Amazing service, great decor, fun vibe atmosphere, pretty good eats and great drinks! Take a Tour of the brewery and enjoy three flights! Thank you for your warm hospitality!!!

Part of the Neighborhood restaurant group empire, I am a fan of this place. What I have always appreciated about NRG is their focus on beer. A beverage most of DC completely neglects. At Bluejacket, they have put their money where they are known for pouring beer into the beer production process itself. Here is the thing, they make great beer and their food is well executed as well. In addition to great beer, their offerings were highly diverse, offering something for every palate. Being that I am currently appreciating lagers, I enjoyed their Gan Bei, their Common People and I especially liked their Briefly Gorgeous beer. Serving in all formats from samples to 1 liters, you can sample or consume until your heart is content. Pro tip, look out for their happy hour where the offer discounts on liters of beer! I really enjoyed the burger and fries the last time I was there. It was on point and paired perfectly with my helles. Service was good, and let us camp for about 3 hours while watching a game. I have and will be back, thanks for what you do, Bluejacket. One request - look into procuring a side pour system, I think your lagers would be exceptional in that serving style.

I came here with a friend and the food was pretty solid. The servings are big and the service is good.

We visited bluejacket without a reservation on a Saturday early afternoon and was able to be seated right away. The space is very large. There are booths, regular tables, bar seating, and also outdoor seating. Their beer selection is vast. They offer drink sizes in taster, regular, and liter (for certain beers). The taster portion was described to me as 3-4 ounces which is economically not worth it but may appeal to some. We tried the: - self-portrait: excellent crisp pilsner - Forbidden planet: great IPA! - Field of Diamonds: IPA with fruity start and a grassy finish? Interesting, initially didn't like it but I grew to really like it! - Warm wishes: sour ale with an emphasis on the sour. Not too sweet! - Tater tots: interestingly cubes! We got the cheese dip and it was SO GOOD I would definitely recommend and would love to return!

Loved it! First time eating here and it did not disappoint. It was a little worrisome in the beginning as we weren't served until at least 10 minutes after we sat down if not longer. However, we saw it through as I always wanted to try this place. Glad we held on as the food was great. Simple yet filling. I would definitely come back again. I had the fried chicken sandwich with the dry rub and it was delicious. I do kind of regret getting the fried chicken sandwich as I saw someone order the burger and that looked great. The ambiance itself is cool. Such a great use of space and the brewery equipment being highlighted throughout was a nice touch.

Easy going and fun atmosphere that's great for enjoying a brewery, games or group setting. Staff is friendly and quick. Menu selection has something for everyone, even vegetarians who are looking for a well rounded with protein rather than the traditional carb only options. The falafel sandwich is a hit; falafel balls are comparable to those I've had at authentic middle eastern spots. Open late and menu changes seasonally so always something new to try, Go for the Starwberry GinGin Mule for a hard drink or the non-alcoholic gin for a lighter option. Potato skins are a must try, truly my new favorite potato skins. Only thing that would be nice if they had adjusted the price if you're not getting a meat protein,

Stopped in for a casual lunch and ordered the Crispy Buffalo Chicken Sandwich with a stout, and both hit the mark. The sandwich had the right balance of heat and crunch, and the portion felt generous for the price. The stout was smooth, well-rounded, and exactly what you want from a brewery that takes its beer seriously. The service was friendly and attentive without hovering, and the staff made the whole experience feel easy. The space has that lively, industrial-brewery energy -- plenty of buzz, but still comfortable enough to settle in for a drink and a good meal. Overall, a fun spot with solid food, great beer, and a price point that feels fair for the quality. Would definitely come back.

Raise your hand if you agree bread pudding is the perfect fall dessert ‍ Was craving some potato tots and the crunchiest Brussels sprouts known to man so swung through @bluejacketdc and was not disappointed their crispy catfish sandwich hit the spot, and their garden and grain salad with salmon was so filling we made a couple meals out of it I'm a sucker for a seasonal dessert (and bread pudding has always been my favorite) and their cinnamon bread pudding was the perfect fall treat

Was looking for a spot to have some food and beers for my birthday. We were in DC and opted to look for someplace new rather than my usual spots near home. Bluejacket was recommended by a friend of a friend and I have to say I'm glad we ended up there. The manager, Mike...awesome! Our server Carmen...awesome! They both made my birthday super special. I will definitely come back again.

Super last minute because our last restaurant closed for the weekend, so we walked over here and no regrets!! Great social vibe for a birthday, especially since there were 14 of us. We ordered all on seperate tabs which made check out so much easier. Kudos to all our waiters for letting us bring our own birthday cake and cutting it for us!! Fried BUFFALOchicken sandwich with fries & coleslaw 8.5/10 super delicious but felt so heavy I had to take off bread. Strawberry gingin mule 10/10 gin & ginger, lime, + strawberry syrup SO GOOD. and tbh for me to rate a drink this high is not normal & clearly it was a fan fav bc why did the whole table get it too. Honorable mentions not pictured was the Mac & cheese(look so bomb), jumbo salted pretzel was a fan fav, & my friend was hyping up the bluejacket double burger !

My first time eating at Bluejacket and WoW. I ordered the Grilled Cheese & Tomato Basil Soup recommended by the amazing sweet loving hostess Jayla. She made me feel so welcome. Definitely coming back. The vibe was cute very open and spacious. I'm coming back with my boyfriend next time.

    $10 happy hour liters!

I feel like I robbed the place getting a $10 Stein during happy hour! Came by before a Saturday baseball game. It was easy to make a reservation (and change the reservation); we arrived and were seated early! I think I'd call this an upscale brewery. The indoor space is big and open but not so loud you can't hear the person across from you. They provided spare plates, paper and cloth napkins, and real glasses with ice and a bottle to refill at your leisure. ~$15 a liter + $17+ for a main is a bit steep for casual dining. We had the pretzel with beer cheese and the tots to start. The tater tots are more like mashed potatoes that have been cubed and deep fried -- and they are delicious. The pretzel wasn't my favorite (it was a bit dry and didn't seem as fresh) but the beer cheese was unique and flavorful. I also love that they give you plenty of sauces. A place that doesn't skimp on the sauces deserves extra stars!! I also had the crispy catfish sandwich with greens. The sandwich was maybe a bit too saucey (is that acceptable to say?!). The greens were pretty wilty and it got progressively sloppier which I didn't love. They've got a lil something on the menu for everyone. Happy hour was definitely the move!

    Biscuits and Gravy
    Beth K.

Matt was our server and he was super friendly and helpful. I got the biscuits and gravy which was delicious. I also got the NA Sierra Nevada to drink. My friend got the grilled cheese which was really substantive. He also got the flight with the El Honcho, For the Company, and Self Portrait, all delicious. The space was really light-filled. It was spacious inside.

    Is brunch on Saturday?

    Don't Know

Do they serve lunch on Saturdays? Their website says lunch is Monday through Friday, and brunch is served on Sundays, so what can I get to eat on a Saturday afternoon?

Yes we serve our lunch menu from 11-430 on Saturdays.

Do they only serve bloody Mary's on weekends or can you order one on weekdays as well?

Seems like you can order any cocktail anytime.

    Is there anything healthy?

    Doubt it

Its a pretty easy feat to achieve for the minds behind spots like Church Key and The Sovereign (and I'll get to those places later). But from showcasing a well-rounded list of around 1000 beers annually including some exclusive brews in 50 taps, to having equipment like a temperature controlled tap system, side-pull taps for lagers, and a cask engine system for ales and ciders, it shows that they have features that many non-food court beer bars could only dream of! With it being Snallygaster weekend I was on cloud nine sipping and savoring a satisfying preview of the breweries that I'd be enjoying over the weekend. But I also enjoyed some of their regular harder to find brews while conversing and geeking out about good beers with the bartender. Another standout plus to the bar being in a food court that's very tech savvy was the ability to order from any restaurant in the court while sitting at the bar! Toss in plenty of cocktails, whiskey pours, a well-rounded wine list, and non-alcoholic options, and this bar is a good spot for anyone to Shelter in place in. Especially during their happy hour and special events!

Glad we did - these were really good! And a good size, too. Service was quick and helpful as counter service only.

Luckily I work for a rad company now that creates fun team buildings so I got the chance to learn how to make beer and learn all about the science and chemistry that goes into making a great brew. Josh is extremely knowledgeable and was able to answer our questions thoroughly and to a degree that people who have zero knowledge on chemistry, baking, brewing, etc. will understand. We were able to sample different brews, learn about different styles and got to spend a day out in the sun. I consider that a win for a work day! I would gladly take this course again and would highly encourage anyone else interested in learning the basics or wants to have a fun team building, birthday party, etc to do this. You won't be disappointed! Oh and if you're wondering, the beer turned out great! :)

We did it as a team building event at work which was a perfect mix of fun, knowledge gain, and a great way to spend a Friday afternoon. The best part was we got to celebrate again a month later when the beer was complete! Everything was very professional from the quiz at the event to the labels on the beer. Great company, 10/10 recommend!
