Sauce and rice is good but mac is ok and chicken was way too burned!!! I swear i was literally tasting the black grill. Maybe i had a bad batch because the reviews say otherwise. The line for five car deep when i pulled in but it went pretty quickly. read more

Gave me a sample of their chicken and Mac salad. I am planning a party and wanted some great teriyaki. The chicken was white meat, juicy and delicious. The Mac salad was yummy as well. I didn't get any this trip because the party is on Sunday and they are closed. I will definitely be back for midweek for some of that yummy goodness. read more

This is my favorite place to eat in Southern Oregon hands down. I have lived here for three years and have tried many restaurants in Medford and Ashland and this is the best! Only downside, there is always a line! I always order the chicken bento with all sauces, with the Mac salad. The Mac salad is the best part of the bento, it's so good! It's not super slimy, it's the perfect Mac consistency ever! And it comes on top of a bed of brown or white rice, I always get brown! If you are in Medford and are hungry, this is the place to go! read more

Let me preface with I love local small businesses.. I would rather frequent them over chains any day. I understand our restaurants are struggling and are having a hard time which it seems is contributing to the quality of food decreasing across the board, not just this place. I went to get lunch today, 2/5/20 for my team and I from G's. The food used to be good and plentiful. I ordered two chicken bento's and 1 beef. Service has never been good here and the caucasian woman is the absolute RUDEST. The food was good so I always went back. When I got back to work we opened our meals and were sorely disappointed! The steak bento had very little meat (see photo) and it was an additional $3 for extra Mac, which I wouldn't have minded if it had any flavor. The meat was cold and dry as if it was old and tasted like sweet chili sauce instead of teriyaki. The chicken, my team said was chewy and had a strange taste. Altogether our 3 means cost $29 which none of us were able to eat. This experience coupled with the worst customer service has solidified our decision not to go back. For a business that has never been dine in, I would expect the food quality to be similar if not the same as before. Just..do better for your patrons. That's all I ask. read more

A great bento place. Quick service and reasonably priced. The smoky, grilled flavor of the meat is very enjoyable. They give a great portion and their portions are a great value for the price. I love chicken and the beef. It's only a few dollars more to double the portion, and it's A LOT of food. Love the greens that come with it too. We haven't been disappointed yet. Don't be deceived by the small location! The drive-thru is perfect for a quick bite on the go. I prefer chicken so I'm regularly ordering the chicken bento and have yet to be disappointed. Price is definitely reasonable and I think it's swell that they offer a side with your meat/rice combo. The only downside for me is that their beverages only come in 12oz cans. If you don't want to drive to Ashland/Phoenix for a good bento I definitely recommend this gem of a place!! read more

eat at your own risk. Ive eaten here quite a few times like most a friend told me about it. All i can say is if you like diahreia this is the bento for you! besides the chicken tasting different everytime i eat there from being ok to very dry. I cant help but notice they have hundreds of flies inside the shack landing on the chicken right on the grill.....my guess is the chicken is not at safe temperature if from my car im watching dozens of flies land all over the food, flies wont land on a hot GRILL!; Which might also explain the last two times i got sick about 1 hr after and stayed sick the rest of the evening. The last time i could smell somthing not quite right though the yummy teriyaki sauce. I got close and smelled the actual chicken which smelled "off". By "off" i mean if you have ever had chicken or lunch meat, or meat of any kind go bad in your frigde at home. It smelled just like that. i stopped eating right when i realized it was the actual meat. If the meat was fresh everyday like the rice i would never have had to write this review. Sorry to say once i question the food practice and get sick twice in a row im done. Next visit take a look in the window and check the cleanliness factor. i.e. counters. walls. floors and smell your chicken before eating it. oh and dont forget to watch those flies land all over the chicken on the grill if you want safe bento i've always had good luck with noho's and shoji's, never got sick at either of those places. read more

I had hands down the rudest experience at G's Bento just a few minutes ago. I went through the Drive and ordered, my order came to $10.00 after the girl with long blond wavy hair took my card and started to run it, she tells me that it will be $10.50 ??? Why "Because of the card you are using" i say ok? you just told me $10.00 now it is another 50cents after she takes my card. I say, ok but i think that is wrong and i probably wont be coming back. She says, "then we just wont be serving you!" and slams the window on me, then puts her hand up to me in the window to block me...Are you kidding me? I have never in my life been treated like that as a customer. I said nothing rude or mean, just that i thought it is wrong to tell a customer that it is one price and then charge them another, I will NEVER go to this establishment ever again and I will be telling every one I know about it. There is no excuse for that sort of behavior when running a buisness. Dear Mr.Jared Gail, i have owned several service based business and have never once treated a customer so poorly. Your employee or whom ever she is, should be let go immediately. read more
