It was also served on a side dish (small portion), she had to ask for a larger plate so she could actually try and cut the chicken. You really can't mess up a chicken Caesar salad, but this was the biggest let down of the night. The restaurant needs a larger breast, or it needs to come sliced by the chef . I got a burger it was fine. Nothing special for the price. My husband got a burger and wasn't med well like he asked for, it was med rare. Kids got chicken tenders, which were weird looking, looked like crab Rangoons. Which kids don't want weird looking food, they like normal chicken tenders, lol unfortunately my son didn't like and all the fries were cold. We also had an appetizer of mussels those were in a delicious sauce, but the toast for dipping was burnt, and the mussel meat was so tiny! Also our used forks were on our bread dishes, and waitress took 1/2 the party dishes and put our used forks on the dirty table. That's a no, no. All these problems I'm sure will be eventually worked themselves out. I'm sure if they switch that thin chicken out, on the salad as nobody's gonna want super thin dry chicken. The place needs a bit more training for waitstaff, and the kitchen must do better! Especially for a upscale place, As us locals are rooting for this place to do so well. So far the food didn't impress me, but the View, the building and the decor was all done so beautifully. I do know I'll be back as being so close to home, I wouldn't rule them out just yet! as I think the food kinks will get worked out in the end hopefully! A server came back to ask if the gluten free request was an allergy or not as the deep fryer would be cross contaminated. Not an issue for our friends. What arrived was a bowl of chewy calamari sitting in oil. Most unpleasant and really not something we would eat. We mentioned to our waiter who then said since they are gluten free they can't coat or fry them. So, not sure where the disconnect was. They took them away and removed them from the bill. No harm.
