Just this week, we had both a sensor issue and an AC problem come up within 24 hours. They were able to fit us into their schedule, complete the repairs quickly, and even waited a little after 5:30 so we could pick up our vehicle after running late from a vet visit. The entire team has always been friendly and welcoming to me and my family. They genuinely take the time to work with you and find solutions that fit your budget. It honestly feels like having a good friend who owns an auto shop and is there to help you get through a stressful repair situation as affordably as possible. They replaced the battery without loss of all of the programming in the car (entertainment systems, etc ). I also voiced concerns about tires. Alignment of front end causing uneven wear, AWD car, tires replaced--but I also wanted a wider tire footprint on my heavy Touota 4Runner to be more confident driving on sand (Beach, etc.). They went to a website, guided me through options & choices until we found what appeared to be the perfect tires. The car now handles better, rides great... The also have competitive oil & filter changing svc AND can rotate tires at the same time which is best for AWD (All Wheel Drive) cars. They also did a safety & mechanical/brakes/belts/hoses/fluids/lights check. Being in the Publix shopping ctr, I can drop the car off for oil/filters/tire rotation & overall checkup while getting provisions for the week and have the car done by the time I'm finished. As soon as I crossed over into Florida from Georgia I hit heavy rain and soon after I felt a shake coming from the front left wheel area. It was on a Sunday. I sat at a rest area for quite a few hrs. I refused to pay for a Florida Turnpike Tow. I drove abt 20 min and then the shaking got real bad. I looked up where the closest Auto Repair Shops were. I seen many in a place called Palm Coast. The first place, told me they could get me in, but it would be later in the day and without looking couldn't tell me how long of a fix. He gave me another option of going to an Industrial address 15 Hargrove Lane where I could find multiple Auto Shops. I went to the first one I seen open was a spot that solely works on Mercedes and I'm guessing some other specific cars. But the young man there still got in my car and drove it for a minute and gave me his opinion on a possibility. Then both the young man and a very nice lady from the Mercedes shop both told me I should go around the building to UNIT 1 J called TONY's TOUCH AUTO that opens around 9am. When he pulled in at 8:45am I approached him. I gave him 15 min to get organized. He then put my Mazda CX-9 up on a lift and it didn't take him long to find the issue. A lug nut had come loose from the new tires I put on the day before and that loose lug nut broke off one of the bolts that hold the Lug Nuts. He then told me it could be 1 of 2 prices depending on if he would have to move any other parts out of the way. Well, 15 minutes later he told me it was good news, it's the cheaper price. But honestly the more expensive price would've been fine after being in a car for a 3 day trip instead of 21 hrs. But now even better news, it's 10:06 am , 1 hr after looking at the car and he just came out and said I'm all set. Wow!!!! Fast!!! I'm writing this review while a worker of his is taking my car for a test drive. My experience with this man, Tony and his business is 100 Stars if I could give it. If you're a man or woman or teenager, my gut tells me this guy is a place I would go to before anyone else. I asked him why he doesn't advertise , even this Yelp isn't set up, he says advertisements cost money the one time he tried and word of mouth is free. Well, I'm 1 person that will vouch for word of mouth, because anyone reading this, I would go there and let him be the first you see before trying anywhere else. Well worth it. I see he's working on motorcycles too for anyone interested. Have a good day, I sure will from this point on.

The "manager" was there and after explaining it was a bit of an emergency he said, my guys will be here at 8". No problem, I will wait. They took my car on the lift at 8.05 and started working on the flat tire. So I thought. At 8.45 I look in the workshop and the hood is open. A mechanic is checking the front brakes etc etc. I ask why the hood is open for a flat tire? "We always do a multi point inspection sir!" So I asked if I gave them permission to do this as my car just had a full service of 800$ at my dealer one week ago. The front desk told me that this is State regulation. What???????? There is only one person that gives you permission to open up the hood for an inspection and that's me! What a bullsh!t nonsense. When I said you only do this to upsell me things I don't need they became angry. Well so did I......... very angry. I told you I was in a hurry and you just wasted 45 minutes without telling me. Another customer came in and he was told they would do the inspection. The guy laughed and said, no way (as well) When I (once again) spoke to the front desk guy and told him I was not pleased he pissed the payslip under my nose and did not want to talk to me anymore. That made me even more angrier so the manager threw me out! I went to Mavis with 3 of my cars since they opened up in St Augustine. They never did this in the beginning. They lost a good customer for ever!!!!!!!!! By the way their hourly rate for a mechanic is 158$ per hour. You better realize this! This is close to what a consultant charges per hour! I HAVE to give one star, but none would the best here. UPDATE: I FOUND OUT 3 HOURS LATER THAT THE TIRE IS STILL LEAKING. My advice, avoid the place at any time! LAST UPDATE (I promise) I called Discount Tire on the 16 in St Augustine. I could come bevrucht away. Arrived and was shocked. Min 50 customers, full workshop. Iff course...... they are next to the I95 on the Saturday after Christmas! I thought, this will cost me the rest of the day. Very, very friendly staff. And honest. Within 20 min the technician called my name. He's ready. Huh? Yep, there was a hole in the center of the tire. Easy repair. So Mavis screwed this one up completely! I got ready to pay and thanked him for the quick service. No need.... It's free. Excuse me? No not charge for this. Unbelievable. So I tipped the guy 20$ and left as a happy bloke. Guess who will do my tire stuff from now and won't? Exactly!

They told me they did an inspection (which I never asked for) and said, based on the manufacturer's recommendations, suggested I do a whole host of things from struts, shocks, to radiator flush's and much more, totaling $2300!! At this point the oil change still wasn't done! Fortunately I know something about cars. This is how you take advantage of seniors and those who are not knowledgeable with cars. Be careful when going there, you might get more recommendations$$ than you want. Never again will I come here!
