Had Andres replace my patio last year. Initial work was good but slow and expensive - he convinced me to replace the retaining wall, saying he thought that was why my old pavers kept moving. Now I have settling problems; he showed up to look (after WEEKS of emails) and said he'd put me on the schedule for next week. Again no show and won't respond to email. Next stop is court. We hired Bluestone Landscaping, trusting Andres. The experience has been disastrous. A one-month project hasn't been completed yet, and we've been there for over five months. Andres asked us to pay his suppliers directly since he didn't have the cash. We did so in good faith, and he paid us back, leaving the project unfinished and of poor quality. It's a disgrace for other contractors who do their work and are serious. We're now working with lawyers to complain about the incompetence and lack of professionalism of Andres and his company. Don't hire him for any reason. I've seen other reviews indicating the same thing. We're not the only ones affected, but I hope no more come. read more

DO NOT HIRE!!! If I could give zero stars I would. I hired this company to put in sod, gravel in the side yard and build a fence in my back yard. The "work" they performed is horrible. Bottom line up front: If you value your relationship with your neighbors, not being subjected to civil liability, having a project completed in a timely manner, and having your project completed with the required permits hire a different business. My neighbor was getting work done on her yard and hired Blue Stone Landscaping. Unbeknownst to me, and my neighbor, Blue Stone would be accessing her yard from mine. I/she was only informed of this when multiple people were trespassing on my property on a Monday morning. When I called Mr. Villareal about the issue, he had no qualms about trespassing but assured me it would be fixed later that day. After several follow up emails regarding the damage to my property, I received a response on Saturday that Mr. Villareal did not believe my yard had been damaged and would not be fixing it on any timeline but his own. I was assured that the issue would be remedied at latest the previous Tuesday but if my experience is any indication of his adherence to timelines or the truth, I would find a different company. The markings he put down for his crew on my sprinkler heads were promptly ignored. I am unaware of what assurances he gave to my neighbor regarding permits, but he definitely did not have any after my I called the City. Even after constant admonishments regarding coming onto or further damaging my property Mr. Villareal continued to ignore these requests and I finally decided to let the police deal with it. In short, I never hired Mr. Villareal or Blue Stone Landscaping to do any work but instead of doing the right thing Mr. Villareal will find any way to cut corners. *Update* As indicated by Mr. Villareal's response, he did indeed trespass but will not actually address his role in the situation. The threats and harassment he describes are contacting the applicable governmental agencies after requests for remediation were ignored. This response is indicative of the level of professionalism you should expect dealing with this company. read more
