The process started in 2017 when we shopped companies to replace natural grass and we didn't proceed as the pricing was just amazingly high for a very small 460 square feet project. The turf project is now complete because DFW Turf Pro's owner Marc made it so easy. We talked with several other turf companies and were pleased with their product offerings and pricing. We met Marc at the Dallas Home Show where he helped make the decision so easy by answering all of our questions and without hesitating agreed to upgrade the turf at the same price of a middle grade turf. He truly helped us make the the informed decision to proceed. Within 4 days the installation crew (a family of 3 and a close personal friend) arrived as arranged, were incredibly organized, friendly and diligently worked through the hot North Texas August heat until completion that included a perfect cleanup. After comparing quotes, I decided to go with Magnolia based on the price for the quality of turf that I had installed. The other company was cheaper (by maybe $150, so not too much cheaper), but the competitor's turf just didn't feel the same and it would have been twice as expensive to get the same quality product that Magnolia offered! After accepting their quote, David booked me about four weeks out since they had other projects going on (it would have been a very bad sign if he said he could start tomorrow!). A week later, he called me to say that one of the big project was delayed so he was able to do my two-day project that week! In a hurry to get some grass in my backyard (more accurately, a mud pit) after my dog tore the St. Augustine to shreds, I immediately told him the new timeline would work. His crew arrive right on time the first day of the project and David was right there with them to make sure that everything started off as it should. Along the way, we ran into an issue with my plumbing system which had a crack in the pipe, but the crew was able to fit the issue and keep the project moving along on schedule. The installation crew could not have been kinder, more professional or have done a better job. My lawn looks absolutely amazing now and our dog like it more than my wife and I do! Thank you David and Magnolia for all of your hard work you put into our new beautiful lawn.
