Blue Daisy is just the best hidden gem in Santa Monica. If you haven't had the pleasure of having breakfast at Blue Daisy you are missing out! The service is fast, friendly and the restaurant is really cute. The pancakes are delicious and the latte's are just as tasty.
Blue daisy exemplifies an aesthetic, overpriced, and mediocre at best brunch experience. I came on a Sunday around 12 and was seated right away. I was seated outside with a view of a busy road intersection, which made for nice people watching. The menu didn't have any stand-out dishes that you couldn't find at any other brunch place and there were barely any savory vegetarian options. I went with the Napa scramble. The scramble itself was very heavy on the spinach and light on the sun-dried tomatoes, which made for a not great texture and duller flavor. I did appreciate the bites with the creamy, tangy goat cheese. The toast was just ok and the strawberry jam it came with was very runny. I did enjoy the fresh greens on the side that were lightly dressed.
Delicious brunch and very friendly atmosphere!!! I loved all the matcha latte options and the croissant french toast.
The food had great presentation and the portions are generous. The service was attentive but the lit hhen disregard requests and it took too long for the food and drinks to come out. Also there is no parking and the restaurant is way to small so the wait is long. The ambiance was ok as it is a busy location

Found this place on yelp and the reviews was great and that helped us find a breakfast place nearby Guerlain Wellness Spa where we have our spa appointment today. From walking in, I could sense a good-positive vibe that this place was legit-good. Customer service was spectacular. Waiter who helped us did a great job serving our table. Their coffee is great...it's not your typical watered-down coffeen it's actually potent and good. They have a great selection of drinks from coffee to lattes and other the types of drinks. My wife ordered lavender latte and she LOVED. Oh, and my coffee was great and loved the lil touch of the small lil cookie that came with my coffee... very thoughtful and going the extra steps to make my coffee experience through the roof-good and it's the lil things in food service that I greatly appreciate and sounds off my customers service bell like how they have it at Home Depot. I would definitely recommend this place and I would definitely come back to try other items like lunch time and pancakes. Love the ambience of the place and the surrounding area is nice and clean...well, it's Santa Monica once of the nicest neighborhoods in Cali...thank God. We both order avacados toast as we wanted something light and filling as we have a couple's message in an hour...perfect choice if message is your next item on your agenda. This place blew my mind. I've had many avacados toast in my life and this is one of my favorite things I like to eat for breakfast and this by far the best one I ever ate besides my homemade avacados toast. Love the break they used to...a lot like a cranberry sorodough that was slight crunchy and soft. Loved the perfect amount of greens that made it so easy to grab and get a nice full bites and still taste the lil freshness from the greens and the feta cheese with the pistachio which I think was brilliant addition and first time ever had pistachios...cause the creamy-nutty-and the flavor of the pistachio took this simple avacado toast to a whole another level with that balsamic vinaigrette tanginess and I believe there was honey too...bunch of different flavors brings a great combination into this delicious bite. And to add that over easy egg on top...man I was in heaven with every bite of this avotoast. Thank you for an amazing breakfast and we would love to come back whenever we're in Santa Monica. After trying the Melrose location I wanted to try Santa Monica! The area is super cute and not too hard to find meter parking, even for Sunday brunch. The vibe is really pretty, though some tables are a bit challenging to fit a larger party of 6. There were suuuuper cute outdoor plants in the middle of the tables so it was hard to see and hear the whole party. Thankfully, the staff were so nice and accommodating and let us move to a booth where we could combine tables! The team here were really friendly and food service was very fast - I'd come back just for the excellent service. The menu, however, has a lot of fun options! I ordered a pumpkin spice latte for the spirit of the season and the mango chicken salad, which was so refreshing and paired so well with the avocado and mustard dressing!
Meh. It's a cute outdoor patio, French vibes. However, you're really just looking out on a busy intersection of cars. We did not do the $29 bottomless mimosa offer, but that's a great deal. Service was ok, it wasn't super busy while we were here. I had the pistachio matcha, which was delicious. The menu left a little bit to be desired. I saw the ricotta berry crepe on Yelp, but they don't have it anymore. Nearly all of the sweet crepe/pancake/french toast items involved banana, which doesn't please everyone in my group. I ended up getting the strawberry and banana nutella crepe, which was exactly as it sounds. Those are the ingredients. It was good, but nothing special. I would come back here in a pinch, but believe there are other brunch options nearby that are more innovative at the same price point.

This cute little cafe in Santa Monica is nice spot for a little breakfast, coffee or brunch. Offering crepes, eggs, avocado toast, cocktails, and espresso drinks, there are options for everyone. I had the shakshuka, which fell short (lacking Zatar and Mediterranean flavors I was hoping for.) All in all, I would not go back unless I lived in the neighborhood.
Perfectly average. Decent food but everything is over $15. The service is also unreasonably slow. Took me an hour to get my food on a weekday for lunch. Chicken shawarma wrap: 8/10 Chicken was tender and plentiful. I liked the cut up vegetables too. It needed a little something else though because it was kind of dull. Maybe another sauce to make it less dry as well.
This place was a solid brunch, nothing special, I'd say though. The croissant french toast was what you'd expect, very sweet, and very good to be honest. If you have a sweet tooth in the mornings, it's for you! The drink I got was a baklava iced latte, unfortunately the ice had melted all the ice when I got it. So half the drink was warm and the very top had a little ice left. Not what you'd want in a nicer latte. It tasted fine though and the waitress brought me an extra cup of ice to pour it in. The salmon eggs Benedict was solid. The zucchini hashbrowns were actually one of the best things we had lol. It was a side for the eggs Benedict. The matcha was satisfactory. I'm not a matcha guy but my fiancé liked it fine. Not her favorite or anything. The bacon crepe was rather overcooked and dry. Not what you'd want from a crepe. Though it was generously stuffed with eggs bacon and cheese, which all went well together of course. Overall this place is worth trying because of their unique lattes and sides, just maybe not an all out brunch!
I would say this is one of my favorite breakfast options in Santa Monica and in West LA in general. They have some really unique menu items and the inside has a really great atmosphere along with great service. We were lucky enough to find a metered street spot directly in front of the restaurant and did not have to wait long at all for our Saturday morning brunch for a table of two. Our server was also very polite and everything that we ordered came out very fast. I started off with the Iced Maple Latte and thought it was really nice. It was a really sweet treat and I enjoyed it. For my breakfast, I chose the Eggs Benedict with the Sujuk sausage and added avocado and croissant. It was one of the best combos I've had in a long time and I am already eager to go back again to get it. I would highly recommend to everyone and would happily say this is one of my favorite breakfast options around. read more

We were greeted at the door by what seems to be like the man in charge while the hostess looked for seats and he was lovely. and that's about where the good experience ended. We agreed to outside patio seating at tall seats which is more than fine. but we were sat at a shared table with a family which is fine when you have context that you are doing so, but i spent the beginning of the morning listening to two different children play of their phones blasting the sound. additionally both the seats we were in were directly in the sun which for me is fine but my bf burns very easily. but okay fine, it is what it is. We politely waited until the table next to us emptied, and then told the waitress we would like to move because the sun. She said we would need to wait and she would need to check. And then came back and told us they were too busy. We watched the seat we wanted to sit in be empty until we asked for boxes for our food. We watched another table stay empty until we left. The waitress never introduced herself either. Additionally, no one checked up on us during the entire meal. Usually any sit down restaurant would ask how your meal is. No one did. we weren't even given silverware when our meals arrived. we had to go get them ourselves. We had to ask for boxes after sitting and waiting for anyone to check in. We separately had to call out to the oblivious waitress to even pay, as she was standing out there just looking around. The food was great, like i wish we would have had cash to tip the cooks themselves bc the food was really good. But Ive attached photos of the food (great!) and photos of the many empty tables that made them sooo busy they cldnt accommodate the paying costumers that already ordered. my boyfriend and I have both worked in the service industry before. But i would just say that they had horrible service which can ruin a perfectly good meal. I hope if the owner is the one I met at the door, he considers getting new waitresses . read more

Blue Daisy in Santa Monica looks the part. The location on Broadway is charming, the decor is cute and well done, and the outdoor seating with fringed umbrellas gives it a breezy California vibe that draws you in. Unfortunately the experience didn't live up to the setting. We ordered the Breakfast Burrito ($20) and the Breakfast Combo ($20) and waited about 30 minutes for the food to arrive. The burrito came with eggs, bacon, meatsauce, tomatoes, onions, cilantro, mix cheese and a side of salsa and fries. The combo came with eggs, bacon, French toast and fruit -- and honestly the bacon was the highlight of the dish, which says a lot about how the rest of it landed. Both plates were average at best -- lacking flavor and nothing you couldn't find at any neighborhood breakfast spot for considerably less money. The Breakfast Combo was on the smaller side for the price, and the seasoned fries, while fine, were nothing special. Then came the situation that truly ruined the experience. Our food had literally just been set down in front of us when our waitress informed us she was leaving her shift and that we needed to pay immediately -- citing "company policy." We had just received our food. We hadn't even taken a bite. We complied, paid, and she left. The whole interaction felt deeply uncomfortable -- as if she assumed we weren't going to pay, which was both insulting and embarrassing. We flagged down the manager, who was standing just six feet away, and explained what had happened. To his credit he tried to rectify the situation, but by that point the damage was done. We were embarrassed, uncomfortable, and just wanted to leave. What should have been a relaxed breakfast in a beautiful setting turned into something none of us wanted to linger over. At $20 per plate in Santa Monica you expect bold flavors, generous portions, and service that makes you feel welcome. Blue Daisy delivered none of the three. Pretty spot, deeply disappointing experience. read more

Our favorite new brunch spot ! The service is impeccable! The food is delicious and they do not skimp on their portions. They have a huge menu for food and yummy lattes and iced teas. I got the brunch crepe and a matcha latte. It was delicious. Parking is pretty easy with meters all around. The manager Raphael is hands down the best!! read more

Cute trendy restaurant. Serving breakfast and brunch items. We ordered the Napa scramble and fruit bowl. Everything was fresh and presented well. The star of the show was the Americano coffee and freshly squeeeEd orange juice. Full bodied and fresh the way we like it. We were seated right away. It did take a little while to order. Stopped by on a Sunday morning it was a great experience. We were seated right away. I ordered a bacon croissant and waffles, both were delicious; you can taste the quality in ingredients & are fresh. The best part for me was the freshly squeezed Oj. Waiter was friendly and attentive. They also have a counter top bar if you want to dine indoors. Only street meter parking is available and garage parking near the area. read more

Food is MID. And expensive. I got eggs Benedict with "house" patties. One egg yolk was overcooked. Patties were dry and full of pepper. Potatoes were barely warm. The next time I ordered Salmon Bagel - very average, good amount of salmon, gross raw onions. This is the type of bagel I can make myself at home without any cooking experience. And I ve tried better ones. The interior is cool, the place is loved by locals, I see people coming there. Service was good too. But the food is average and price is high. Not recommended read more
Solid little spot for coffee and breakfast. Wandered over here since I was in the area taking care of some things, and glad i stopped in! To start they have a nice little outdoor area to sit in with your party, and the staff here are all super nice! I've been seeing Turkish Coffee over socials, and wanted to go ahead and try that here. I'm not sure if theyre making it in the sand like they do in the videos but I got the turkish latte, and this thing is massive, but to go with that massive size is this thing is all flavor and delicious. If im in the area im stopping by to get this every time. I did end up getting some food as well. the Eggs benedict was top notch. Straight forward, perfectly poached eggs and a hollandaise sauce full of flavor. Glad I stopped in here. Really good place for breakfast or coffee, and an overall vibe. Blue Daisy is the perfect spot for a breakfast/brunch in Santa Monica. We got the Nutella crepe to share, which was really tasty. I got the bacon croissant sandwich and it was amazing--crispy bacon, flaky croissant, and fresh avocado & tomato as well. The baklava latte was super good too, as it had the perfect amount of sweetness to it. Our server was very friendly and we loved our table outside. We will definitely be going back again read more

This spot has become one of our favorite places for breakfast in Los Angeles. The atmosphere is warm, cozy, beautifully decorated, and always spotless. From the moment you walk in, you feel relaxed and welcomed -- it's the kind of place that instantly puts you in a good mood and makes the whole morning feel special. The service is consistently excellent. Everyone on the team is friendly, attentive, and genuinely cares about creating a great experience. Found Blue Daisy on yelp while searching for brunch in SaMo. Arrived at the restaurant around 10:30 am and it was pretty empty, we were allowed to choose where we wanted to sit. We spotted a door leading to an outdoor patio area so we decided to seat ourselves there. Instead of physical menus, there are QR codes you scan to view online. After ordering, it took around 15 minutes to get our food. Our server was the sweetest and very friendly. We ordered the Napa Scramble, Zatar Eggs and a half order of pancakes. My friend who normally orders eggs / scrambles for breakfast said the Napa scramble was solid. I really enjoyed the zaatar eggs, it was a nice twist to incorporate Turkish sausage. Pancakes were pretty much your normal pancakes -- met my expectations. Overall the food didn't disappoint and we were glad we picked Blue Daisy, though I think the nice weather + cute outdoor seating played a big role in my impression. The total came out to be around $70 after tip, a bit steep but also pretty on par for brunch I suppose. Would totally recommend for a cute outing with friends, especially the outdoor patio seating! read more

A very average brunch place. The food was alright but way too overpriced. Nothing special. The ambience was okay. The furniture was a little scuffed up and wobbly. The service was good. But overall not worth it. I think the burrito was $18 and the shakshuka $16 so way too much for the taste and quality read more

This is my favorite breakfast/brunch place in Santa Monica. The service is great and staff is friendly. The food was tasty and delicious. Iced baklava Latte was my favorite. Ham Panini was tasty and great breakfast sandwich before swimming in the ocean. Ambiance is perfect and its my place to go every time I am down there. read more

Hi! Yes I believe this is a family friendly place we did see two babies in stroller in the outside sitting area and I would imagine they have high chairs as well. They hightop tables would not work for high chairs but they have plenty of regular…
