Army Painting painted our kitchen cabinets back in April, and we're still extremely happy with the result. Jose and his team were professional, communicative, and paid great attention to detail throughout the project. The finish came out beautiful, and our cabinets look like new. Their pricing was fair and competitive, and the quality of the work exceeded our expectations. The work was completed on time, the area was kept clean, and the entire process was smooth from start to finish. We're very happy we chose Army Painting for the project, and wouldn't hesitate to work with Jose and his team again. read more

Friendly, knowledgeable and professional. Had a kitchen remodel, gutted and all, and some of the tiles removed from around my fireplace tore some of the drywall. I hired them to do just paint but not only did they patch up those holes, they also made my fireplace look new and refreshed. The paint job in my kitchen, family room, laundry room and 3rd bathroom was exactly what I hoped for. They gave me a different white on my door and window sills at first but came back and corrected it without issues. I'd definitely recommend Army Painting & will use them again! read more

Contracting this company to re-paint sections of our house. They were very professional and their rates were great. We agreed on the front walls of our house since the UV has faded the color over the last few years. As they were doing the work, my wife and I were impressed by their quality so we added more work to our house: trimmings around the windows and the inside wall of our front yard fence. Their employees were prompt and worked silently throughout the entire time; I didn't even hear them working outside the entire time. Other people we've contracted on house projects in the past did not always show up on time nor finished on time. Some of them were also unprofessional when they were here: loud music, spoke loudly, bad language, etc.. Not these guys. They were very professional and polite. Asked us for everything they needed before doing it: outlet access, moving things from the home out of the way before they worked, etc.. I highly recommend you contacting/contracting this company for your painting needs. It was a pleasure working with them from start to finish. House renovations have been stressful in the past but not with these guys - it was very smooth and enjoyable. Both their work and the experience with their staff have surpassed expectations. My wife and I are not going to hesitate calling them up for future work nor will we hesitate dropping their name to friends and family that need paint work. read more

We hired Army Painting to repaint our house exterior, as well as re-stain the fence, and the front and back decks. We can honestly say that they exceeded our expectations and we are extremely satisfied with the results. The whole crew has been a pleasure to work with, they pay great attention to every detail. And the price was right. read more

We had a great experience working with Army. We needed a 200sf room painted on short notice, with almost all of the job scoping done via text - something very difficult IMO in this line of work. Jose was prompt, professional and offered a fair price. The room came out great. We will for sure call Army for future painting! read more

Needed partial paint of building's exterior. Responsive, communicated well, good price quote. Original paint by the builder was bleeding down other areas, Jose explained why and what he would do to prevent re-occurrence. Crew came late morning and completed the job the same day as promised. The paint job was excellent. One point of improvement is to communicate more to confirm the appt the day before and when on the way in the morning. Other than that, I am happy with the whole process and the result. read more

Called Jose from Army's painting for estimate and he arrived promptly and gave me a good price. When it came time to paint, his father and daughter came and did an excellent job on our bathroom/bedroom paint. The picture does not show just how good their work is. Very nice and professional. Highly recommend. read more

Great experience with Army Painting for an exterior paint job. They were extremely helpful throughout the whole process. The team dropped off paint swatches, allowed us to sample different color combinations, and also provided guidance and thoughtful opinions. The whole process took less than a week and the team was extremely thorough with their process. Would recommend Army for any painting needs! read more

On a Sunday, I needed to find someone who could repair and paint a wall the following day. Army Painting had good reviews, so I sent them a message on Sunday afternoon, not sure if I'd get a response. I was very happy to get a response very quickly on Sunday, and after I explained my need to get the job done on Monday, Army Painting told me that they could have someone out the next morning. I was concerned about what the cost might be because it was a last minute job, but the quote I received was very reasonable. The next morning, a Painter from the Army Painting crew arrived at my home, and repaired and painted the wall that day. It turned out looking great, and I was very appreciative that Army Painting was able to accommodate my last minute request at a reasonable rate, and also did an excellent job. read more

Army painted the interior and exterior of our home with expertise and precision. Professional, friendly, and flexible, everyone on the team was approachable and willing to work with and around other contractors. Each interaction was a delight, and the end result was exceptional. We requested various colors of trim, accent walls, doors, and even ceilings in some rooms for the interior, and they taped and draped everything with immaculate preparation. For the exterior, they power-washed and patched, and paid attention to the details. They were fast, delivered high quality, and the price was right, too! Highly recommended. Fantastic experience! read more

I saw Army Painting work on my neighbors' house and liked the way they prepped--covered everything. So I asked them to come by to give me an estimate. I decided to go with Army Painting because Jose explained the process really well and had a reasonable bid. They have a three year warranty on their work. And Kellymoor has a lifetime warranty on their paint. They did a fantastic job sanding down the wood siding and filling in the cracks. You can't even tell how it looked before. They are family owned and operated! And have decades of combined experience. And it shows! read more

Great painting job before an open house. We requested white over white, so you can't really see the fine details in my photos, but it looked immensely better. Army Painting was able to come on short notice, which I appreciated. read more

It was quite an experience. The response times and communication were great on Yelp. Things quickly declined after that. Carlos, the painter who actually lead the work, did an excellent job. He does not speak English and uses a coworker to translate. There is a lot to be desired in this respect. For example, we set a time for 2pm to begin the work. The crew showed up at 3:30pm without any heads up. My expectations for how the job would progress did not match what happened. Finally, on the second and final day of work, we had scheduled a 6pm start time. Unexpectedly and again without any heads up, Carlos and his coworker arrived at 4pm. Luckily, I had gotten home a bit early that day from work but had jumped in the shower. read more

Jose came to the house to gather info to provide an estimate for an interior painting project. It's been a week and I have not heard back. No communication whatsoever. Even after I left a couple of voicemal messages and texts reminding him. Didn't even have the courtesy to respond if he needs more time to put the estimate together or let me know if they want the job. I think my project is beyond their capabilities but they didn't have the decency to let me know. Absolutely unprofessional, Imagine the delays when/if they are under contract. read more

After having quotes from three different painters, we decided to hire Army Painting. They had the best price and made sure that every wall got coated twice. Jose and his crew let us know what time they would arrive the morning of and followed up via email the next day as well (was a two-day job). As for quality of work, the lines look great, no globs on the wall, and they did a great job cleaning everything up afterwards. There were only a few drips of paint on the carpet, but nothing too serious. After the job was done, they checked every wall and frame for any errors and made sure they were fixed. The crew was very friendly and personable. I would recommend Army Painting to anyone, we're very pleased with their work. read more

Army Painting did an excellent job painting the inside of my house! I worked with Jose, one of the sons. He was professional and clearly knew his profession! At first I didn't understand why he did not take notes like all the others I interviewed. I asked and he said he knew what needed to be done. He recited everything at the end and he was on target. Army Painting stood out even in this initial interview. They also charge a fair price and leave the place spic and span. The place looks amazing. Throughout the work, it was easy to stay in touch with Jose who knew exactly what was happening at any time. I find this to be a rare scenario when I have hired people to do work on my house. I completely recommend using Army Painting and know you will not be disappointed but rather very happy that you picked good people who do a great job. read more

Called Army painting after being referred by a friend. Juan came promptly to survey the exterior that needed the repainting and sent an estimate shortly thereafter. The price was quite competitive and much more reasonable than a few others within the area. The Bay Area premium is a real thing. He was gracious enough to include some stucco wall retainers that needed some highlighting when I asked after the initial estimate. After settling on Army and requesting a date, communication was not optimal but I can't say it was just 1 sided. Being busy and traveling, it was hard to get things across but Juan did his best and rectified any miscommunication that was present. I consider this much better business practice and grateful that he took the time to listen to my concerns about the start date and completion of the project during a busy summer. Once the job started, he was available by phone and text, answered questions along the way and assured me of the work while being done at rising temps. The staff and crew present were courteous, didn't make a mess, took all the precautions necessary to avoid mishaps, and honestly, we barely could hear them working when I was there for a few mins. They worked safely at the higher, more difficult places and always soft spoken and quiet while working. With some neighbors, I was concerned noise would be a problem! After completion of the project, Juan took me on a check out tour, described the work done, including replacement of some rotting window wood frames that were replaced or sanded down, resealing of all the joints with caulking, and the double coats of paint. My wife, the perfectionist, found spots she thought could need some touch up and Juan promptly had guys over to address her concerns. Clean up was almost perfect, but much of it was replacement of stuff near or on the walls that had to wait for the paint to dry. Overall, I started with some anxiety for the project and by the end I would whole heartedly recommend Army painting for your next paint job. Thank you guys! read more

Thank you everyone at Army Painting for the wonderful job you did painting the exterior of our home. We feel we got excellent workmanship and a good price. Simply put, Army Painting is the best! From the moment we met Jose Jr. and his dad for the estimate through completion of the job, the whole process was a seamless, wonderful experience. We had a multi-day job and their crew showed up everyday on time and ready to work. They took great care in moving our items that needed to be moved (blinds, curtains, some furniture, etc) and put everything back in its place once the painting was done. Their prep work was impeccable and precise, leading to a high quality finished painting product. They took great care covering up our flooring (and we just had new carpet installed) and furniture. They patched up our walls and little dings here and there on the wood trims around the doors. Once the job was complete, Jose did a walk thru of our home and had the team do some final touch ups on areas that he was not satisfied with. I really appreciated his attention to detail and dedication to the craftsmanship to ensure we were satisfied customers. If you are in need of a paint job, look no further than Army Painting. They are so easy to work with and the quality of their work is exceptional! Thank you Army Painting! read more

We have had leaks on the one side of our house when it rains hard, we needed some wood replaced here and there, everything scraped, sanded, sealed, primed, and painted. We used Army Painting for our rental earlier this year and they did a wonderful job. Our primary residence desperately needed exterior painting on wood siding that was a mixture of old and new. Team Erik and Pops caulked and sanded rough areas meticulously with special attention to the trim. They primed the whole house so well that it looked like the primer was the finished coat. They were thorough in painting all exposed edges of the wood siding to ensure the wood was well protected. They went above and beyond to make the exterior of the house perfect.
