This was our first time ordering from this place via ubereats. The chicken pad see ew was amazing. We also ordered a pad kee mao (drunken noodle); while tasty, be aware, the spicy level gave me a good kick even to my palette. Our least favorite (which we couldn't finish) was the pad thai due to its strong hit of fish sauce. Overall, glad we found this place and will likely order again for the pad see ew. read more

This place is amazing. They made a mistake by opening it so close to my house because I have been here three times in the past week and it's only Tuesday! The Pad Thai Noodles are a staple of Thai food and this place has the best ones as they're not greasy and the chicken is very lean. The curry noodles are great as well because you can taste everything that went into making the curry. As far as the appetizers, the coconut shrimp and huge and fried to flaky perfection. Currently crying over my keyboard because I no longer reside in Chicago and cannot order Blue Frog's unbelievably delicious Pad Thai. Thought I would come back here and make a review to reminiscence... Prior to moving, I ordered delivery at least every two weeks and if it was a bad week, twice a week because my goodness there food is just SO good, especially the Pad Thai. Love their Crab Rangoon as well. Although I don't know 'true' authentic Thai, I have been to several Thai restaurants in my life and Blue Frog (in my opinion) is top of the line when it comes to prices, service and flavor. I have a deep obsession for Pad Thai and unfortunately, I will have to take a flight back to Chicago because Hotlanta is just not cutting it in the Pad Thai department, or really any department compared to Chicago but we already knew this. Came here twice so far and I love their lunch specials. Love their authentic Thai food! Their lunch specials are about $8 and a variety. First time I ordered the pad see ew and it was delicious. Came with crab Rangoons. Also ordered a delectable Thai iced tea. It didn't disappoint. Second time I ordered the green curry to go. I was a little dismayed that there wasn't a separate container for the curry because the rice soaked up all the sauce. I've ordered here for delivery a ton of times. It's pretty solid. I've had Pad Thai and Drunken Noodles and also crab rangoon. I prefer the drunken noodles over pad thai - if you're trying to decide. The crab rangoon is good but not great. I think that's partially due to getting it delivered instead of dining in. I had the Bangkok Chicken, spicy sweet brown sauce covers the bottom of this large portion of amazing crunchy chicken, jalapeno and green peppers onions....amazing for 10.95. Not very authentic in cooking or taste, although it was cheap in price and staff was nice. I don't agree with the original rating given of four and a half stars. My friend and I each had the lunch special, which was priced at $7.95. I chose shrimp pad Thai, which was $3 extra. The sauce is not like what I have had in Thailand. It is pretty sweet and didn't sit well with my stomach. The green curry he had was decent but they should have used Thai eggplant. I don't think they use actual jasmine rice. The veggie roll and crab Rangoon was pretty good though. It's not that the food was made horribly, it's more that it was not authentic Thai food. So, I will not come back there for authentic Thai. Ordered pad see ew, a little above average I would say. Noodles are a little over cooked, but still taste pretty good. Don't like the ingredients the owner put in there, broccoli, carrots, that's just not authentic Asian cuisine. Chicken satay has a nice curry flavor, but the peanut dipping sauce is wayyyy too sweet. But I can live without the sauce. It's nice that it came with a little side of pickled cucumbers, and the owner asked me if I want chili sauce, even tho the chili sauce wasn't very nice lol (he put too much vinegar in there). I came here on Friday evening around 7 pm. The guy who owns the shop is a very friendly thai man. The guy at the front did to have any knowledge of the menu though and was slightly rude. My boyfriend and I ordered the panang curry tofu and green curry beef. The portions are very large and generous and they use an ample amount of meat. I also enjoyed the amount of vegetables in the two dishes as well as the complementary rice because some places charge for rice. Will definitely order from them again. Update: First time I ordered their lunch special. The red curry chicken didn't taste as great. The curry sauce was already mixed with the rice so by the time I got home the rice soaked all the juice so the chicken and rice was dry. So delicious! We got the Panang curry, red curry, and green curry! Also the Bangkok chicken was phenomenal, then the basil eggplant chicken was so tasty! They all come with thier bowl of rice.
