My family wanted a casual bite to eat after spending 9 hours flying across the country. We are happy to have discovered this little hidden gem minutes from the Medford airport. From the outside, I wasn't expecting much but as soon as we walked into the restaurant the whole vibe transported us to Hawaii. The food was served very quickly and by a server that genuinely wanted to know what we thought about the food. We were not disappointed in any of our choices. Really glad we ended up finding this place after some screw up with waze. Hawaiian fusion delivered as hoped the fish sandwich was phenomenal. White great bread, but the fish was definitely. The star would've liked a little more slaw on it but still phenomenal. Good balance wonderful fish sandwich the french fries top of their game super crispy not too much salt just wonderful. Mix plate as promised good Kahlúa pork and teriyaki chicken. Max salad was fantastic with really good carrots. For some reason. I don't know what they did differently but really appreciated that and the Reis was Spot-on as well. I wish more Hawaiian places would use cabbage when they're doing their Kahlúa that's my only critique but definitely will be back five stars. read more

I ordered take out: fish tacos. The service staff was welcoming and kind. The fish tacos comes with rice, macaroni salad and two tacos. The rice and macaroni salad were really good. However, the tacos came with one very thin piece of fried fish (width of my finger), so you could barely get any flavor. Stopped in Medford for the night on a roadtrip and discovered Blue Fish Hawaiian Fusion. Absolutely excellent. I decided on their Kahuna Sampler (appetizer) and my husband had the Kaluza Pork. The coconut shrimp were a good size, I'm just not a fan of candied coconut. Mixed Plate - we chose baby back ribs and teriyaki steak. Ribs were tender and flavorful. The teriyaki steak was standard. The plate came with two scoop sticky rice which was authentic and one scoop Mac salad which was also pretty good. The staff was very pleasant and attentive. Our order was ready quickly. Walking in you get small pleasant reminders of Hawaii!!! I was immediately greeted and sat at a table. The many items to choose from, but I decided to go with a classic, the loco moco. It was delicious!! Perfectly seasoned and cooked, the gravy was savory and not salty and the perfect amount drizzled over a bed of fresh white rice and a side of mac salad. Tried it this week for the first time. It's a very clean but small place. I love there are open spots to see into the kitchen. The hostess and busser were very friendly and attentive. The food was delicious. We had the lava dusted wings--very nice, tender and flavorful, a bit of heat that grows over time. These aren't burn your face off hot. For mains we had the Kalua pork and loco moco. The pork was nice, smoky and tender. The loco moco was very generous in portion with a brown gravy tangoing with teriyaki flavors. The Mac salad was fine but the carrot pieces came off a bit too crunchy IMO. A few things I wish--some at least advertised side salad substitutions for us who like to avoid carbs and perhaps a standard a sort of authentic green salad we haven't seen everywhere. Those two suggestions don't make this place less yummy. read more

(Oriental) and my husband had the Appetizer Sampler. They were both really good. We split both. The salad not only had teriyaki chicken on it but also mandarin oranges (FRESH!) No canned here!. The salad was very fresh and crispy with awesome dressing. The appetizer samplers were meat rolls, coconut shrimp, and spicy chicken wings. All of which were wonderful. First of all huge amount of food overall! I ordered on Uber eats and I ordered a combo plate of teriyaki chicken and kalua pork. I also ordered coconut shrimp appetizer because it sounded amazing. The food came and looks good when I cracked it open. Good amount of everything but I would have preferred a little less rice and more macaroni. There was only a few tablespoons of macaroni and it was good. Pretty large pieces of carrots white I would suggest cutting a little smaller but overall good. The chicken was in big pieces and they did not give me a fork so that wasn't fun because I'm in a hotel for my job. The Kalua pig was good too. The coconut shrimp was good but over cooked a bit. The sauce it came with was really good too. Overall I would recommend but would offer the business owner a few suggestions. A little less cooking time on the shrimp, add more macaroni and less rice even if that means smaller portions of everything else (because the rest of the portions are huge) and PLEASE include cheap plastic silverware!! First off, the customer service I experienced was top tier. Very nice workers both times I've ate here. On top of that, the food I got was super delicious, I've tried the mixed plate with Terryaki chicken, Terryaki steak, mac salad and white rice. I had it one day, came back the next day for round 2... the inside of this place is very nice as well not to fancy but just right. I really wanted to like this restaurant better...it appears to be family operated and owned. We were seated quickly and the drinks were brought out in an appropriate time frame. When taking our order the server did not write anything down, and you guessed it...I was brought out the wrong dish. I did not complain or let the server know that the wrong dish was made. Again, it's a small business and I want to see it flourish. (On a side note, the server brought out the wrong dish to the table next to us too....so I wasn't a one off.). When the bill came there was a mandatory 20% gratuity included. I'm not opposed to tipping 20% if the service is good, but I was not thrilled about the automatic tipping...I tried to remove it off the portable credit card reader, but it wouldn't let me. I did not see the 20% gratuity listed on the menu, it could have been there...if it was it should be very obvious to the customer, if it's not then it should have written. read more

Was looking for a new spot to try for lunch with Mom and Pop today, and this establishment caught my eye. The restaurant itself was clean and new looking, it's a little bit hidden on the side of the Albertsons strip mall. Staff was very attentive and friendly. The menu was Hawaiian with a surprisingly big selection of items. I had the loco moco; it was a good size portion, the hamburger, egg and rice were topped with a flavorful gravy that was quite good. The Mac salad was excellent. My parents both had the kalua pork plates and they both commented on how tasty it was. As with all my reviews, it is an automatic 1 star deduction for serving Pepsi products instead of Coke, but otherwise we were very pleased to have tried this place and will be back again. So I will start by saying the fish and chips here are great and the service is also great. Price is about right on. Now the reason of the 3 stars, I ordered the moco loco which is one of my favorite Hawaiin dishes. The dish presentation was great 2 eggs 2 burger patties rice and house made gravy. Now the eggs were fine and had a normal egg taste so no seasoning them. Here's were it gets bad. My 2 burger patties were over cooked and tasted like they just came out of the freezer also no seasoning on them to add flavor. The next day i had to use the bathroom alot and it was the only place i had eaten at in 12 hrs. So there is my review on blue fish. If I do go back it will be for the fish and chips and not the moco loco. read more
