I had a great experience there! I ordered an açaí bowl, and the worker, Nina, really loaded it up. I would highly recommend it!

Upon our initial seating we were set in at a table that had us way too close to those at the next table. It was a little uncomfortable to say that we were not together. We did ask to be moved and then sat a table in the middle of the dining room which was definitely better. My dining companion and I enjoyed our meals and were both pleasantly surprised about the quality and taste from a hotel restaurant. Our server was very kind and attentive. I would certainly dine here again. However, due to the size and layout of the dining room, I personally would want to visit on a day that was lower traffic.

Boozy, and balanced. Bartender went a little above and beyond helping me pick out an aperitif for dessert with an extra sample. For food, I tried: - Hamachi Crudo. Light, delicately flavored, bit of a kick! Very nice presentation. I would get this again. - Artichoke Frites. Fried with a lemon truffle dipping sauce. Good concept, could've been crispier! The heart pieces were the best, of course. - Steak Frites. This was good! Not necessarily extraordinary, but priced reasonably (for the area) as well. - Crème Brulee. Fabulous! Not tooo sweet. Location is not the most convenient for pulling La Serre into a regular rotation. They do have valet parking as an option. For anyone already staying at the hotel, this is a must try while there!

It's cozy yet elevated and perfect for a special event with friends. The staff is always welcoming and helpful. The food was phenomenal! Probably the best in Ann Arbor. We loved the pizza and the Apple Miso pancake. The coffee was great too. I will definitely be back

This Sunday, my mom invited myself and my siblings to join her for brunch. The ambience was amazing - with lovely natural lighting and gorgeous table settings. The menu makes every dish seem mouthwatering and delicious. When the plates came out, they were gorgeous and the food looked so inviting. Unfortunately, the taste was completely lacking. If you're going to charge the prices they're charging, the flavor should be amazing in every single bite. We sampled four different dishes, and none blew me away. Some, were even borderline "bad." Here's a rundown: mushroom pizza - the description makes it seem like it will be cheesy and full of flavor, but it was very one note duck confit pizza - had three pieces of duck on it and was otherwise covered in hot peppers lemon blueberry pancake - more of a skillet cake - sauce was the best part, otherwise dry on the bottom Raclette burger - $30 which is almost comparable in price to a burger I had at The Four Seasons in Maui. That burger, was worth every penny. This one had absolutely no flavor. The meat tasted like mush - definitely lacked seasoning, and there was not a speck of cheese to be found. If you're going to call a burger a raclette, it should be oozing with cheese. grilled Romaine salad - leaves were bitter and the dressing again, looked delicious, but had no flavor. The flavors did not compliment each other at all - with the pickled grapes, taking away from the dish and contrasting very starkly against the rotten tasting lettuce Brown sugar oat milk latte - really the only thing that delivered both on looks and on flavor. Sadly, not high on my list of places to return. It kind of made me think of Vegas: lots of pomp and glam which momentarily distracts you into thinking you're having the best time of your life. But in retrospect, not very fulfilling.
