Great food overall, efficient/attentive service, and cozy ambiance. Great for either casual or date vibes.

You have to go here. Casual or fancy. You can choose the vibe. They have a classic bar menu that can be a classy dinner. Sit and enjoy. The service is respectful and fun. You will feel like you are special and that's why you went out to spend your bucks, right? Oh, and it's cashless only. So if you don't want the government to know where you ate, make someone else pay.

We had a nice evening. The staff was kind and friendly. The food was ok, but the menu was small and didn't have much variety on it. The cocktails were ok. The cookies were really tasty. Fresh out of the oven. With so many great restaurants nearby, this wouldn't be on my must return list.

We were seated so fast even without reservation and dinner time. Maybe we got lucky but we def was seated at a great spot in corner. One quick observation is that it is quite dark in here to make the sort of café, looking like place look a bit more romantic. Lighting is so important and I think they really did a good job at it. It's not a very upscale dressing place, but you could if you want. Service was very attentive and so very friendly. Everybody had a beautiful smile on their beautiful faces and the food came out just a tad bit slow so they gave us another cup of fries on the house. The fries are so good, but I wish the portion was bigger for the price of it. I got the Asian noodle salad, which was just supreme and so good with the dressing toss in it. The chicken sandwich is so good and is a must try for every newcomer because the chicken is so moist!! We will be back even though the bill was about $100 with just a soda, no alcohol in bill. I don't know how that happened!

Came here Sunday 1130 and was seated immediately. Staff was very nice and service was efficient. The dining room is nice, it does get crowded but people are enjoying their meals here. We had the crispy chicken sandwich which is cut into 3 so it's pretty big, also the sunny side was perfect- a waffle topped with ham and sunny side up egg. The chicken and noodle salad was very nicely dressed with a delicious peanut dressing with mango! Will definitely be back.

I truly enjoy dining here for the chicken spaghetti; the sauce is incredibly delicious and flavorful. The restaurant is always bustling, creating a lively atmosphere. It's very clean, the server is wonderfully friendly, and the location is incredibly convenient, just around the corner from Louis Vuitton with a parking structure directly across the street. I appreciate the quick and friendly service, perfect for a fast meal.

All dishes are carefully crafted with its colorful details, and its simple but bold flavors prepared for you through an open kitchen. This place gets busy the minute they open their doors so make reservations prior. 1. Korean Aguachile: fresh tilefish sashimi with finely sliced cucumber and white floral decor simmered in ice cold kimchee broth they pour at the table. Soooo good. Must order. 2. Soy Marinade Blue Prawn: My favorite dish of the night. Huge raw blue prawns (head attached) marinaded with soy sauce. Served with barley rice topped with Ssam jang (type of bean paste sauce), and seaweed paper. You wrap all ingredients in the seaweed paper to make a hand roll. Soooooo delicious. Can't walk out without trying this. 3. Beef short ribs: good but nothing unique in its flavoring . Beef steak(medium rare and super tender) that's lightly marinaded/glazed (so not overly sweet) with kbbq/short rib sauce. This is one of their fan favorites so I suggest you try it.. 4. Chilled Acorn Noodles: chewy cOLD noodles made with acorn (just like the acorn jelly side dish we eat). The noodles are seasoned with Korean Cho-go-chu-jang (Gochujang paste), crispy cucumber slices, loads of dried seaweed flakes, and perilla oil. And you just mix them all together. Sooo good and paired well with the short ribs. Incredible. 5. Bluefin tuna and trout Bibimbop: like a poke bowl but so much better. Rice at the bottom with loads of lettuce strips, bluefin tuna sashimi, radish slices, and cavier. Seasoned with Korean Cho-go-chu jang (Gochujang paste with a twist of vinegar). Very good as well. For drinks we tried the shikhye slush (shikhye is a Korean sweet rice drink dessert). They used a slushy shikhye base with warm cinnamon and ginger spices and pisco for a kick. Also tried the Sujinggwa manhattan which is sujunggwa (traditional Korean cinnamon ginger dessert tea served cold) and a single malt. This was fabulous. Overall fantastic experience. Fantastic food, cool ambiance's. And great service. Highly highly recommend this place!

Tables looked available around 5pm though so walk-ins could be possible. Ambiance: Outside was nice and inside looked dimly lit and romantic. We were seated promptly and service was good. Food: Rice slushy had a strangely strong cinnamon-like taste to it that traditional rice punch doesn't have which was so overpowering, it made it difficult to go back for more sips. Oysters - good though small, enjoyed the kelp mignonette Korean Aguachile - Delicate tilefish completely overwhelmed by cold kimchi broth with actual icy slush in it and small amounts of fish Steak Tartare - The hot stone bowl seemed to defeat the purpose of a tartare, as it cooked the steak once mixed. The perilla leaves were also cut in large strips relative to the beef. Chilled Acorn Noodle - The perilla oil was nonexistent in flavor though the dish didn't need it and was good without. Overall, portions were small for the price and dishes weren't well-executed so despite being excited for more Korean options in West LA, I'd much rather make the drive to Koreatown for better portions, prices, and flavors.

But what really stood out was the hospitality. We were celebrating our Anniversary and Valentine's Day, and I had arranged to have flowers delivered to the restaurant earlier in the day so they'd be waiting on the table as a surprise for my wife. The staff was kind enough to accommodate the request and have them set up before we arrived. Unfortunately, the delivery driver accidentally dropped the flowers off at the other Hermanito location on Sawtelle! I assumed the surprise was ruined. Then the hostess came up to me and said, "Don't worry... our manager is driving over there now to pick them up and bring them back." I couldn't believe it. Sure enough, just as I was finishing my first Japanese Old Fashioned, Gilbert (the manager) walked in with the bouquet and completely surprised my wife. Absolute save. Huge thanks to Gilbert and the entire staff for going above and beyond to make the night so special. (I wish I remembered the names of our wonderful server and the incredible hostess who helped coordinate everything!) Thank you both too. As for the food: the Oaxacan Queso Fundido, Bao Buns and Pork Cutlet were five stars. We'll definitely be back to explore more of the raw bar and tacos. The menu is huge and I want to try it all. Not even 10 minutes later, the waitress came to sit us at a lovely table right by the water without being outside -- score! 2. The food is so freaking good. The beauty of Mediterranean food is that it's perfect to share with large groups. Because I had some fellow vegetarians (and veg friendly people) with me, ordering was quite fun. We almost ordered every vegetarian mezze, which included: Mezze sampler: the Muhammara was my favorite of them all and the naan was amazing. Very soft, but flavorful. Sprouted cauliflower: interesting way they made it. Golden tahini had a nice touch. Pickled vegetables: loved them Greek fries: can't go wrong with that Roasted sweet potato: surprisingly quite good and a very different palate from the fries. Baked feta: interesting, but this wasn't a fan favorite amongst the group. While our non-vegetarian colleagues enjoyed the octopus, we were nearly full with just the mezze. We decided to go ahead and order the mushroom skewers while the other side enjoyed the tomahawk. Everyone was full after all this food. The cocktails kept flowing. I stuck with just one Urfa mezcalita while enjoying the views for the remainder of the night. This lasted until dessert where plenty were ordered. I got a chocolate gelato not realizing I'd get two scoops. Sadly I could only finish one scoop. Anyhow, there are heaters all over the rooftop so that people can enjoy throughout the year. They do have to crank it up as needed, but it's there. Can't mention price much because this was work sanctioned, but it was a great decision.
