My husband and I had our toy hauler repaired at the Ormand Beach location on January 23, 2026. The repair of our roof was amazing with no issues. I would like to mention a young lady in the office named Heidi, she was very accommodating, answered all questions and followed up on our calls. She was a tremendous help, very knowledge, very professional and courteous. I notified her of damage to our front inside door, sent her picture of damage and stated she will notify the parts department. When I said something about the build quality, the sales lady said she would take a Winnebago RV over an Airstream any day. This lady is delusional! Very rude and not willing to help at all. Their rating should be lower than 2 stars. Stopped in to browse while currently in the market to purchase a new travel trailer. Salesman at the front said we needed to sign in first. I told him nicely that I don't want to give my information, we just want to look. He said for "liability purposes" we couldn't walk around their property without signing in (which is legally a complete lie as a public place of business). I replied, "No problem, we can just shop elsewhere". He said "Okay, no problem". As I walked out the door I said I looked forward to spending my money somewhere else. He said "Great!" This place would much rather have your personal info to badger you or sell to a 3rd party than make a sale. On our way to another dealership as I type this review to see if they want our money instead! I got completely taken advantage of during the purchase of my RV as a first time buyer. During a phone call I was told "I'm going to go ahead and get your tires and paint protected for you". which was said in a way that made it sound like a complementary service. What was not explained was that this was an optional add on of $4,000 which was then added to my purchase price. I was NEVER asked if I wanted it done and they NEVER disclosed the costs to me at any point until it was too late for me to do anything about it. Disgraceful to be so manipulative and deceptive about additional costs. read more

This past Saturday, Feb 22, I was desperate for two leveling ramps as I'd forgotten to pack them before leaving for my campsite at Tomoka State Park. I stopped at the Giant Recreation World at Destination Daytona in Ormand Beach just after 3PM knowing they didn't close til 6. Upon entering I was greeted by a very nice hostess and asked if there was a parts and RV accessory store as all I could see entering was a showroom. I used hand gesture pointing downward with my fingers and was greeted by a gentleman named Tracy who mockingly repeated my gesture and said there was such a department but it closed at 2PM. I explained I it was an emergency as I knew my site at Tomoka was notoriously not level. He said I could return Monday morning at 9AM. I said "sure, I'll just go set up at my campsite, put the slides and awning out,not level, tables, chairs, etc...then Monday I can break it all down, drive back to your store for the levelers, drive back to Tomoka and set up all over again. Gee thanks, Tracy, you're a real peach of a guy!" The parts I need are literally fifty feet away and he won't do a good deed for a camper in need! Not only that, but he then condescendingly suggests I can try Walmart which I already know doesn't carry them or I wouldn't have stopped at GRW in the first place! Great customer service GRW. Brad in sales is great! The service depart on the other hand is terrible! The warranty for life (what a joke) is like most worthless. Took my Rv in for the inspection in 2023 was charged $119 to put down 2 tubes of dicor then in 2024 inspection another $119 to put down 1 tubes of dicor. Now either the tech before didn't know what he was doing or this place is a scam, I truly believe it's a scam!! Propane side of hot water not working but I have warranty for life haha was charged $102 to tighten a nut. Do yourself a favor and stay far far away from this dealership!!! read more

Let me preface this with this: I have never written a negative review. I always find something good that keeps me from doing one. But this experience has made me lose sleep so I have to vent. I found a Motorhome on RV Trader that we were interested in. I made an appointment to come look at the unit. We drove our trade in Motorhome to the dealership. The sales manager inspected our trade. And came back with a us low trade in of $40.5k. We said no. He came up $4k which was still lower than I expected but we signed a sales agreement and put a no refundable down payment of $5k. I wish we could have drove the vehicle off the lot that day. But they said we would have to come back in a week so they could get the unit ready. When we returned the sales manager said our unit was in worse shape then he expected, even though he had 100% access the week before to inspect our trade in. He said it would cost him $8k to fix our unit to be able to sell it. He offered to split the difference and wanted us to pay $4k more down payment. We decided to do this deal. But on our drive home I realized that we had a sales agreement signed by us and the sales manager. That should have been binding. Especially since he had already inspected our motorhome the week before. I believe this is not the first time this sales manager has pulled this on unsuspecting customers. Oh and the unit that he said had $8k worth of repairs before he could sell it was put back on the within two day at 12k more than they paid to us. This is very unethical business practice. #1 We had 2 back-to-back blow outs on drop off day that put us WAY past time. They allowed us to drop it off the next day & leave keys with front desk along with our list of things needing fixed. I was very skeptical when they hadn't started on it until the 2nd wk of having it being that we only had a 2wk time frame because of my husband's job & us living fulltime in it. Once they began, they worked hand-in-hand w/ our insurance adjuster. #2 Thank GOD they found what they did. The insulation was peeking out on 1 side by the tires. I assumed it was from the blow out on that side & just needed to be tucked back up. They found out that we had had a busted pipe that had leaked 100gallons of water into our insulation, which was why our floor was actually bowing. NOBODY could even tell it was water damage causing our floor to bow! Not even the adjuster! There were no signs of water damage or a leak! We are so thankful they didn't just pin the spot back up & keep moving. #3 i brought our 2yo with me to go get some pots out of the trailer so we could stay in an extended stay while the repairs are being done. The service manager actually gave full attention to our son while he jibber jabbered in concern to him. He took him very seriously & it made my son's day! For somebody to stop & take time out of their lunch/busy day to acknowledge my child the way he did, won me over. #4 i didn't even think about needed a measuring cup or can opener, etc. So i called back the next day to come get the list of things i didn't realize I'd need. They told me that of i couldn't get in to get them, that they would give us whatever they could that they had there at the store. THIS is the type of service you give to a misplaced family!!!!! These are the people you should give your time & money to. They will help you as much as they possibly can. I will always refer people to them & as long as we are in or near Daytona, they will get our service. Thank you so much for everything.! Beside having a huge selection of very nice recreational vehicles they have a very experienced and knowledgeable sales staff that fully understands the investment required to purchase their products. The old story is true when you are buying you see a big difference then when you need service. My "Forever Warranty " that they offer means nothing if you can't get them to warrant the work that you have paid them to do. We had a flat tire in their parking lot and they refused to put the spare on. The tire issue turned out to be a defective valve stem. A salesman was there and brought us water and couldn't believe service would do nothing to help. I had new tires changed from my trade in when we bought the new trailer, later I see where they jacked up on the equalizer and damaged it. They installed slide toppers and they were installed wrong. Sorry to see that kind of service. They were given a chance to call and discuss but no answer. Coachman took care of the toppers, but not the dealership! read more

I would not recommend ordering any parts from this establishment we ordered a fan blade for our roof air conditioner at this point we are running on one air conditioner it's almost July in Florida and we are so hot, we waited for several days to get this part my husband had been in the very day that the part was supposed to be delivered the representative in the parts department told my husband that it would be in around 4 o'clock that same day we got a call from that same person he told us that our part did come in but it was left on the truck and never delivered as far as I am concerned these people do not give a flip. read more

Went here due to their reviews on internet. Went over estimate with fine tooth comb and had to forgo other repairs to get what was necessary done first. Got the bill and was $800 over what we discussed in detail. Went ahead with these items without our authorization after they fixed them. Not cool. So DO NOT sign a blank authorization...I learned a lesson and next time will put any charge over x amount MUST be cleared before going ahead. Helpful staff but they need to be more considerate of other people's finances which we made clear beforehand. We met the mechanic and he was very good and went over the whole RV with us. Although we ultimately did not purchase our coach from here, we did shop here and only went elsewhere because they did not have what we were looking for available. We have since been back several times-at least 5- for service work and I am pleased with our experiences and the quality of work. The treatment I have received at the service center will be what drives me back to the sales center. They actually treat people like they want to keep your business, seems to be a rarity in this business lately. After we bought our travel trailer from another facility and was unable to get warranty work done correctly, we brought it in to Giant Rec World in Ormond. From previous experience, their service department is dependable. Our expectations were exceeded by the wonderful care by our service rep Julie D. She worked hard to get the manufacture to honor their manufacturing quality standards. In a time when parts were scarce and in fact, nonexistent; she made things happen! Kept us updated and although we missed camping trips, it was worth getting the job done right. Julie has amazing skills and we highly recommend her service department for all repairs from minor manufacturing defects to major slide out seal replacements. read more

BEWARE of this place. There a bunch of scamming people. I went in to upgrade to a bigger camper from the one I just purchased from the salesman Jerry only 3 months prior. I found one and wanted to put a$100 deposit but this time he insisted on$500, I thought was strange because on my first camper only 3 months prior I didn't have to put any deposit down. I explained to Jerry that I didn't want my payment to be over 400 a month. They came in over my wanted amount, I told him I can't swing that and wanted my deposit back, Jerry Schiller told me that it was not there policy to return deposits. This practice is bullshit. I live quite a distance from their facility so it was not going to be possible for me to drive there and convince them I was serious to get a good price. This was not an issue at all. I had a friend stop by who was In town and Kyle helped her and gave her space so she could help me virtual tour a camper I liked on their site. When I reached out, Kyle gave me a good price and respected my request to not call while I decided. Through the entire process, Kyle was awesome and would go to him again. The salesman's all in price was very accurate and never changed. The dealership did not have multiple fees and the one fee they did have was disclosed up front by Kyle. At no point was I pressured, given incorrect information or surprised by conditions of the sale price (there were none). The service continued in finance. I was offered a service agreement that seemed reasonably priced but wasn't for me (I'm not a take things into the shop type person) and I got no high pressure about it. Other than that, there was no attempt to sell anything and again it was handled professionally and I had no issue with them offering it. Walkthrough was handled well and my request to have it delivered to my home on a specific day was honored. All in all a smooth easy process from start to finish. read more

Went in there yesterday to look for a small pull behind as a gift Tyler came up to the front never really acknowledging me when he did no smile no hello no nothing acted like he was aggravated that he had to show me campers. During the time that he showed me the one camper, he never even stepped foot into the camper and showed me anything stood outside when I questioned the black leaking from the window as he says all campers do that! Julie was extremely customer focused and honest and because of her, I know we will be back. She returned phone calls, worked hard to track the delivery of parts, and squeezed us into her full schedule to perform the repair. "Customer service" is lost on many businesses but not Julie. Did a rental over a holiday weekend. The unit was great, but the cost outrageous. A quoted $510 turned into $640 when undisclosed fees were added on. If you add cost of gas, and propane the cost was close to $ 300 a day. We did not even incur mileage charges. When I contacted the office to discuss the final bill, I had to call twice to get two different explanations. Won't do this again, especially from this dealership. I give the 1 star to the salesman, Jay, who spent 2 visits with me and helped me narrow my RV search to the perfect one for me. Jay was awesome. The rest of my experience was terrible! The senior sales manager, Mason, decided after I put a deposit down for the RV and bought a backup camera for the unit I purchased, that it was incorrectly priced and made Jay call me on my way home to tell that I could not have the RV I bought for the price we agreed on even though I had pictures of the internet advertisement for the price I paid for the unit I purchased. I have considered turning their business into the Florida attorney generals office for fraud because they can't legally do that. Mason was difficult to deal with during my negotiations for the unit I purchased. Basically he was unprofessional and came across as being too good to deal with me because I am a woman and was purchasing the unit by myself. Like I was a bother to him. I would never do business with this company again. I have never had a deal go so south as this one. And it is not right!! read more

We live in Key West so service can be difficult at times. Trying to get our "Warranty For Life" inspection done has proven extremely difficult in the Keys. Well, I gave Matthew in service call kinda last minute because we were scrambling to get our WFL inspection done in the required time. He said he was able to squeeze us in during our trip. We arrived at 9:00 am and Matt got our unit straight in! We were pressed for time as the campground we were going to that day had a 6 pm cut off for checking in and it was still 4 hours away in Savannah. We made Matt aware of this. Long story short... Matt and the team of techs got us out and back on the road in plenty go time to make our next destination! Fast and courteous!! Everyone we came across in the dealership was extremely courteous and welcoming! read more

LIAR LIAR PANTS ON FIRE The salesman Jay lured me into the dealership with false information. The 5th wheel year make model I went to see did not exist. He then showed me others. None had what I was seeking. Just as I was about to leave he remembers one.. So i agree to see it. I do and I like it. By now it's late and almost closing time and I am ready to go when the manager Phil enters the picture. Pitching reasons to buy it now. He gives me a price, then another. Saying if you give me a check of $1000 and can't get financing I'll hand you your check back. This sounded reasonable. Then he brings me a contract with the box marked deposit nonrefundable . I say I won't sign that unless it clearly states my $1000 is refundable. So he writes on the form deposit subject to finance. .. .. 4 days later my check was DEPOSITED into their account. .. My bank Vystar declined to finance the purchase as did GoodSamRV finance. Per instructions I contacted Jenica to arrange my deposit refund. She tells me they don't refund deposts.! That I signed a contract stating that.! She then stated in order for it to be refundable "I needed to use their finance department". Disgusted at the lies and not willing to just give them my money I faxed my paystubs to her. I did want the 5th wheel after all, but felt that I was being bullied. Initially I chose not to finance through them as the were charging 8.5% interest when New RV finance elsewhere is 4.45%. Today she called with more BS. So I looked up the Florida Laws and starting contacting lawyers to assist with this matter. The sum of this experience is that Giant Recreation World is 98% dishonest. Although the work on my RV was completed it took 7 days (although I had an appointment) and about five lies. First they tell me the motor has to be ordered. Then they tell me Winnebago made an error and there is no access to the motor for our bedroom slide. They were going to cut into the RV which would be very expensive until I told them not to and I would call Winnebago. We went down there during that day to check on our RV and lo and behold they already had the motor out. What happened to the fact they had to order the part? What happened to the fact they had to cut into the RV and Winnebago made a mistake? I will never use their service department again. The woman there also hung up on me when I got upset about the whole situation and would not answer my call again. THEY ALSO RIPPED APART OUR MOLDING WITH THE SLIDE OUT. Literally the worst customer service i have ever had, things seems great until you sign the dotted line. Literally zero service at all. Was told to call to schedule ceramic coat for paint as well as service for cabinets falling off the camper. Spoke with Wes from finance and someone from service to get these schedule together at the beginning of may, was told first opening was June 3 8am. Shocked how far out but agreed to it and was told everything would be handled and i could drop it off the night before. June 2nd showed up and drop off for them, no one there to check in or go over issues. Call June 3rd to let them know the service issues and to see when everything would be done. Have ZERO idea what we are talking about but proclaim nothing will be done this day at all. Literally nothing. I call back and speak with Wendy, she states she would look into it and i don't hear back. Then i call back and she states she will be able to get the ceramic and eco done but nothing else that day. Fast forward to June 7, called again cause we have no word. Wendy states the eco/ceramic will be done by 3pm today, show up 345 and NOTHING WAS done. I literally missed out on a 900$ rental i had booked for this. They took the 2,000$ to do the work but now look, no one wants to do it. I am blown away i spent 40,000 on a brand new camper here, absolutely embarrassing. To add we were referee by my mother in law, they have YET to receive their referral 5 months later. They sure take that money fast and you are forgotten afterwards as i can see with all the other reviews. Beware of this place and do not buy!!!!! read more

I engaged a Giant Recreation World via the online chat feature to inquire about a 6-7 day RV rental for a trip from Daytona Beach, Florida to Fort Worth, TX and back to Daytona Beach, Florida. The online chat representative Don asked me what he could help me with, I explained what I was looking for what the daily rate was and mileage. He asked me for my e-mail address I politely responded that I was shopping around and would prefer not to give that because I didn't want to be bombarded with future emails. He then asked me for my phone number and said no I didn't want to be spammed with future calls. I have rented with them before for the country 500 and had to put up a filter to block the loads of emails I received after my rental and also put the number on block for the same reason. Don posted basically they couldn't help me since this information wasn't given and I could call if I wanted any future information. Great business model! Unfortunately you have to give a minimum 1 star rating or I would give none!!! read more

We were happy with the salesman Tommy from Giant Recreation World Ormond, but not with the service dept. So far they are not convincing me of doing the $300/yr lifetime warranty. Had quit a few items wrong w/the camper when we took it in for the 2nd time. They got some of them fixed but others they say they couldn't duplicate, maybe I'll take them camping w/us next time to show them. They shower head has constantly leaked from the hose connection to the shower head. They couldn't duplicate it. The one cabinet looks crooked and sometimes doesn't close correctly. Couldn't duplicate it. They did fix the w/h, that was easy to duplicate, it didn't work. They did fix other problems, not taking that away from them. But I've had to bring it back twice for the shower hose leaking and the cabinet. Believe me I'm not making this up, I'd rather not have to bring it back after every camping trip. The only one I have seen good cust serv is Julie. Unfortunately sometimes she's too busy to get to her. But again we aren't getting convinced to have the #300/yr maintenance program. You know you pay a lot of money for these campers for these things to continue. Didn't have anyone with me this last time to show the repairs or go thru it like the first time. The guy I spoke with to come a pick it up, left to lunch while I was waiting for my camper to come out. Oh well. read more

This family owned business does not follow their own motto, "Do onto others as you would have them do onto you." We bought a 1999 used RV from them. In making it "road worthy" for us their service department put in a new battery that we later found was not hooked up properly. Going through Atlanta our carbon monoxide detector alarm went off, the back-up camera died, we lost all 12v power. We called them. When the manager finally got back to us his reply was, you bought it used, it is "as is." When we went to pick up our new tag they said there are no manuals RV's are too complicated. We wrote a letter to the owner the son of the founder. No concern for what could have been a tragic accident. read more

Excellent service. Our air conditioner stopped working and they apologized for not being able to get us in until the next day. We had bought our RV from La Mesa in Sanford and they couldn't get us in for 2 1/2 weeks. The people at Giant were wonderful to work with. Our new air conditioner came in the next day and Giant worked well with our extended warranty company. I would highly recommend their service to everyone!! Such a wonderful experience!!! read more

After discovering some damage to our travel trailer we took it in for an evaluation. Wendy checked the camper in and assured that they would check it out. After a few days, Brad the service manager gave me a call with the information. He explained what the damage was, how it happened, and what needed to be done. Brad's expertise in the construction/maintenance and experience in all aspects of causes/solutions was above and beyond. These days being direct and honest goes a long ways for return business.
