The St Augustine store basically took advantage of us. Sold us a RV that was completely rusted. Unfortunately I had surgery before the final inspection and the didn't address the situation to my wife. They is no way that this camper would pass any dot . Thanks for taking advantage of us , how is this even legal ?

Great guys! Had a need for sealant to repair seals on my camper. They were super helpful on a Sunday before the rain. Very knowledgeable on how to apply the stuff before the rain. 5 Stars!

On 11/8/23, I bought a used travel trailer at Blue Compass in Lexington, South Carolina, my first camper. A month after buying it, when I was installing a brake controller, I discovered that the brakes don't work because the cable connecting the camper brakes to the wiring harness has been cut and carefully wrapped around a part of the trailer frame under the camper. I contacted Blue Compass and left four messages over the course of a week before my call was returned. The sales manager and service manager, neither of whom were present at the time of the sale, said that a camper would never leave the lot with a brake wire cut, so it happened after it left and offered these explanations for how this cut happened: (1) While I was driving from the dealer to my house something cut the wire and it wrapped itself around the frame. (2) Someone climbed the 6' privacy fence and locked gates in my backyard, crawled under the camper and vandalized it by cutting the wire and carefully wrapping it around the trailer frame. After I apologized for sounding frustrated (imagine that) the sales manager finally admitted that those stories were too ridiculous to take seriously and agreed to repair the camper but would not agree to do this at no cost (he said, "We'll take care of you"), despite the insistence that a 150 Point Checklist was completed guaranteeing at the camper was free of mechanical problems. I was never shown the checklist. I agreed to do this, but told the sales manager that I had learned that it is illegal to pull a 3000#+ camper without brakes in South Carolina, and I would be liable if there was an accident. He transferred me to the service manager to arrange a tow vehicle to bring it there. The service manager said that she would not do this because she did not want to assume the liability but if I wanted to take the risk I was welcome to do it. I told her this was the sales manager's idea, and I would need her to transfer me back to him to see where we went from there. She said he was now at lunch and he would call me back. He did not call back. I'm done with this place, and have found a local mechanic who will repair the brakes. My advice: DO NOT BUY FROM BLUE COMPASS.

We did a quick walk thru with a technician and found various issues. No appliances run for us. Upon delivery the unit was filthy and dark streaked whereas was promised to be washed. Inside also dirty. We paid to have it washed. We put out the slideouts and found electric outlets still not working, crooked barn doors, and other issues found at walk thru. We turned in THE A/C at thermostat and it did not come in. Called CWN.Jax and was told by the "service manager" he heard it run. Called Coleman/Mach the AC manufacturer and thru video link after removing bottom cover a tech said it could not have worked it was missing a harness. We called CWN.Jax and they sent a tech. He wired in a harness and the AC came on...we left and came back unit was 66° inside set at 74°. Called CWN.Jax and a tech came out, asked to borrow a screwdriver & flashlight . Said he was returning to CWN.Jax with his diagnosis. We called next day and could never get the service manager again. Asked should we get a lawyer (brand new camper) and CWNJ ax refused to talk to us after that and other repairs never fixed. Thankfully I contacted Forest River who sent a tech who determined the brand new thermostat was NOT brand new. We still have missing items and issues but are working with Forest River since Camping World N.Jax abandoned us after paying cash. They could not comprehend our unpleasant demeanor after receiving it in this condition We love the Foresr River Salem Cruise Lite 22veranda just highly disappointed in such an expensive purchase customer service.

I got a call back from Shelley, she pretty fast started sending over pictures and getting me excited about the van. Answered all my questions through out the day. I put a deposit down and did all the credit stuff. I was approved and they were going to deliver the Van, but I got a bit nervous. They are on the other side of the United States. I am in California. So I ended up flying over there because it's a lot of money and you never know. To start off Sunshine's "Cole" picked me up with in 5 mins of landing. We had a nice ride over. When I got to their property everything was clean, washed, and in order. It looked like they had control of their RV's. Some lots have everything open and it's like Disneyland for family's kids. So I was very impressed. Cole took me in and introduced me to their Revel specialist "Corey". This guy knows everything about the rig. We started from one end and touched pretty much every part of the van in a very prepared way. It seemed like he really had a game plan on how to cover it so it made sense and stayed with you. He didn't bounce around. I then sat down with "Ritchie" I think he is the finance manager. Super nice guy. He got me a great price on a top to bottom warranty. Which I almost never buy, but when it makes sense it just does. Couple small touches, they knew my daughter would be riding with my wife and I so they had already bought us the luno bed for her to have a mattress to sleep on. Then they also gave us the surge protector for the van. A bunch of starter stuff as well. My favorite is the custom coffee cup which fits perfect in the cup holder. They didn't have to do any of the extra special things but it was very much appreciated. All in all an amazing experience. I really feel we went with the best dealer. They are honest and fair and take pride in the product they sell. The Van was seriously spotless. If you have the chance to go down and meet these great people it's awesome. If for some reason you buy online and have them deliver it. You are truly in good hands. Jeff from California

If you already know for sure which manufacturer:platform that you want to buy BEFORE you visit this…read morelocation, then this is the place for you. If you are totally unsure and need all of the valuable info and opportunities to drive the vehicles to get the feel, then this place is NOT for you. I drove down from PA because they supposedly had a lot of class B's. I couldn't decide which one I wanted. I had narrowed down that I required a Mercedes for comfort, but was trying to decide the manufacturer/platform. I was told that I could only test drive one RV because all Mercedes are the same even though they are on different manufacturers/platforms. This is a huge purchase and different platforms are not all the same even if they are on a Mercedes chassis. If I wanted to drive three different platforms then you should have allowed this. I was allowed to only drive literally 4 blocks around in the area without the opportunity to see what rattles if I drive faster and longer. This is why I left and did not make my purchase with you. The only good thing is that they did have a good example of different manufactures and this is why they are receiving a 3 instead of a 1 or 2 rating from me. However, had to wait for someone to unlock though so that's time consuming. Should have unlocked in the morning, and lockup at closing.

So, we can put our slide out when we use our RV go camping. The jacks have to be down for the slide to open. The first time we took it over there to look at the Jack's was on November 26th 2025. We took the RV out this past weekend. May 1 to the 3rd. We've had it out several times before that and the Jack's really never did work properly. This time when we started the RV the control panel was blinking off and on and making a noise and a housing of the control panel was really loose. I have made several calls into the dealer, and they have never ever returned my telephone calls. I even called and left the manager several messages and to this day he still has not called me back. On Monday morning, May 4th, I called general RVs headquarters in Michigan. They said they would put a note in try to call the dealership, but they had 48 hours to respond back to them. As of today, May 8th, I still have not received a call. I called the headquarters yesterday which was Thursday several times, and they kept telling me every time I called that they have 48 hours to respond. I asked for the supervisor and they told me they didn't have one. We have spent thousands to try to get this resolved. They even put in a new control panel and still does not work. At this point our RV is useless, because we can't use it because we can't get a slide out. I was wondering if you could reach out and help?? Cheryl
