubiquitous kitsch usually found in Washington liquor stores. And the team truly know their trade. On their wines, they have a large Californian and French selection. Although they certainly do have their share of Italians and Argentinians, on the whole I would say it is less of their strong suit by comparison. Pricing is very good, keeping quality with affordability. I can easily go in and pick up a decent $18 bottle of wine or an amazing $45 bottle, depending upon their fare and occasion.
