Great view, great food! Service was exceptional. We ordered a variety of items and the quality and taste was just the best.

Nothing outstanding... I had the cheeseburger. There was black and white sesame seeds thrown on top of the bun, the bottom bun was cold, and the pickle was one piece from a spear cut into thirds. Others in my party had the Italian beef, chicken parm and the short rib grilled cheese. Also, it was only ok. read more

We came during afternoon with two kids after visiting a local farm. We ordered several dishes. The shrimp dish was good and the rest of food was average. The service was good. The outside seating is definitely special. read more

Food was really bad. Chicken tenders comprised of slimy, gray, unrecognizable "meat". Frozen shoe string french fries and a gross Mediterranean wrap. Skip this place altogether. read more

I needed lunch and yelped and found this cool lil place. It was hard to find with navigation, but the location was super cool. The deck will be awesome in warmer months, with the water flowing below. The inside is small but well laid out and designed. Loved the descriptions of the drinks; very fun. We opted for the French 75 and Hurricane Szn. Both were yummy and had strong pours. We got the jalapeno wontons, cheesy good filling, nicely fried, and the hot aioli sauce was perfect; we saved it to go with our fries! I got the Turkey BLT which comes on a toasted croissant, and hubs got the bacon jam burger. Both were cooked really well, with good filling-to-bread ratios. The fries were crisp, and the seasoning was perfect. Prices were very fair - portions appropriate. Service was outstanding. We probably will be back in the warmer months to take advantage of the deck:) read more

Really exceeded my expectations, what a great place! The food was fantastic, with beautiful presentation as well. The wine pours exceedingly generous. The service was very kind and prompt, and the atmosphere has so much potential, we came on a rainy Sunday evening, but I can't wait to come back on a nicer day and take advantage of the patio. Of the food, the bruschetta appetizer and short rib entree were my favorites. The short rib was incredibly tender and tasted as great as it looked. read more

Easy to get in on a Saturday night. The atmosphere is casual, wait staff wearing jeans and tshirts. The menu is decent but since I am plant based I only had 2 options ( which had dairy) it doesn't cost much to bake a block of tofu daily so that there is a plant based protein option. I wish the did, my meal would have been 100 times better for me. All that said we had the brussel sprout salad which felt healthy but tasty. I had the pumpkin bourbon cocktail which was great. My friend also had I great cocktail. read more

There is absolutely zero craftsmanship here. The food quality was on par with what you'd get when Home Depot gives out free hot dogs and hamburgers in the parking lot to celebrate... I don't know, the anniversary of plywood or something. Honestly, I've had more inspiring meals at a Little League concession stand. read more

Delicious food with a beautiful river view and attentive service. I got the med wrap and my partner got the fried chicken sandwich and we were both very pleased. Their fries are excellent too. read more

This place is a hidden gem. The atmosphere is vibey and rustic with exposed bricks and beams. The outdoor space along the river is gorgeous and I'll be back this summer to enjoy it more. It was a little cool to sit outside for me but we sat at the bar and had a great meal! Short rib grilled cheese and gyro did not disappoint; excellent craft cocktails and food without being stuffy. The super friendly waitress/bartender always checked in without being over-imposing. There was nothing I didn't like here and I'll definitely be back again! read more

great once you find it so park across the river in the barking dog parking lot and take first little bridge across the river and it is there on the right wonderful river side/ top deck which we would have chosen but experience with yellow jackets yesterday at another nearby restaurant caused to choose inside drinks good and as ordered calamari great had the bacon jam burger excellent and huge did not realize it was 2 burgers date had the short rib grilled cheese could not stop saying how good it was so find this place and you will enjoy!!!! read more

Yummy huge brussel sprouts salad with salmon. A bit too much balsamic. Drinks were good but so expensive. Service was super attentive! Ambience was awesome, great outside seating (although the Ash tree looks like it's going to drop some huge limbs real soon). Someone smoking on the deck. Ugh. read more

What a lovely surprise! The outside deck on the river makes it all worthwhile. Beautiful view! Initial service was a little slow--always a great idea to get drinks to your customers right away. But servers were very pleasant! Food was very good--empanadas, fish tacos--and reasonably priced. Only drawback is the music on the beautiful outdoor deck was blasting and made it hard to carry on conversations and to hear the relaxing sound of the rushing river. read more

Went here the other day later right before the kitchen closed and the owner still made us food and it was delicious! This place is a comfortable, great service is affordable and has good seating indoors or outdoors by the stream. 10/10 would recommend. read more

Me and my fiancé visited here today and this place did not disappoint! We started with the Jalapeño Wontons with chili ranch dipping sauce. I asked if we could get it without the bacon but they're pre-made. We still went with it because we are die hard wonton fans! They were really good and so was the dipping sauce. I expected the inside to be chunky but it was actually creamy, but again, it did not let us down. I ordered the grilled chicken sandwich but I asked for it fried, came out great! My fiancé ordered the "chicken bacon ranch burger" but before ordering we asked if this was a burger or a chicken sandwich, and they assured us that it was a fried chicken sandwich. It ended up coming out as a ground chicken burger. He was skeptical since it's not what we expected to come out but he ate it and it was super tasty - great flavors! The environment gave such great vibes, we will definitely be back! read more

I'm from out of town and came here from a recommendation from the hotel, and it did not disappoint! The food is delicious. The menu has favorites you know and love with a little twist! The service was friendly and always available but not intrusive! I recommend the feta shrimp, pretzels and queso, and Brussels sprout salad plus a craft beer or an amazing looking cocktail! read more

Stopped in to have dinner, unfortunately we left after this app. The staff was nice and the restaurant is in a great location, it was also clean. We ordered chicken fingers to start and they came out burnt. This tells me they need to change the oil in the fryer. Also for $9, we should have had more. I do not recommend eating here, but handing out to play trivia, in a cool location...would be fun. read more

We stopped in on a rainy night and had a great meal. Friendly atmosphere, good food, we will be back now that we have figured out to park behind the Barking Dog restaurant and walk across the bridge. Always a great experience. Food is always good, especially the burgers and pasta dishes. There are so many places around the area with good food choices. We try to come here 2-3 times a month because the Friday night bartenders (Kerry and Stan?) are two of our favorite people. They always make it a fun experience and their choice in music is on point. read more

LOVEEEEEE Blue Moon! I've been here a dozen of times and every time, it's been an awesome experience. First off the location is amazing. We love sitting at the bar area outside near the river. Very happy I came here after someone recommended it. It is definitely hidden, but once you find it, it's a great spot. We got lunch and drinks, while we sat right on the river. Drinks were tasty and the rum punch type drink comes in a legit mini bucket. We got the asian chicken sandwich and Mediterranean wrap... both delicious. Want to come again to try some other drinks/ food items! Also, had no issues with service when I went! read more

We have been to blue moon many times and have always enjoyed the food, drinks, and service. We now have a new addition to our family and unfortunately learned that the bathroom does not have a changing table. I had to leave the restaurant, walk to the parking lot and change my baby in the trunk of my car. There were a few other babies in the restaurant while we were there as well. It would be a really nice gesture if you could install a changing table so that we can come back again. read more

Blue Mood Kitchen & Bar has an amazing atmosphere that is right on a river. The river right beside you creates an amazing ambiance. Great employees/workers and they follow all COVID safety measures. We ordered chicken dishes which were super tender and crispy, exactly the way we like it! As an app we got the Buffalo chicken dip, this was amazing, the homemade pub chips were to die for! This is really something special. We were promptly greeted and sat with our server Emily. She was super attentive and has personality for days. Blue moon has been open for one week and she has mastered them menu and drinks from avocado toast to cheese cake. Manager Jordan came over to greet our party and she is a welcoming friend and a magician behind the bar. Expert creative cocktails. It makes you realize how great a master bartender really is truly an asset. Our meals come out and the halibut it extraordinary. Flat iron steak sandwich just melt in your mouth delicious. This place checks all the boxes. We can wait to come back and continue exploring the menu. Also to hang out with friends new and old. Outstanding job!!! read more

First I must warn you that unfortunately the shrimp sauté in my opinion is one of the absolute worst things I have ever eaten in my life. The sauce tasted like olive juice from canned olives. The pasta was bland and the shrimp was only mediocre. The server did an amazing job though and was very attentive. The dessert was a tropical lava cake that is an absolute must try. read more

The first time I ate there I got fried calamari. A good seven of them were stuck together in a clump by someone's hair. We also got deviled eggs and there was a hair on that plate too. It's extra sucky when you don't order a side of hair and they just throw it in for you. No surprise there are so many one star reviews. The river seating is nice, but not worth all the hairy food. Stay far away from this dump. read more

The ambiance by the water in the summer is lovely! It's a place where you can sit inside but still feel outdoors when the deck area is open! The seating out on the deck is clean, very pretty! The management and waitstaff were super attentive! My only drawback is the food. It's just ok. I think if the cook from the Barking Dog ( great food, not great ambiance) worked here, their business would go through the roof! So much going for it- but if the food is just ok, I don't know how successful it will be in the long run. Bring in great food and this place will be a winner! read more

Although the food here is very good, winter is not the best time to go to Blue Moon for atmosphere. The inside is plywood 90's decor. The deck looking out on the raging stream is a wonderful sight, but not one you can take advantage of while dining inside. We had the recommended deviled eggs with mustard sauce (excellent), the Korean BBQ wings (very good) and the chicken soup (not recommended, mostly rice) for apps, the Cuban pork belly sandwich (yummy) and haddock po'boy (on real French bread and tastes just like NOLA!) for our mains. All good and so filling we took a lot home. Unfortunately the cocktails are full of ice and not much flavor beyond the very ordinary fruit juice. With a little work on the decor and a good bartender, this place would shine! read more

To all the Karen's giving bad reviews about under staffed and longer wait times. Don't forget we had a pandemic. Great atmosphere and food! The staff was definitely doing the best that they could under the these circumstances. We went on a beautiful day and the service was still good. If you expect fast immediate food, go to McDonald's. read more

My family has eaten here a few times and the food was great. Tonight I ordered the shrimp saute and there was 0 shrimp! My husband ordered the 4 cheese tortellini which should have been made with tomato cream sauce and there was none! Since it was take-out and we were hungry, we ate as is. We notified the manager and he offered a remake but wish it was right the first time cause we didn't exactly want to go back out. Gonna be awhile before I can even think about going there again.
