This is the current hours M-F 10:30 am to 6:30 pm Indoor and outdoor patio seating is available. There is also a drive-thru. They are very popular at peak lunchtime so it is best to call in your order beforehand. Sometimes the line at lunchtime extends to the outdoor patio. Plenty of traditional Japanese dishes are there, and a few that are unique to the restaurant, such as the Panko Fish plate. They have Ramune soft drink available, and iced green tea. They also have the usual American soda fountain drinks. The only disappointment is the cheap Chinese chopsticks , but you can always bring your own. read more

I can't believe I never been here! It's so close to where I live. Randomly one day I thought Id check it out and I was amazed! Staff was really really friendly, food was great. Everything is fresh and within 7-8 minutes your food is ready. The panko is light and crunchy. I wasn't sure what sauce I'd like so she gave me a little bit of all the sauces. After visiting the Phoenix Public Library, I had a sudden craving for some japanese food. This restaurant happened to be right across from it, so I decided to eat there. I ordered the Panko Fish Bowl, but to my dismay; I was informed that they were out of fish, so the owner suggested the coconut shrimp. I was pretty happy with it and I thought the special orange sauce was flavorful. The prices are also pretty affordable and the food comes out pretty quick. But the real reason why I am giving this business 4 stars is based on the fact that the owner and the staff of this establishment are helpful and honest. The food is always so delicious and fresh. I took mine as a takeout order. Rice was cooked perfectly, chicken was amazing. California roll flavorful- sushi rice perfectly made and crab and cucumber fresh. My fav is avocado and tofu salad. The dressing is a homemade dressing like no other so I always order extra. Solid place if you know what to order. Prices are great for the quantity of food you get. Some things are just so "healthy" they have no flavor. For example, don't order the yakisoba or curry. Curry has no flavor and is so far from actual Japanese curry. Yakisoba tasted like boiled pasta and vegetables with no sauce. Anyone who knows these foods, know they are bursting with flavor. I would see it still being healthy without a lot of salt, but you still need to add other flavors. On the flip side, the teriyaki beef and chicken is fire. Sweet and sour chicken and katsu is also fire. Just stick to these meats and you won't be disappointed. read more

We have always love going here. When I was looking for a caterer for our wedding, we couldn't find anyone who would adjust for all the food allergies my family and I had. When we asked Bluefin and they said yes I almost cried not only are they our fav place to eat but the staff is amazing. When we told our guests that we would be having bluefin they freaked out. The inside was very retro, and not very appealing. They used styrofoam boxes and stuff even if you dined in, which was odd and not very environmentally friendly. The place was a little dirty, bits and pieces of food could be found at all the vacant tables. The service was also slow, their wasn't many people when I ordered, so I do not know what's the hold up. The lady in the front was super friendly and helped me decide what I wanted since it was my first time. I ordered this bowl of noodles with a bunch of veggies. Kinda like lo-mein. Love this place! Great mom and pop and daughter run business. Use to go with my dad and loved the service from the mom. Went back and the daughter is running the show, importantly quality is still good. Fresh chicken and great teriyaki sauce that's not drenched in sugar. The Blue Finn offers daily weekday lunch specials at very reasonable prices. The Staff is friendly and accommodating, that's why I feel terrible for having to say the food just isn't good. On this visit I ordered the Teriyaki Chicken. It was nothing special. The chicken was plentiful but lacking in flavor and seemed to have been quickly immersed in sauce, but no grilling or carmelization. I went for chicken fried rice bowl which is made with dark meat so she suggested teriyaki vegetable bowl white is supposed to made with with white meat but it looks like dark meat with that teriyaki sauce all over it and too much fat which is why I hate dark meat. The veggies are alright, they're only steamed any way! The veggies are good but I don't like Teriyaki at all, why do people like it!
