My favorite Chinese food place for the last 30 years! I have never had any dishes that I do not like. Everything is wonderful and the service is always top notch! read more

First, the service is always freindly and welcoming as you step through their door, Second, the food quality is amazingly consistsnt, a real Campbell treasure, such a pleasure to dine here read more

I DoorDash a lot from this place. We recommend the salt and pepper fish fillet, any of the beef dishes (tangerine beef is the family favorite - a little fried but still very flavorful), and the West Lake beef soup. The soup is really well done and better than some other places. I find their prices are more reasonable too. read more

So this is a very memorable restaurant for me it's been in the same place for 50+ years I've been out of the area for 30 years and came back to the area 4 years ago this place is still delicious with great service just like I remember ! read more

I gave this place a four star review and posted an image but looks like yelp pulled it for saying content is not an experience at the restaurant? Yes, because it was ordered take out and eaten at home. Not sure why this is being flagged but going to post again: Flagged Content: Standard Chinese take out. The special fried rice was good not salty at all and the broccoli with mushrooms was good although I didn't like that there was a ton of the broth in the to go container. I'd return to try other dishes. Very quick service as I called in the order then drove ten minutes to get it and it was already done! read more

I didn't want to write a review from the first visit, but now after three visits, it's time. The first visit we went for dinner and we ordered the combination of five items for two people. The appetizers with the soup were hot and fresh but the next two main dishes were old and probably re-heated from the freezer. The owner came from our table (no eye contact) and very fast said "everything is good right?" and he disappeared without any desire to listen our opinion.     The second visit we went early and we ordered the lunch special. The quantity of the food was big but soon we realized that nothing was fresh, it was at least from the previous night. That means they prepare specific dishes in advance and if they don't sell them they serve them the next day.  The third time we went for dinner and we ordered appetizers and scallops with vegetables. Again the appetizers  were fresh and tasty and the main dish with scallops $28.00 was a few days old and the scallops were dark brown, again re-heated from the freezer.  When the waitress came from our table (always with mask) asked us, if we enjoyed the food. I told her that the scallops were horrible and she shrugged and left.   In my way out, I said to the owner behind the counter that I thought the scallops had a white color, and he said that the sauce made them brown.   Recently I found out that Santa Clara Country had temporarily closed down the restaurant due to unacceptable food safety practices! Besides the overpriced horrible food, you realize that this place is a dump from the 70's and the customers look like homeless and to top it off, they act like they don't care if you come back or not. Let's see how long it's gonna last this place. I give them two stars because for the appetizers, otherwise it would be zero. If you want to avoid similar experience please choose some other place. For me, it's never again. read more

My partner had been saying that this place is really good, and she wasn't wrong! It was my first time ever setting foot in this place, and oh my god, the decor and vibe in this restaurant is amazing. For the food, I wanted to get rice plates from the menu but they only serve those for lunch so I tried to keep it simple and light tonight. My partner ordered the pot stickers which were pretty big! I had ordered egg rolls, and the Blue Sky fried rice. The portion sizing for the egg rolls was a little small, the fried rice portion was pretty big. I really enjoyed everything but my favorite thing was definitely the fried rice. It was like eating comfort food, it made me think of all the family parties I used to go to growing up and eating fried rice that was very similar to this. The service here was pretty great too and I like how neat and tidy this place is. If my partner ever asks me if I want to go to Blue Sky again, my answer to her would be a definite yes! I love this place and I'm looking forward to dining here again. read more

We've been coming here for a few years now. The food is always delicious, I like to try new things every couple of months and I haven't been disappointed yet. So far I've had the Mongolian beef, chili chicken, kung pao chicken, salt and pepper chicken, veggie chow mein, veggie fried rice, salt and pepper tofu and all of them have been amazing. Don't be scared to try anything on their menu. We usually take our food to go, but we have eaten here a few times. The experience is always nice when we dine in person. It's usually not too crowded unless you go on the weekend, so you get really good and quick service when you dine in. read more

I have always gotten the wonton combination soup to go. That's pretty much what I get here I love it. It has a variety of meat and lots of wontons and so good. Been comming here for over 12 years The lady at the Front Really Sweet and Nice takes your order always smiling. The fishes seem to get bigger and bigger that they have by the register. Counter, you have the option of taking to go or you can dine in up to you they do have a seating area read more

This was the first time I had Tangerine Chicken and it was SO SO good!! You do select a spice and the extra spicy is not spicy at all. That was the only disappointment though. I would still 10/10 eat over and over again. 4 stars only because the lack of spice but would give a 5 star if it was spicier! read more

Been eating here for 40 years! The food is great (recommend the chicken salad, pork buns and the hot and sour soup is the best I've EVER had!) prices are a bit high but the portions are big family style. The service is nice and fast! Get there early it gets busy but they are pretty fast turn around. read more

Great food - highest quality. All vegetables are extremely fresh and their dishes are prepared with quality ingredients.

My friends invited me here tonight for a holiday dinner. It was 4 of us and we ordered 5-6 different plates to share. Everything was great. The staff were friendly and efficient. Will go back. read more

Been coming here for years. I always loved the bullet resistant brickwork over the windows and that 70's dinner vibe, I feel like Pauly and Tony are going to be in the corner planning a job...The service? like a 70's dinner you need a little thicker skin than the average bear. They are nice, but blunt, language barriers and cultural miscues I think. I ignore the bad, and they do get better every year. The food? best American-Chinese food going, feels like when i was a kid in the 70's. all your favorites with good portions and good flavor. My go to place for sure. GenX approved read more

Food was burnt and sweet and sour pork tasted raw and cold burnt chicken fried rice service was rude restaurant is dark

Food is always good. For 8 people it cost us about $180-. The staff is always consistent and ready to help. It's our go to for Chinese food.

Our go to Chinese place. It's far from us but still remains our favorite. I prefer takeout from this place. Service is good (depends on who you get). Ambiance is basic. Our favorites are: Chicken Corn Soup: to all my Indian people, it's very close to the chicken corn soup we get in India. Basil chicken: my husband loves it Vegetarian chop suey: it's only bean sprouts and celery but super delicious Sauted bok choy- very nice. Tip: ask to make vegetarian dishes Vegan to avoid chicken powder (their version of some flavor powder) read more

If I could give zero stars I would. Food was absolutely disgusting- greasy and overpriced. Tasted like the food was sitting there all day. I actually put it in the garbage can...$80 later. Won't be going back! read more

Grew up going to Blue Sky- their service and food was great for years. We returned recently and what a difference. Service was lacking and all I came for was the sizzling rice soup. Come to find out, it was nearly $20! There have clearly been some poor management changes. We went out of our way to eat there, so the price wasn't going to stop me. (It definitely should've) I finally ordered, but there was a fly in the soup. I showed my husband just to be sure and he said it was definitely a bug. I called over the server, they brought be a new bowl and said the black speck was "from the wok"... then why did it have wings? While seated, I looked at the online reviews and found that other people found bugs in their food as well. We got the check and was charged the full price for the soup. Safe to say, we won't be returning. read more

Good Chinese food in homey atmosphere. These guys have been around a long time for a good reason. Very consistent quality.

I hadn't been to Blue Sky for a long time and was happy to see that the atmosphere had not changed and I totally enjoyed my dinner.

I ordered food from DoorDash and this place rated about a 3.5 that I rolled up to 4. The portions of main dish items in their combination meals are generous. The quality of the food was a mixed bag. My meal came with sweet & sour pork, pork fried rice, cashew chicken, and honey walnut prawns. The sweet & sour pork was rather fatty, which is why I much prefer sweet & sour chicken. The almond chicken had a nice, mild flavor. The honey walnut prawns was the biggest disappointment; they tasted a bit odd, and had a hard, crunchy exterior. It came with a small portion of wonton soup, which tasted fine. My husband's meal came with almond chicken, sweet/sour pork, & pork fried rice. He agreed with me that the food was okay, but we've had better. I also ordered mixed vegetable saute, which was good. read more

*First time review, DoorDashed* My boyfriend and I wanted Chinese food for a lazy Monday evening. We got a side of jasmine rice and one entree-- the Mongolian beef. Jasmine rice: fluffy, small box but actually was so much rice! Over 2 cups once unboxed Mongolian beef: we ordered it mild as my bf can't handle much spice (I added my own spice when I got my plate). Luckily it was perfect for him! Wasn't spicy at all. The beef was so good! Wasn't weird or chewy like some Chinese places I've been to before. Good flavor, loved the green onions and sauce. Definitely would order again. Hot and sour soup: it was ok. I definitely think the Mongolian beef carried the whole meal. As a heads up, it does include pork. I wish they would have included that. Still yummy! We ate before I got a picture! I'll definitely be ordering again and will snap a photo. read more

This place is very good. I've been coming here for a several years now and the food is always consistent and they have great hours. This place does get pricey when you order a few items. However, their food is very flavorful and I would highly recommend giving this place a try. My order cost me over $200. The service is always good! read more

Been going here for a very long time, back when they had the Canton Dinner menu. Anyway, my favorites are the light and crispy eggrolls... oh and the mustard is so amazingly spicy with wasabi, a family favorite. The Sweet & Sour Pork is lightly breaded with that thick sweet red sauce. The Almond Chicken has a light sauce with all the crunch cubed veggies and almond slivers. And my absolute favorite, the Chinese Chicken Salad. I can never get enough of the flavors. We always get fast and efficient service after being welcomed warmly when we come thru the door. This place has hardly changed inside from decades ago and we love it! In a world of constant uncertainty, it's so nice to experience a restaurant that has consistency and feels like a warm friend. read more

Waited 14 years for disappointment. We passed by this restaurant for years and never tried it. We moved away and came back for a visit and decided to try and was disappointed. I think it all began with the seating we didn't like being in between a few family's and asked if we could sit at a booth and was told that is too small I said we would be fine and we were. Then came the food as long as I have been going to actual restaurants and not fast food when you order family meals you get a plate of chow mein,, fried rice, etc. but we all got one plate with all items and very small portions. We didn't care for most of it dry and tasteless and spent over $100 and left hungry. They have been there for years but not sure how. read more

My family and I have been coming here for years. It's one of the best Chinese food spots in the bay! Clean and delicious food. You definitely get your moneys worth here the portions are very generous. Very friendly service all the time. Our favorite Chinese restaurant in Campbell! The Honey Walnut Shrimp and Sweet and Sour Pork are our favorites! Thank you!

Ordered the vegetable fried rice and potstickers. Both items were so fresh, tasted like it was cooked to order. The restaurant itself was clean and well decorated. It's a cute atmosphere to come for a date :) As for the food, it was something about the potstickers that made me fall in love. The flavor of the filling combined with the crispy texture of the thick exterior was perfection. And the tangy sauce they give for dipping them brought everything together, I even poured some on my rice because it was THAT good. My friend, who I should mention is extremely picky, really liked her wonton noodle soup. I can't wait to come back to try their lunch special! read more

We doordashed and the food arrived still hot and delicious. It was my first time ordering and I can't believe how good it was. I'll definitely keep ordering more from here. - Walnut Prawns 5/5 - Blue Sky Fried Rice 5/5 - Szechuan Style Chicken 4/5 (wasn't very spicy) Can't wait to try the rest of their menu read more

The 3 stars is for the lack of even attempting to keep customers safe from this pandemic. I ordered for pick up and upon arrival the parking lot was packed. I walked up to the doors and there were 6 people in the little lobby area waiting for their orders. Someone opened the door and the lady at the register said everybody come inside it's cold out. To which I replied "it's covid out"?! Once it emptied out with only one or two people left I went inside to pick up my order several more people came in behind me and literally there was no social distancing going on. Zero! This is not ok. I got my order and hightailed it outta there! The food was good but not worth getting covid over. read more

When I lived in the area this was my go to Chinese food spot. Now whenever I am in town and craving Chinese I'll order from here. I've never had bad food here before. 3.5 star rule for Chinese food works for this place. We order the beef and bok choy a lot. Can't wait to taste more.

Ordered the pan fried scallops. It was close to feeling fleeced. It was more like batter fried with small chunks of scallops and some of the fritters were pure batter and when the realization sets in I get a mouthful of white fish (not scallop). Yes I took it out of my mouth and examined the texture; pretty sneaky. So I felt quite fleeced with having to pay for batter and white fish instead of pan fried scallops. For customers who like this place stick to what you get and don't explore; you'll be disappointed. read more

Went here after a coworker recommended. We went on 4th of July evening so it was pretty chill. The one thing that stood out was their SERVICE! The lady who served us was by far so friendly, attentive, and polite. Definitely added positive vibes to our dinner outing. As USUAL, I ordered too much food. 1. Sizzling Beef (3 out of 5) 2. Garlic Eggplant (2 out of 5) 3. Salt & Pepper Porkchops (2 out of 5) 4. Tangerine Chicken (5 out of 5) 5. Combination Chowfun (4 out of 5) 6. White rice (1 out of 5) way too dry~ Every entree wasn't it's best but I did manage to find the tangerine chicken & chowfun better than average! Thanks, to the service though... regardless some dishes were sub par, I will be back to try other things soon. I'll be sure to take photos next time for ref! read more
