The beer battered fish was excellent! We had coconut shrimp for an appetizer and ordered a second round because it was so good. Their special sweet sauce is so good I was putting it on everything. Didn't know what was considered Hawaiian Fusion but decided to try it. So glad we did. For a little restaurant (maybe 15-4 chair tables and some seating at the bar), it was very clean, well laid out, open and friendly. The decor was simple but effective, happy even. The service was perfect; quick, friendly and efficient. All of the employees were happy and helpful. We had a time limit of 30 minutes before an appointment and asked if we would be able to get our food in a timely manner. We were told we would be able to get our food quickly (it was not busy at that time so can't tell you how fast things could go if it was very busy). We did get our food quickly. The food was fabulous. Well seasoned, perfectly cooked. The ribs are falling easily off of the bone. We tried the shrimp, chicken, ribs and pork on two sampler plates. It was filling, tasty and nicely plated. Not expensive either. You could easily pay more for a meal at a fast food restaurant. We are eagerly looking to come back and try the fish tacos. Staff was very nice & accommodating. However the first choice of a microbrew they were out of it. Second choice was flat. We opted for a bottle of beer instead. My husband ordered a dinner with shrimp additional and it came with teriyaki chicken. They brought the shrimp on the side however they were a little uncooked. My husband has always loved a good Loco moco, today was my first time trying it and OH My GOSH it was sooo good! This place was super cute and clean, very friendly staff and the coconut shrimp were very good too! We noticed that they had lots of regular customers through interactions while we were there. We've been wanting to try this new place in our neighborhood - so glad we did. Ordered take out and the food was fresh and delicious. The restaurant was nicely decorated and clean. I received a prompt and friendly greeting and my food was ready and being packaged nicely. This place had been recommended by a few different friends and we finally were able to try it. We felt truly welcome when we walked in the door and throughout our dinner. Very casual, clean & light interior with fresh decor & great service. The Shrimp Island Stir Fry was fresh and veggies were crisp tender--perfect! The only regret is that I ate everything on my plate and was too full for the coconut pie! In the future I want to try the fish tacos, which looked amazing, the Kahlua pig rolls, and coconut shrimp, but maybe first a piece of the coconut pie before I get too full again on the delicious entrees!
