Yay! The have both standard staple dishes as well as feature a menu page of higher-end dishes m with pictures. Those items run on the pricier side, but based on the quality and portion sizes of the everyday stuff, they are likely worth it for a bigger family meal or special dinner. It is a great neighborhood spot for satisfying, hearty Chinese food whether you want basic comfort dishes or something a little more upscale. And the service was really good as well!

Every dish came out hot, fresh, and made to order within just five minutes of placing our order. The Mongolian beef and honey walnut shrimp were especially flavorful and perfectly seasoned. Later on this unprofessional amateur gave me a dissaproving look. Since when did service become a dumpster fire?? Did he buy this place? Definitely taking ownership in a twisted manner. Our guests loved how flavorful and fresh everything tasted. It was such a nice change from the usual greasy Chinese takeout--everything felt fresh, wholesome, and delicious. I was especially impressed that even the kids were happily eating the food! Several guests asked where we had ordered from, which says a lot. We were so happy with the food and service, and we'll definitely be ordering from here again for future parties and events. Highly recommend!

I was craving Korean Chinese food and decided to try Tsing Tao in Los Gatos…read more The restaurant inside is very basic nothing fancy. It was a warm day and the AC wasn't on, so it felt a bit stuffy inside. We ordered spicy noodle soup (jjamppong), black bean noodles (jjajangmyeon), and sweet and sour pork. Everything was decent, but not very flavorful. Nothing stood out. I might go try for the weekday lunch special, but for dinner I'd try somewhere else. It's not bad, just nothing special. That's all I can say.

The owners usually serve us, and they are always very friendly and helpful. The restaurant is very clean and fresh in appearance with appropriate artwork. The food is delicious. Today we learned that three talented chefs have joined them from the previous establishment. It shows. The food is great. Well balanced-- nothing was overcooked or undercooked, and the seasoning was appropriate for each dish. We have tried a variety of dishes and recently have settled on ordering the Dinner for 2-3 people in our last two visits. If we don't want Mongolian Beef or Orange Chicken, we just substitute something else. Generous portion sizes and we bring food home for my son's lunch the next day! Today's won ton soup was really good. Bok choi and other veggies were ingredients included. There truly is a big tank of Big Fish in the restaurant, too!

First…read morelittle surprise: apparently the offer is dine-in only, which the coupon neglected to mention. We ordered takeout, so no free appetizer for us. Okay, fine. I love Chinese food, this place is close to our house, and I was still excited to try it. Unfortunately, the appetizer may have been the lucky one because it escaped this meal. We ordered the beef with black pepper and honey sauce. It smelled good, so even though it wasn't exactly winning any beauty contests, I had hope. That hope lasted until the first bite. The sauce was incredibly bland, and the chunks of beef were chewy, spongy, and just... weird. I'm still not entirely sure what texture they were going for, but "beef" was not the texture that came to mind. Then there was the barbecue pork fried rice. Calling this "fried rice" is being extremely generous. It was basically dry steamed rice with peas, carrots, and tiny hard pieces of barbecue pork sprinkled throughout. I even tried adding soy sauce to save it. The soy sauce did its best. It fought bravely. It lost. I really wanted to like this place because it's so close to home and I'm always happy to find a good Chinese restaurant nearby. Sadly, this one was a miss from beginning to end. We will not be back. Final food review: Blech.

It is on the Blossom Hill side. The restaurant has about ten tables and does a brisk take out business. The server was friendly and attentive. The seafood clay pot had generous portions of scallops, shrimp, squid, fried tofu and vegetables in an oyster sauce. Plenty to share with some left over. The fried rice was light and tasty and the crab puffs were perfect. We now have a new go to Chinese restaurant when we are in South San Jose.

Had a great experience prior to this with a friend so I wanted to bring my mom to try. My experience from the service however was a little uncomfortable. When I went with my mom there was no customers. The server seated us at the bench closest to the wall (the table was pushed into the bench against the wall so we had to move it.) Apparently a lot of the legs on some of the tables and benches are wobbly so they put things under to balance it. The servers told us to move it back under the table since we pushed the table out to sit into the bench. My mom is older and she has a hard time walking, she asked to switch to another table where the benches and tables were already spaced out properly because it is hard for her to bend down and move the things under the table legs. The server gave my mom an attitude and asked why two people couldn't fit into our current table.
