We hit something on rainy night on I-95 and resulted in a flat tire. Took it to discount tire in Palm Coast and they inspected it and said it was too damaged to repair. They ordered a new tire and it will be delivered in 1 day. The customer service Billy gave was outstanding and it was while handling numerous other customers on a busy Saturday. I travel a lot and have visited Discount Tires in 3 other states and all have good service. I would say the Palm Coast location is the best. read more

I had a nail in my tire. I went to Discount Tire. They fixed the issue IMMEDIATELY and charged me NOTHING for the repair. I checked on the tire prices and they were EXTREMELY REASONABLE!!!!! Needed tire repair. I've been to this location for tire purchases prior. This Pal Coast location is so unfriendly and there is no sense of urgency for anything. At the very least they could acknowledge you when you walk in. You end up standing in line while this aloof staff just ignores you. I've been to the Greensboro NC location and they are the complete opposite. They jump on you the second you walk in. I really hate Palm. I'm going to try Tire King next time. read more

Woke up Saturday morning to a flat tire. I borrowed a friend's compressor and filled the tire so that I could drive the car. The dealer couldn't squeeze me in, so I went to Discount Tire near Home Depot at 1:30 pm and although they were very busy, they managed to fix my flat tire by 4:30 and also correct the super slow leak in another tire. The nice surprise was when I found out I wasn't being charged. I could understand them fixing the flat for free if I bought the tires from them but that was not the case. The car only has 24K miles, so the tires were from the dealer and not from Discount Tires. I will need tires at some point. Guess where I will be buying them!!! Obviously not the dealer. read more

I had a flat over the weekend and was able to easily schedule an appointment online to fix it Monday morning. Customer service is amazing. Very friendly and helpful. Luckily, they were able to fix it and I didn't need a new tire. I appreciated their honesty because another tire shop in town told me I would definitely need a new tire, I didn't agree and didn't have my repair done there. While they do try to sell you new tires, especially if your tread is low (that is their job), they are not overly pushy. I will be back to this location soon when it is time to purchase all new tires. read more

I came in and he fixed the issue and patch the tire at no charge which really took me by surprise! Besides that I really felt like all the employers respected me and they were all very pleasant and their operation seemed to be running smoothly. Get the warranty yall. I bought a set of four new tires two years ago. Fast forward to this week and I ended up with a nail in the sidewall that couldn't be repaired. The $300 tire was free because I got the warranty. I ended up getting the warranty on the new tire so I was out of pocket $60...that's it. Also, this location has a pretty good inventory. Yesterday early evening (330pm) I was getting ready to leave for work when I realized my tire was shredded. I called and spoke with Angelo who reassured me they would get it fixed for me immediately and to come on in (i have a child and was worried I'd have to wait till morning). I arrived and was taken care of by AJ who walked me through different tire options and prices and never felt pressured to purchase the most expensive brand. He took his time to check every one of my tires and explain their guarantees/warranties to me. I work in a restaurant right in front of the store and wouldn't be able to leave before closing to pick up my car so he took the time to park my car in our parking lot and hand deliver me my keys to me at work when it was finished! For a large company they are generally accommodating and they work with customers based upon price point and affordability. Their quality of service is outstanding and they give free tire pressure checks for anyone who wants them! I didn't give a 5 because I have a car w/wire wheels and ordered new tires for it. I told them it was wire wheels so on the morning of my appointment they greeted me w/Sorry, we can't work on your car due to it not having lugnuts! They said they must be able to torque the wheel back on the car and they couldn't with my spinner tire attachment. I was disappointed because they could have told me prior to ordering the tires and having me drive over there. So I did get my tires elsewhere that morning at a local tire shop. It is sad that as big as they are, they are unaware that wire wheels w/spinners have different spinner patterns on each side of the car and these are all 'self tightening'! Which means you snug them tight and they continue to tighten even more. This has been the case since the 1950's. I suppose their 'liability insurance' sets the rules! In any case, for my other cars, I have depended on them but will likely give the more 'accommodating' tire shop my business going forward. read more

I was in the gas station business a long time ago, and then I had a tool business for 25 years where I went into garages every day. So I notice the little things, like marking where the tire goes before removing it, and cleaning the rust off of the back of the wheel where it fits on the rotor so it seats perfect, guys all had uniforms and they were clean. I called and scheduled an appointment to fix my tire that is leaking air, showed up at my apartment and was greeted by confused employees that didn't know what to do with my vehicle, so I parked went in waited in line for 15 minutes, finally I can check in, why have appointments if you are not taking care of the people with appointments?, stop wasting my time. Then the passive aggressive employee tells me my tread is to low for the tire to be repaired if something is wrong with it, thanks, no device was used no inspection to even see what is going on, no happy, I will not go or recommend this place to anyone. read more

This location is a newer Discount Tire - REALLY clean, attentive staff, GREAT prices and good selection of tires. I was in and out with 4 new tires that I bought at a better price than anywhere else in a hour radius in just under an hour. I watched the work they were doing and their staff are well trained and the sales person and shop manager were both courteous and interested in me getting exactly what I needed for my truck. They also had a good selection of wheels but I decided to keep the stock premium wheels on the truck. Had a nail in my 4 month old new car that could not be plugged. They ordered me a new tire. When the tire arrived 3 days later it was installed. Next day I receive a call from them stating that they forgot to put the donut spare tire that I had been using back in my trunk. (how does that even happen?). I went back this morning to retrieve it. The customer service rep went to look for it, found it and asked me to identify it. I had not installed the donut so I could not be sure. I said I didn't know but it looked like mine. I asked him if he thought it was my spare and his reply was "I don't know, I didn't work on your car". I replied back that I didn't work on it either, I am the customer and I paid to have Discount Tire replace this tire. He took it out to my car, he put it in my trunk. I said thank you to him. He said nothing. I said thank you again and his reply was "yep". No apology, no nothing. My initial dealings when ordering the tire was fine. Being treated this way when they were at fault is unacceptable. They have lost me as a future customer. A simple "I'm sorry for your inconvenience" would have gone a long way .
