Responded to my service requests very quickly. I really appreciated the fast turnaround.

Answers the phone by saying "Hello" had to confirm the business name twice, Polo hung up the phone and blocked my number. Then I called him on another phone and of course he answered right away and setup an appointment. He failed to show up to said appointment He got confused on we made the appoitment, we spoke in the morning, he seemed to think we spoke the day before. Updated the appointment for second time. Failed to show up. I told him I was pretty much done with him and that he could contact me on my other phone if he wanted to continue to communicate. Could not follow directions. He apologized for the scheduling, but polo its more than that. You are unprofessional, unorganized and disrespectful of my time. read more

He came out the same day. Fixed two large irrigation leaks and will be telling me how to fix a bigger issue I was having that other companies were wanting to charge me an arm and a leg for. Honest guy and does the job fast. Top quality work as well read more

Appreciated they came out to review my place they had good information but was unable to do the continued maintenance needed. They should probably update their area Map as I was inside the map at the edge, and they said I was to far away. read more

No permit pulled on new construction. Inept service, be careful. Cost me $1500 to fix their mistake.

Placido and his crew are excellent. Hard working. Respectful of property and do professional work.

When I called, Placido answered and told me to text him with my address and a description of what I needed done. I did so, and we arranged to meet at 1 pm on Sunday. He had told me he'd be available any time Sunday. Then he never showed up. THEN, he randomly called me during dinner time Sunday and said he could stop by at 8 pm. Um, what? No. You no-show our scheduled appointment time, offer zero apology or explanation, then interrupt our dinner and ask if you can show up in half an hour, ridiculously late in the evening? No thanks. Also, I note a lot of the positive reviews on Yelp mention how amazingly fast the team worked. This seems like a red flag, frankly. read more

I contacted Polo Landscapes to locate 2 valves in my yard that I couldn't find. When he showed up he wanted $45 to rent the equipment to locate the valves. Him and another guy dug a couple holes in my yard and then gave up. Made an excuse that he could come back in a couple of weeks? Obviously, I won't use this Company again. read more

I contacted Polo Landscape to fix the sprinkler system. He started the job, but unfortunately, he never completed it. The whole experience was very upsetting. A few key points: 1. He didn't show up on time and he ended up rescheduling our appointments several times. 2. He was not committed during the process and always left the job at 50% completion. 3. He always made excuses that he needed more time to finish the job but still required payment for his work, even though things were not working at all. 4. Soon after getting paid, he was challenging to contact, and he needed to be more responsive. Overall, it was an abysmal communication issue during the whole process. I would not hire this person again! read more

I am a retired businessman, and I've found that most of these landscaping companies are not very professional from a business standpoint. I like to set appointments for jobs to be done at my house. I want to use a reliable, established company, and will pay for that. Polo's website looked very good, but the man from Polo came out two hours later than expected. Next, I received no quote from him on the following day as expected. He said he gave me a verbal quote for part of it; which he did, but I need a written quote for the entire job. This job was thousands of dollars and I need it in writing so there is no misunderstanding about what to be done. read more

No showed several appointments, rescheduled appointments, wanted to come over last minute so late at night that it was dark.

Worst service ever. The rep was supposed to meet us at 11 am and he did not leave his house until we called him . Showed up 40 min late! There was no input from the guy in regards to the design or plants. He basically asked us what all we want including the design and the plants and gave us a big expensive quote for a yard that's barely 100 - 130 sq ft. Unprofessional in terms of messages, (we are not friends! Don't be messaging like a teenager) unprofessional in terms of punctuality! Stay away! read more

Responded quickly and on time. He fixed my broken sprinkler pipe on a Sunday. I will definitely use them again.

We looked at yelp and saw good reviews and decided to start with a quote. Polo Landscaping proved to be very unreliable. Failed to show for the 10 AM appt and then said he would come at 2:40, but did not show for that either. read more

Rushed job! The task was to remove ALL old rocks, level the area and lay the grass in my backyard. The grass looks uneven (not leveled), and I opened up a spot to find a lot of rocks underneath. The price was very reasonable but should of known something was wrong when it was all completed with a few hours. Also he could never keep the appointment agreed upon. I tried to give him a chance to fix it going on 2 weeks now before writing this but every time he said he would come, he would be no show up. read more

Polo Landscapes - Landscaping Near Me

I used Polo Landscape for 4 years primarily for lawn maintenance at my Airbnb property (which is now sold). I live out of state but could always see from the cameras that it was done regularly, was tidy, and overall in good shape. When it needed to be resown or fertilized he'd text me with photos asked for permission. Unlike some other reviews, Placido (the owner) always responded quickly to my texts. I also used his arborist services to remove an enormous tree after a tornado, regularly trim trees, build a stepping stone pathway, and to weed and replace the bark in garden beds regularly. He would organize the tree removal and trimming to coincide with regular City for quick collection. When Placido noticed things on the property that needed attention he would send me photos (not always landscaping related) which I really appreciated because I was not there to see things for myself regularly. The prices are VERY reasonable, especially for lawn maintenance. read more

Placido did a fantastic job getting my yard and garden beds ready to sell my house. On time, prompt, cleanly, and walked me around to make sure his crew had done everything that we'd asked. He charged a fair price - and I had priced with other companies first. I'd definitely recommend his services! read more

Great work laying our new backyard sod

I originally hired them to repair a leak, upon finding the leak it was discover the line was tightly wrapped in Tree roots. Also the main valve was extremely hard to shut off. I scheduled them to come back and replace main valve and relocate sprinkler line farther from the tree. This was completed in a timely manner. In checking out the system we discovered several heads not spraying properly and one leaking badly. All were fixed. Also discover another valve that had a cracked body also fixed. They did a very through job of inspecting and repairing the system. This was the first major set of repairs in 27 years. I felt I got a good job for the $$ spent. read more

I found my lawn guy broke a sprinkler riser and I needed it fixed quickly, due to the heat and being unable to water part of my backyard. I put out a request on Yelp and Polo Landscapes responded quickly. Placido said he could come the same day to fix it. He arrived at 6:15pm and went right to work. I thought he would just replace the riser, but he suggested putting in a large pop-up head, so I wouldn't have to deal with the issue of a riser getting broken again. I appreciated his thoughtful suggestion. I also had him straighten up a crooked sprinkler in the lawn. He was quick and efficient, and charged a fair price. I will definitely be using Placido again. read more
