Used The WARRANTY 3 Years Later, Read This Review:…read more I'm so impressed by how Marvin has a customer first company! (2023) Back Story: In 2023 our back fence fell over in a storm. On the recommendation of a few neighbors, I had Marvin at Finesse Fence come out and give us a quote. When he came out to give a quote he gave a handful of ideas and pros and cons of each. He basically helped us choose what was best for us. Decided to go with Marvin and scheduled. His guys showed up on time! The work was great and his guys were extreme professional! The removal, install and clean up were all done with 5 star service. (2026) BUT Here Is Why I Wrote My First Review On Yelp Today: This past week I noticed a split in a panel and wanted to see if the warranty would handle it. Text Marvin, he called me back and set up a time to come out and look the next day. Arrived on time the next day and not only said yes he wanted to fix that panel against the warranty but he also had a look at the rest of the fence while he was there and saw a few posts that were structurally fine but were cracking, which he felt was too soon. So without even asking, Marvin said since my guy is going to be here for the panel I'm going to have him install a few posts using the warranty. You hear of companies who say ya give us a call if anything is wrong we'll come out and fix it. And most the time it's just words. Marvin really believes in making sure the customer is taken care of! He had two times I could choose from for his guy to come out. The next day or the following week. I choose the next day. His guy showed up and changed out the panel PLUS a few more. And changed out the posts. At the very least get a quote from Finesse Fence so they can tell you your options and know the removal, install and clean up or just the beginning of their 5 star service. Finesse Fence has a real warranty that Marvin will happily use if necessary to make sure his customer is so happy he would even write a yelp review for the first time!

Needed one side of our backyard fence replaced since it was old and dilapidated. Several boards…read morewere warped, rotted, and actually actually falling off in several places. We got 4 different quotes, including a quote from a company which did not even come out to do measurements but relied on satellite imagery for their dimensions (which were off by over 10'). The J's Fencing came out quickly and provided a competitive estimate for over 70' of fencing and ultimately we decided to go with them. The work they did was excellent. I thought they would install new posts and then use some prefabricated panels, but they built the 7' fence board by board. They made the fence work with my neighbor's existing gate. They also did a custom section, building the fence around a tree my neighbor wanted to keep, enabling the tree to grow without pushing on or damaging the fence in the future. They honored their quote while also doing some of the minor customization, and completed the work in a day. They hauled away all the old wood and also did a good job tidying up the area once the work was done. I have some additional work that needs to be done on another section of the fence and will be using them again in the future.

Everything seemed to be going smoothly. A gentleman showed up, took measurements, and evaluated the damage. I was told they'll have an estimate ready for me the next day. Next day came and no estimate. I called and no answer. Left text messages with no response. A week later I tried again with no answer, but owner's wife did call me back from a different number and told me they have been busy and also that they went on a retreat. OK? I was told again they'll get the estimate ready for me but days went by and still no estimate. Now my texts and calls are being ghosted. I guess business is good to turn down work. Very inconsiderate and unprofessional.

We chose California Fence primarily because of Bill. This may sound silly but part of the reason is because when he come over to meet with us and provide a quote, he was covered with dirt and sawdust, which reinforced what he was telling us - He is on the job working with his crew all day unless running out to do a quote. He listened to our needs and gave us experienced feedback. We had a medium sized tree which needed removing and killing, which he also did, and he needed to work around a gas line to our fire pit. We liked his attention to detail and his straight to the point matter. After answering our questions he immediately brought out his tape measure, little book and pencil and worked out a quote. His crew is composed of his family and a couple of family friends that have been working with Bill for years. They were all very friendly and respectful and seemed to share Bill's attention to detail. Bill and crew were always available to us and responsive to any questions we may have had. We were impressed with the quality of their work. When they were done we had a beautiful new Trex deck and the area was nicely cleaned up. We are very pleased and are happy to recommend California Fence.

First off... I never qive bad reviews. I rarely give any reviews at all so for me to be typing…read morethis says a lot right here. Today I had my fence re-built by another fencing contractor only 4 years after Sevilla's Fencing first installed it. The fence just fell apart and disintigrated. The problems are numerous, first off they used poor quality materials. The wood was green and it shrunk over time. Next they didn't use enough boards for the job. There were gaps between the boards and the boards were stapled end to end so over time as they shrunk they finall just fell out. Today the other contractor informed me that they also didn't secure the base board and they only used about a 1/3 of the nails/screws they should have, and to top it off, they used the WRONG (smaller) screws! The fence is also crooked, but that pales in comparison to the rest of the issues. My neighbor who I share this fence informed me that she actually contacted Sevilla's a year or so back to complain and see if they would stand behind their work , but she was told by them that this was normal wear and tear and they wouldn't fix it. I am writing this as a warning to anyone who may also be looking at Sevilla's that they may want to get a few more quotes.

Providing a very fair quote for our project and being able to start work the soonest, we decided to go with RC Reconstruction. From the moment they started the project, everything went extremely smooth. We had all gas and utility lines mapped out in advance by using 811. Gabriel and his team carefully navigated these marked areas with no difficulty. It was originally estimated that the project would take about 2 days to complete. But they were so efficient, that the project was started at 7AM and was completely done by 4PM the same day. The end result was a fence exactly as planned for! I highly recommend Gabriel and RC Reconstruction.

I recently hired Master's Touch Painting to fix an accent wall project in our master bedroom that I initially attempted as a DIY. The wall had a textured surface, so I glued and brad-nailed hardboard panels to make it smooth. Unfortunately, I made some mistakes during the final coat of paint and sealing the seams, which led to a patchy appearance and cracking. Jose and Carlos were very professional throughout the process. They agreed to help me at a reasonable cost and expertly repaired the cracks, sanded the surface, and applied multiple coats of spray paint. The final result looks fantastic! While I'm not sure if the cracking will reappear in the future, so far everything looks great, and I'm thrilled with how the wall turned out. After my wife selected 16 colors she thought she just loved...and prior to her meltdown in picking just one color, Scott agreed to paint a wall or two for us so we could be sure. They have lots of experience from watching eager homeowners visit paint display racks and how mistakes are made. Scott can help narrow the decision so the final result is both something you love and not a huge waste of everyone's time. Each day they arrived at the appointed time. Each day they cleaned up the mess so we could live. Each day they gave us a plan for where they were working next so our livelihoods were not overly impacted. Had them out again for a revised estimate a few months back and finally pulled the trigger. They are responsive, overly communicate (which I love) and have an overall great team. Super friendly and did what they said they would do and finished the job in a timely manner. Happy with their process - they made it easy to select colors, told me where to go, who to speak with, etc. In terms of their bid compared to two others that I received, they came in the middle, and in my opinion was worth every penny since they made it so easy. When I did the walk-thru after they were done with my husband (and we are picky and particular) there was not one thing I needed to have them come back for! Denise came out and gave us a quote which we'd thought we reasonable we'd decided to repaint the entire exterior instead. They were very nice working with our scheduling as we had to move it a couple of times because of our remodel. Once the date was finalized, Denise came out again and was able to go over all the options we have. Alonso then came out to do a sample patch for us to ensure it's what we wanted. The painters were great, power washed and patched the exterior. Did some repairs on rotted woodwork as well as re-hammering back down some wood siding to eliminate gaps on the wall. They would checked with us periodically to ensure it's exactly what we wanted. The house looks great. Would definitely call on Sunwest painting again.

Diaz Pro Painting painted a few other homes in our neighborhood over the last couple years, and after seeing their quality work live in person, I had made a mental note for when it would inevitably be our turn. I am picky about who I hire to do work on my home, and Diaz Pro Painting checked off all my boxes: local, social media and internet presence, good reviews, licensed and bonded. I loved being able to do everything online: it was very easy to schedule an appointment for a quote and there is also the option to pay online. On the day of the quote, Felipe came over on time and walked me through the entire process, highlighting what would be done on each day. I personally appreciated that the rest of our contact was via text and email (Idk, I just don't like talking on the phone). Our original start date had to be pushed back two days due to rain, which was not a problem for me. The team showed up promptly each morning and cleaned up after themselves at the end of each day - actually, the yard looked cleaner each day? Our home is tall with a very narrow space between the house and the fence, but the guys were able to navigate it safely and efficiently without sacrificing quality. I didn't get a chance to watch them work the ladders, but I just cannot get over how they were able to paint the high up soffits! They were meticulous in taping off outlet covers and doorknobs, and they took their time to ensure everything looked perfect. I contacted Brightview via Thumbtack after a botched job with another painter. The other painter…read morewas a total joke; lines as squiggly as drunk, paint smears and drops all over the place bc he didn't bother using dropcloths, damage to my stair handrail, and paint bleeding under areas he taped. To add insult to injury, he didn't bother showing up the next day or respond to calls/texts. On the 3rd day, he was late 2.5hrs after the agreed upon time. I was nice and gave him an ultimatum: fix everything or walk. He walked. I began searching for another painter and got 2 more bids. The first was outrageous (more than double the price) and then there was Juan from Brightview who worked out a great deal with me and offered to fix all the mistakes of the previous joker. He listened to my gripes as I showed him the shoddy workmanship and what I expect. He understood the assignment and to my amazement he offered to bring a crew of guys the next day (Saturday) to get everything done in 1 day! This was no easy task as I have 20-ft ceilings, a stairway, many windows, and have a couple accent walls. As promised the guys all showed up the next morning and the entire crew went right to work! Everyone knew their role and worked diligently to mask everything off, throw plastic sheets on everything, unroll resin paper on the floors and add drop clothes on any other exposed flooring. They were true professional painters in that they were able to freehand paint my textured walls to produce sharp edges. The clown painter before gave me an excuse that textured walls cannot have sharp edges. This was about the stupidest thing I've heard. If you hear this, stop, drop, and roll the guy out the door before the paint dries. At the end of the day, Brightview made sure I was happy with the results and asked me to walk all the rooms to make sure I was satisfied with the work and point out any imperfections so they can touch anything up before they leave. They also cleaned up all the mess they made and helped to move back everything that was touched. All the guys are Brightview were polite, talented, diligent, and very skilled. Juan and his crew did an amazing job and I'm glad we turned an unfortunate situation into a fixable one.

They worked continuously for five months, applying level 5 smooth finish to numerous walls and ceilings. While there were a few missteps and revisions to the initial estimate, I'm ultimately satisfied with the final result. Due to time constraints, my own painters had to address a few texture imperfections, but overall, the process was smooth enough that I would recommend Javier for large, multi-month renovation projects.
