I contacted Brightview via Thumbtack after a botched job with another painter. The other painter was a total joke; lines as squiggly as drunk, paint smears and drops all over the place bc he didn't bother using dropcloths, damage to my stair handrail, and paint bleeding under areas he taped. To add insult to injury, he didn't bother showing up the next day or respond to calls/texts. On the 3rd day, he was late 2.5hrs after the agreed upon time. I was nice and gave him an ultimatum: fix everything or walk. He walked. I began searching for another painter and got 2 more bids. The first was outrageous (more than double the price) and then there was Juan from Brightview who worked out a great deal with me and offered to fix all the mistakes of the previous joker. He listened to my gripes as I showed him the shoddy workmanship and what I expect. He understood the assignment and to my amazement he offered to bring a crew of guys the next day (Saturday) to get everything done in 1 day! This was no easy task as I have 20-ft ceilings, a stairway, many windows, and have a couple accent walls. As promised the guys all showed up the next morning and the entire crew went right to work! Everyone knew their role and worked diligently to mask everything off, throw plastic sheets on everything, unroll resin paper on the floors and add drop clothes on any other exposed flooring. They were true professional painters in that they were able to freehand paint my textured walls to produce sharp edges. The clown painter before gave me an excuse that textured walls cannot have sharp edges. This was about the stupidest thing I've heard. If you hear this, stop, drop, and roll the guy out the door before the paint dries. At the end of the day, Brightview made sure I was happy with the results and asked me to walk all the rooms to make sure I was satisfied with the work and point out any imperfections so they can touch anything up before they leave. They also cleaned up all the mess they made and helped to move back everything that was touched. All the guys are Brightview were polite, talented, diligent, and very skilled. Juan and his crew did an amazing job and I'm glad we turned an unfortunate situation into a fixable one. read more

BrightView Painting - Date I made appt. - Painters Near Me - Morgan Hill, California

I needed the interior of my house painted before my household goods arrived. They responded within minutes and came out the next day to provide a free estimate. Not only was is significantly cheaper than the competition, but *Juan was far more professional and detailed. His team came in that Saturday and painted the entire bottom floor. They took the time to remove outlets and cover any furniture I had. We are extremely satisfied with the job. Just take a look, downstairs used to be an ugly yellow/brown color. Huge plus: He was responsive throughout the entire process. From the selection of paint to the days post job. He wants to ensure your satisfied with the job and offered free touch ups to any area we didn't find up to par. This is the type of customer service you want. read more

I had a great experience with BrightView. They gave me a price and date and showed up on time to stain my fence and gates. I had them paint my gate frames and all metal hardware black. The final part of the project was to repair my corner eve under the gutter that got wet and dry rotted out. I will include photos Great Job Thx Juan read more

Juan quoted my job, and I accepted. He came over to prep my arbor, which he pressure washed and moved lights to paint. In the end, he asked for $300 deposit for supplies, which I sent to him over apple Cash. After that, he said he would come back for multiple days, but no one called and no showed. Finally, another painter called and said Juan was going to go the job to him. That painter Mario was great and informed that Juan never bought supplies and is actually out of business and was confused about how I found him. Juan stole my deposit and never called or texted back. Another review said the same thing. Don't use he is a scamming people for deposit money, then running off! read more

The work is just ok. I have chips on cabinets and they have not corrected the issue. I would not recommend for this reason.

Exterior painting This was the best possible experience we can imagine for painting our house. Extremely professional, fast and thorough. No paint overs at frames and accents, no stains on the decks. Just perfect. Everything got cleaned and swept after finishing the work. Communication was also perfect. I highly recommend them! read more

It seems like they don't exist. My house has blotches and paint is peeling off. I did this work about a year ago and tried to get them to fix it about 6 months into it and never returned my call. I would never hire them again. read more

We had our garage walls & ceiling textured and painted, floor epoxy coated last month. I contacted BrightView initially back in August, because I wanted to lock them in for October. Juan responds quickly to messages and texts. His team were professional and friendly. They masked, prepped, textured, sprayed, back-rolled, and touched-up. They were amazing. My wife nit picks at every single detail, but Juan and his team were more than happy to touch up any spot she pointed out. They use high quality materials (paint, texture, epoxy, flakes, clear coating). I'll probably hire them again to do the exterior paint of our house when it needs to be done. read more

Before moving into our new home, we wanted to spruce up the interior with some fresh paint (walls, ceilings, baseboards/trim, doors, and kitchen cabinets). Juan was able to come out same day to walk our home for a thorough and efficient quote, and asked thoughtful questions about our space. He offered his team to help us with the finishing touches we also wanted, like installing new hardware for the doors and kitchen cabinets. They were able to start right away. Juan was very responsive throughout the entire process. He and his team worked efficiently and were very detail oriented. The result was stunning! They did a fantastic job. We were tackling other renovations in the home with other contractors, and coordinating with Juan was always a breeze. Juan and his team came back afterwards for touch ups, which we greatly appreciate. We're thrilled to have a beautiful home. Juan takes pride in his team's work, cares deeply about his projects and clients, and is very responsive. We're excited to work with him and his team again on our home's exterior in the future. read more

We recently moved into our new house and wanted a fresh coat of paint for the entire house. Juan responded quickly to our request and gave us a competitive quote. And boy, did they deliver. Not only did they deliver on time, there were barely any issues I could call out. With this size job, there will always going to be some minor things, but we could only notice a few small things which Juan immediate took care of. I told him he's my painter for life :) Thanks Juan for making this project so seamless and easy for us. I cannot wait to work together again! read more

We finally took the plunge and had our house exterior painted! We received four quotes from different painting companies over the course of two months, but initially picked BrightView because Juan made us feel as though he would truly care about our house project. Juan was patient with us while we tested different colors and he was so helpful and kind in guiding us through color choices. Once the project began BrightView's team took extra care to protect our roof, windows, and ground from getting paint on it. They even went above and beyond replacing and fixing our mailbox to make it look more modern and they swapped out our porch lights. When painting the door and garages we were hesitant on colors and they made sure we liked the color and were happy before finishing. read more

We were looking for refinishing of our decks since they were starting to look a little worn. Juan and his team (Miguel & Connor) we're phenomenal. Juan provided a quote right away after a timely and efficient in person review. His team started working right away. They were friendly, professional and knowledgeable. They pressure washed, sanded and stained our decks in a timely manner. They were very open to adjustments, fixes and any spots that needed to be fixed. They were on time and communicated right away. Juan and his team were very curtíos, complete professionals and on time throughout the whole process and did a fantastic job! My advice is don't pay this company until you have viewed your house in all kinds of light. Our exterior house was painted white on a sunny day. It wasn't until a couple weeks later, when it was not Sunny that I noticed touchups needed around the windows. I phoned and texted repeatedly. Finally, I reached Juan. He said he would send someone out on Friday. No one came out on Friday, nor did they follow up. I was told, before they started the work, that "they'd stand behind their work". They absolutely did not. All that was good was cancelled out by their lack of responsiveness and their failure to make sure their customer was satisfied with the end product. read more

Stole our deposit and won't respond to calls/texts. Booked and sent deposit, never heard from Juan prior to paint day, called and texted when no-show and said he would call at a specific time and never heard from him. Have followed up numerous time with no response. DO NOT USE!!!!!! read more

Mario listens and responded his message quickly, I really appreciated. The two painters were excellent, they did excellent job in scraping off all the loose paint, patched and sanded all the loose spots, the house looks perfect after it's all done. Wow! Mario and his team were amazing. After we called for a quote, Mario visited our apartment the next day in person, listened to my goals, and discussed the best options to meet them. Because it was a small project, his team was able to squeeze us in, and were on site the day after. They arrived at 8:00am on the dot, were impeccable at keeping the site clean during their work, and did a lovely, careful job on the walls and baseboards. Though they had originally estimated the job would take up to 3 days, they stayed a little late and got it all done in one. They did a fantastic job, and I 100% would ask them to help me with future painting projects. read more

Sought a painter for the exterior of my home in the San Jose Evergreen neighborhood. Doing a Yelp search BrightView was one of the companies I sought a quote from. Juan picked up my call promptly and set a appointment to come out to my home. We walked through the job. Juan was similar to other painters picking up items needing addressing (flashing, exposed wood, etc. ). However , two things caught my attention and differentiated him. First was his genuine enthusiasm for the work. He must have given hundreds of quotes by now but there was a way he just invested himself in assessing the work as if it were his own home. The man just seems to love paint and painting. He was just so detailed. Second was the pricing and options provided. I did my research after and BrightView provides some of the best paint options out there at the most competitive prices. Their top of the line paint was the middle tier of the closest competitor and half of the most expensive competitor. After selecting Juan and BrightView, to my surprise and joy, they could start the job two weeks earlier than the nearest competitor. They were efficient. A power wash crew prepped the surface Friday. Painting started Monday on time and was completed by Thursday. The work crew knew their job, were friendly, accommodating and precise. They engaged with me throughout the job on trim choices and styles ( which I changed midway through) and even painted my mailbox post. Juan inspected the job throughout and followed up days after to make sure I was satisfied. Very happy. read more

We are very happy with Brightview Painting services. Easy communication and fast response from Mario. Very accommodating and reliable. His team arrived on time and finished the painting jobs (master bedroom and baseboards) early with excellent quality of work. The price is very reasonable too. I highly recommend Brightview Painting to anyone looking for fast and reliable painters. read more

BrightView Painting was fantastic. We have an 1800 sq foot home that we wanted to get the interior walls painted, and they did it over the course of 2 days, and the quality was superb. Juan was especially accessible, responsive, and communicative. Super helpful! 5/5 Stars. read more

If you are looking for professional, accurate, on time painters, you found them!   Juan came the same day we called him, gave us a very reasonable estimate, showed color samples, and explained the process in details. He also proposed to fix a shabby job done by our previous contractor at a big discount.  His team showed up the next day and they worked efficiently and meticulously. They painted our entire condo perfectly; they also did a great job painting our cabinets and closets.   Juan and his team were giving us regular updates at every step and made sure that everything is to our satisfaction during the final walk through. He also followed up one week after we moved in to see if anything else popped up that his team could fix. read more

Absolutely awesome service with reasonable price! I've worked with different contractors and companies for works in my house. Juan and his team is professional, detail oriented and friendly. I recommend the team to people who needs quality work with a reasonable price! We hired Juan and the team for an interior work -- wood window stain and kitchen cabinet painting. - Professional. Simply put, they know what they are doing and love what they do. I can see they are proud of their work, which is something hard to get nowadays. The painting result is great. Besides, they don't just use cheap material in their work. They use good quality tape, covers, power tools. This may not be paid attention by someone, but this shows how much they value the customers and love their work. - Detail oriented. The team is very accommodating and are happy to satisfy our minor extra request, such as repainting some areas. The painting lasted about 10 days. They always have things cleaned up before leaving. - Friendly. Everyone is friendly and are very patient explaining to me about the schedule and the work. - Responsiveness. This is not just about them giving me quote. But during the project (~10 days), every time I have questions or unclarity of the project, Juan is responsive picking up the phone. Juan is the owner of this business. He would visit our house very constantly to check the progress and the quality. This is in comparison of some business which signs you up then simply leave everything to the team. Overall, I'll absolutely hire them again if I need any painting work in future and highly recommend them! read more

I rented my condo for two years before purchasing it a couple months ago. I hated the two tone yellows and gray walls throughout and the brown wood kitchen cabinets so decided it all had to go immediately! I got five quotes, ranging from suspiciously cheap to outrageously expensive. Juan and two others came in the same ballpark. I chose Juanfor two reasons: I believe in supporting minority owned businesses and he was sweet to my dog (a boxer puppy who cannot fathom a reason anyone would come over other than to play with her), which made me feel more comfortable having him in my home. Juan was super responsive to phone calls, text messages, and emails. He blew me away when I called to ask what I needed to do in the kitchen to prepare it and he replied (paraphrasing), "don't worry about that, we can move things as needed, my goal is to make this a smooth process for you." He even told me not to worry about forcing the TV mount off the wall, that he would take care of it. When I saw the finished project, I was thrilled! Everything looked so good!! The walls were perfect and the kitchen, where I'd had the cabinets painted white, looked incredible. It was a huge face lift. Plus, my home was clean. I don't know what I expected, but to have everything in place, not covered in dust or paint seemed like a small miracle. Juan came over the day after I returned for a walk through and immediately started pointing out small things he wanted to work on, minor things I never even noticed. His attention to detail and pride in his work was clear. I am beyond happy with Juan's work and the price was right. I highly recommend Juan and his team. You'll love 'em! read more

Juan came on the same day we called him to view the house and gave us a quote immediately (unlike other painters who took several days to provide us a quote). Juan also went over which paint will be used and which caulk would be used and both were quality products. We like the transparency as we knew exactly what we are paying for. Juan and his team went above and beyond to make sure the house looks beautiful. We are very happy with the final result and highly recommend BirghtView Painting read more

WOW!!! Juan, Mario, and the entire Brightview Painting Team were exceptional! We had a tight time line to turn a disaster condo into a beautiful home. Brightview worked with us every step of the way with a quote in less than an hour and team onsite the Very Next Day. The crew wasted no time on the extensive prep work that was needed before a drop of paint could be laid down. They fixed walls and ceilings and doors, filling and sanding and priming everything. Originally Every room was a different (horrible) color, but after the paint spray work it was a beautiful unified space. Brightview even accommodated our new flooring installation in the mist of their work flow to ensure the new baseboards would be treated to their same excellent workmanship. Brightview has our business for life! read more

I hired the Brightview team to paint the interior of my garage and they did such an excellent job. They were professional, hardworking and so accommodating of all of my requests. The outcome was exactly what I asked for. Additionally, the owner, Juan, is such an exemplary leader of his company. I received some of the best customer service I've ever had. I was initially planning to go with another company but after several conversations with him, I felt compelled to switch. He was so responsive and always willing to meet my needs for the project. There have been many superlatives written about Juan and his company on Yelp and, honestly, they're all true. I will certainly hire his team again for any future painting needs. read more

We recently bought a home in San Jose which was in dire need of an upgrade. I contacted Brightview and Juan and his team met with us immediately and gave us a fair quote. From then on, these guys have been customer focused and diligent about all aspects of the project. They did interior and exterior painting, a ton of interior upgrades (cabinets and closets painted, some reframing work, and other upgrades throughout the home).
