Good, high-quality work. Crew was on time, efficient, and cleaned up. However, I received a quote for $1500 initially. I said too expensive because I had quote for less. They lowered price to $1250. While work was being done they changed price back to $1500, saying that there was additional parts required, even though I provided photo and video for quote prior. After requesting quotes on Yelp for gutter installation, I stumbled across Blue Ribbon construction. I received a response from the owner Jonathan. He gave me recommendations for a 26 gauge material at a good price. My roofers ended up taking off the old gutters and water spouts and hauled it away for me. Jonathan was nice to adjust his quote down for me since I mentioned it'll be less labor. He's really easy to talk to and to work with. I had decided to add in the cheaper of the two gutter guards his business offers. I did not have a chance to go on the roof to take photos but uploaded a photo of the black guards from his other project. It looks good and blends well with my cool black roof shingles! Also, I have a high attention to detail and noticed little black marks across some parts of gutters. I showed concerns and he reassured me it's not scraped and just dirt. We replaced our old corrugated filthy gutters with all steel (already pre painted in black) gutters and downspouts. Jonathan showed me how they make the gutters "on-site" which surprised me. Jonathan replaced our downspout with a copper downspout over the summer. We have lived with it for awhile and now it has withstood the ultimate test of two major multiple day torrential rains. The downspout is holding up really well. Jonathan was very knowledgeable about how to design the drop to make adjustments that will make the whole thing last longer. Jonathan was 1st to call me back, show up for an estimate and return the estimate ASAP. He was a good communicator, organized and delivered above and beyond what he promised. His pricing was extremely competitive as well. No brainer, HIRE HIM! He did what he said, when he said he would and how he said he would do it. Most of the job was pretty strait forward and that all went without a hitch. However, we had him install a 25-30ft section of new gutters along an edge that had beams and a very oddly pitched roof line that needed to feed into another gutter line with proper sloping to avoid another downspout.... It was a very tricky task and we had to work together to come to a creative solution to make it work, but he did it! Rain season will truly put the actual water flow to the test, but I am sure it will all be great and if any issues he said he would come back and fix it all. He spent several extra hours on this... trimmed back the beams, sealed them and after installing the gutter once he redid the whole section again because it didn't look perfect (no extra charge to me, not even for double the materials used), worked very hard/late and came back next day with a new part b/c he didn't like using smaller bits to hide the pitch in the roof-line. To top that all off I mentioned we had some overflow on a totally different project and he fixed it by adding a flange to one section which he thinks will fix the issue to help divert water more evenly. He's very young in his 20's I'd say... showed up to the estimate with wife and baby... hardworking family man started this business on his own after working for and learning from his stepdad for many years... I was a tad worried as he had no Yelp reviews (that will change today!), but he answered MANY of my questions and sent me lot's of pics of his other jobs as I requested to put me at ease... He even upped his std 2yr guarantee to 5yrs to make sure I was comfortable with the work. We are so pleased we picked him!!
