We just purchased a new Airstream Caravel from CC II and it was a great experience. The technician (Brandon Watts--not sure of last name) was the best. We have owned a camper before but this Airstream has a fair amount of electronics. He took time to clearly explain all aspects and was respectful of our questions. We videotaped his debrief and offered additional assistance if we needed help in the future. Great experience, from the sales staff to the technician, well done! read more

We just purchased our second RV from Camper Clinic II and Isaiah Chavan has been our sales associate both times. His customer service has been 5 star even after the purchase of our first RV in 2018. No matter what we have asked of him he has come through for us! read more

Service Issues: We purchased the "ResistAll" coating last year 2019 when we purchased our 2019 International Airstream. We took our Airstream in for annual service check up on Monday April 20, 2020. Found out the ResistAll had NEVER been applied. Nick tells us they would have marked the inside of the door frame with a sticker/note that indicates IF the ResistAll had been applied. Nick & another service tech search for this confirmation and do not find it. There is nothing in the door frame. Camper Clinic II has had our money for this expensive product for a year and we had nothing but an unprotected trailer. Not happy, but Nick in service tells us they can do it now and we say fine. Not happy but later is better than not at all. We call in on Wednesday to find out they didn't have the ResistAll and so it was going to be another day or two before they got our unit finished. We called in to Nick J. in Service on Friday April 24th and Nick says "Yeah, I was about to call you - it's ready - everything's done". As agreed with Nick, we head to Camper Clinic II south of Austin the next day (Saturday) to pick up our 2019 Airstream. It is 170 miles each way for us to travel to Camper Clinic II. We get there and are told to "go up the hill and hook up your unit and then check out on your way out of the lot". We couldn't find our Airstream up on the hill where the finished units are placed for pick up. Indeed, our Airstream is still in the prep area down the hill. Matt the service manager sees us looking for our Airstream and confirms the ResistAll hasn't been done. We can see that because the unit is still dirty with some of the road gunk that got on it between our home and Austin when we brought it in Monday. Matt says they'll make it right but he doesn't know what that is yet. We are on our way home now and are feeling pretty miffed. Hoping we can change this review to more stars. read more

We can't rave enough about our experience with Camper Clinic ii. From the sales process to the follow-up service, our experience was perfection. If you are in the market for an Airstream or any of the other RV brands Camper Clinic ii carries, make your way to Buda, TX. Our experience shows, it really is worth it, regardless of how far you have to travel. And, if you are already an owner and are looking for quality service, we highly recommend their service department as well. Here's our experience: Once we decided we wanted the Airstream Interstate Nineteen 4 by 4. It was a scramble to find one with just two available in the US at the time, and just one in the color we wanted. We live in VA, the dealer with the RV we wanted was in Texas. We worked with Brian Stubbs who approached our negotiation with both a desire to get the deal done and a great sense of humor. I haven't asked Brian how he feels about the deal, but we were very happy with it. We headed out to Texas to pick up our AI Nineteen and our great experience continued with Brian picking us up and bringing us to the dealership. Justin Rosenkranz gave us a great training on how to operate our new adorable little RV. And we worked with Jason Sutton on extended warrantee and additional service support options. Brenda Godinez made sure were didn't leave without the basic equipment we would need. At no time did we feel pressured or the sliminess that we have come to expect from car dealers. Brian suggested we stay at an RV park close to the dealership for our first night, in case we ran into any issues that they could address before we headed back to VA. We identified a few issues-- some user error, others not-- and stopped by the dealership on our way out of the area. That's when we met Brian Parmalee. If you own an RV, you know how backed up the service departments can get. We caught Brian on a very busy Saturday. And he still managed to spend some time with us, helping us with the things that were immediately addressable and working out a plan for dealing with the rest. Because of our already incredible experience, great reviews of the CCii service department and the fact that we had to be back in Texas for work a few weeks after purchase, we chose to go back to Buda for the service we needed. In the meantime, we discovered we kind of suck at the RV thing and needed lots of remedial support. (Why didn't we video tape Justin's training???). While we also have Coachnet 24/7 tech support, we found ourselves relying on the folks at Camper Clinic ii. Through text, email and phone, I don't think there was anyone employed by the dealership who didn't help us between pick-up and our return 3 weeks later. And at no time were we made to feel like we were a bother--despite the fact that I'm sure we were. When we returned for our service, Brian Parmalee and Reid Savaia were on top of every detail of our service needs and Monica Gonzalez walked us through some of the intricacies of the many different warrantees our RV is covered by. Carlos Salgado made sure we were organized on parts required for our Texas service and those that we would need to get taken care of closer to home, because they couldn't be delivered in time. Michael Holder gave us our very much needed part 2 training and answered all of novice questions thoughtfully and with incredible patience--never making us feel like we were taking up too much of his time. (Yes- -we did video tape this time, lest we forget which tank is supposed to be dumped first and other such important details.) We are hopeful that as a result of our time with Michael, we will start to suck less at this RV thing. ;-) If only there were more stars to give! read more

I haven't experienced the sales side of this business but I have experience with the service department with my 2015 Airstream Interstate(AI). I went there expecting professional and competent service as they are an authorized Airstream service center. I left there with an experience that missed that expectation, markedly. My AI was there an entire week (Monday 7/29 10AM to Monday 8/5 2:30PM) and came away worse off then it went in. I left this establishment with completely depleted house batteries (that I recently replaced at a cost over $600. Keep in mind, depleting AGM type batteries to 0v over an extended period of time = damaged life span on AGM batteries). Any professional in the RV business knows that house battery drainage is something that should be monitored and remedied during long periods of storage and repair schedules. My cover for my Awning Motor Assembly was left on my galley (kitchen counter top) instead of reinstalling it with original equipment, plastic pins they removed to take it off. When I pointed this out to them they wanted to use metal rivets to reattach it. That approach to the issue got a hard pass from me!!!! That's not the professional answer I was expecting. More details of my experience with this Service Order is below. I had four items that I needed their expertise, attention and focus on. I needed diagnosis and advise on my Solar Charging System and my Awning was malfunctioning. I needed them to reseal my MaxxFan (as it was leaking when it rained) and I needed them to replace the bath fan blade (I had purchased it in advance but found I was unable to replace it myself as I needed access to the top of the vehicle which I didn't have). I was informed to repair the Solar Charging System a charge controller needed replaced at a cost of $604.99. I was shocked. The original manufacturer's replacement part ordered direct from them is $104! When I questioned my service advisor about this disparity they promised to get with the technician and find out what I was getting for my money. The next day they informed me in quote that no, I needed a new Solar Panel at the cost of $725.79. I did some research and found that replacement part was $230. Keep in mind, I don't mind paying labor charges and a reasonable part markup when I am getting expertise and professionalism in return. These prices where outlandish. I had them remove the Solar Charging system from my Repair Order. The Awning repair had a very similar tone. They informed me that I needed to replace the entire Motor Assembly and the part would cost $641.99 +$75 freight and handling. Again, shock set in. I called Fiamma directly(The original manufacturer of the awning) and talked to a technician and described the problems that I observed. They said we have seen this problem before and I needed to replace the Winch Assembly. I asked him about the parts cost. He quoted $93 + $10 shipping. When I called my service advisor to relay this information they promised to investigate and get back to me. I waited and waited for a return call. I finally grew impatient and contacted them. I was told that they need to replace the entire motor assembly because otherwise Camper Clinic II would not be able to warranty the work. When I pointed out the confusion I had over the discrepancy of that verbal statement and what was in their written statement about warranty on their Repair Order, my advisor's tone changed markedly. Suddenly short and truncated. They invited me to have them replace the part but know it is not what they recommend. Trust broken. I asked to please remove it from my Repair Order. They said the other items (leak and fan) were being repaired and I can come pick up the RV. This was Friday morning. With no further communications or calls on Friday. I called, texted and emailed Saturday AM. Another service advisor finally responded with this text "Mr. X, Your Airstream will be ready sometime on Monday, I will have Y contact you when it is completed sir" On Monday I needed to arrange a ride as my car was at storage, where I house my RV. I reached out to my service advisor again to confirm that I could pick up my vehicle. They replied that my RV was in the process of "being checked by the shop foreman for quality control" as soon as they received the paper work they would let me know but it would definitely be ready that day. Three hours later, I was notified it was ready to pickup. I was there within 20mins. of receiving that notice. After paying for the two items (leak and fan) and the labor charges for the diagnosis on the Solar Charging system and Awning ($140). I got the keys and was pointed in the direction of my RV. That is when I discovered my RV was left in worse condition then when it arrived. This experience was such a disappointment for me. I had hoped that I found a place that would treat me and my RV fairly and professionally. Unfortunate that did not happen. read more

Had a great experience buying from CCII BUT service is another story. I received the lifetime warranty BUT that is conditional on me having to service it at CCII. I have to drive a few hours to get there, one way. I've had issues with them losing repair work information and now I'm being told I have to drop-off and pick-up during the week which means I lose work time. I'm done with CCII regardless of the warranty. Very high turn over rate for their service department too. Don't let the lifetime warranty sway you. read more

We purchased our 2016 Pendleton (#95) Airstream in May. Gavin was our sales associate. Gavin was positive, upbeat and polite. He never pressured us to commit. On our second visit to Camper Clinic II, he showed us the Pendleton as an 'afterthought'. We fell in love with it immediately. He answered all of our questions and if he did not know the answer, he took the time to find the correct answer. When we took delivery of the Airstream, Gavin stayed with us even though it was raining. Chris, in service, was very thorough. Overall it was a very pleasant experience. We visited many other RV dealerships and Camper Clinic II was BY FAR the best. Thanks Camper Clinic II. We love it! read more

Came here looking for parts for my motorhome. We had visited two other stores looking for the parts. Their selection is small, but the staff there were eager to help and answer questions. With their help we were finely able to find the parts that we needed. I wish I had checked in when I got here for the discount, but I have it for the next time. Their prices are competitive with the area. I inquired about getting a little work done and they were eager to help and give me another option to getting my work completed. read more

We bought a new RV from CC three years ago. The service department is, hand down, the worst service we have ever experienced. After usually waiting weeks (and sometimes months) just to get a service appointment, the service department STILL does not honor the appointment. Our RV has sat there for weeks beyond the scheduled appointment time without even being assessed. We understand that sometimes parts need to be ordered, that warranty work takes longer, but to not even LOOK at the vehicle during the scheduled appointment time and provide us with an estimate of time and cost is I credibly frustrating. We have had to cancel trips because of their failure to even provide the most basic communication, have had to do a lot of the warranty leg work ourselves and have even had to make repairs on our own. read more

I have a Forest River Toy Hauler that needed warranty work. I took it to Camper Clinic II in Buda. she said it'd be ready in a couple of months. they initially sounded good but as time went on I would call to check the status and she never answered or returned my call when I was able to leave a message. Long story short they don't return calls and it feels like i was given the run around. The part needs to be built for the slideout. They sent the wrong one so we had to reorder no date given for the part to come in. After 5 months I had enough. I had called other repair facilities and Lippert about the supposed Motor for the slideout and found they had them in stock And repair doesn't take 5 months. I called on December 21 and said I am coming to get it and take somewhere else to be repaired. When I showed up I didn't deal with the original service advisor i had a different one. He was nice and found that my trailer was complete and repaired. Now I began to wonder. The new motor never came it and they had total replaced all of the molding. I asked what he meant by complete and repaired. He looked her in her office and no response was given. I was totally pissed by now and wanted to get out of there. It was explained the she, Leah was going to be the new Service Manager for them. Well Camper Clinic will never get my business and I urge anyone else to not deal with them. If this is the way they treat any customer then they have a major problem. So NO I would not recommend them for service on any Camper or RV due to their service manager and advisor. read more

Where to start... a lifelong admirer of Airstream travel trailers and consider myself pretty well educated on the vintage and the new marketplace. We chose to buy a new trailer for a number of reasons. We wanted something to use right out of the box that was reliable and would have good resale or trade value. I can relate to the poster who has problems with the fridge. Ditto for us. I could just copy her post. It took a few tries but eventually it was repaired. The problem is twofold. One, Dometic has a recall on some of its refrigerator units, and even though the folks in the service department are super super nice, they failed to inform us of that. I found out ours was not on that list and they probably knew that fact. The other issue is that it's hard to rely on any fridge when the temps reach the 100's. And the same goes for the A/C, which needed to be serviced also. On our first cross country trip we realized that we had no idea how to use the furnace. Northern Minnesota had some pretty cool nights so we called CC and they talked us through the process. Had never been fired up so the first time it set the smoke detector off. The second time we turned it up- nothing! A mobile repairman working next door confirmed that the main board was toast. Arrrghhhh... found an AS dealer in MN and they did have the main board on hand and installed it the following day. What else could go wrong? Well we found out on a subsequent trip to the coast and on day 3 (of 3) we lost the hot water heater. It's in the shop as I write this. None of the above includes the minor flaws that were addressed. Popped rivets, leaky shower door channel etc. none of which is the dealer's fault. So I'm happy with the service crew at Camper Clinic II (Thank-You Tammy and Melanie), the overall excitement of Airstream ownership has been more than a bit dampened. And they are not cheap... so upgrading will be some time down the road. Not sure that more expensive means fewer problems but I'll someday have the chance to find out. Oh well. Couldn't resist. We fell in love with a special edition Airstream and the overall experience with the second 2016 we've bought in the past year had been much better. Maybe it's just the luck of the draw but there have been fewer issues with this unit. read more

They seem fine. Lifetime warranty wasn't of interest. Ask a lot questions about it. We didn't buy there as there are "absolutely no negotiations" we were told. "you can't beat our prices given the lifetime warranty". Lol. We bought elsewhere for substantially less. Too bad, we're local read more

Let's be honest, we all love to window shop. We went to a few of the RV shows, but never looked at the Airstreams. We liked our small camper we had, but there were certain things that drove us crazy. We drove by Camper Clinic II a couple to times and saw the shiny Airstreams along the highway. So we made a point to go one Saturday and take a look when they opened. We couldn't stay long because of an unexpected funeral, but they were nice and gave us literature as well as showed us a couple of units. We immediately fell in love with the design. A couple of weeks later we made an appointment with our sales person and looked at a few models. We decided to buy a new one, and we treated very fairly. The buying process was handled very professionally as was the walkthrough. All our questions were answered. On our first trip, we noticed a problem and called them on the phone. Their head technician called back. We ended having to take the unit back for service and again I have to say, so far they have been great. The reviews here on Yelp are a mixed bag, but we've got nothing but nice things to say so far. I've found them quite easy and nice to deal with from parts to service to sales. read more

My husband and I had been talking about buying a camper for a while and decided to check out models over the holiday weekend. Since we have limited towing capacity on our truck, our options were quite limited. The salesperson, Rachel, was very patient and helpful. She spent several hours with us and although we had not prepared to make a same-day purchase, we found 2 we liked enough to consider it, so we decided to do it and made an offer. Apparently our offer was lower than the manager wanted, but not a reason to be insulting, sarcastic and rude. So, we don't get our camper, Rachel lost a sale and this company lost our business. Good thing our "joke of an offer" (which was $2k less than theirs) does not mean much to them. Hope others have better luck shopping here. read more

We visited Camper Clinic II after viewing a Motor Home online that they were selling. We were promptly met by Michael Rait who showed us the vehicle we had seen online. His continued comments answering all of our questions led us to another Motor Home which we purchased. The only thing good about this clinic was the financial group hence the one star. We bought a used rig that was said to be checked out prior to purchase. The first issue we had was a propane tank leak. The gas lines were corroded and we had to replace them.the second thing we noticed was a dent in the rear left at the point of the awning. The rv repair place we took it to said someone must have let the awning loose fast and hard for this to happen. We did not see this when we initially inspected the rig and it so happens a fix would mean replacing the panel.Third, the tv in the bedroom doesn't work and the tv in the main cabinet only picks up air channels. We discovered a hodgepodge of screwed up wiring. Our walk through was minimal to say the least with a technician that was unfamiliar with the manufacturer. To top all this off, no one ever called after we drove off the lot to follow up. Terrible customer service. This is the first time I have ever written a review read more

I recently had a very complicated set of repairs needed on my Airstream. I wanted to commend Brian, Jeff and the master repair technician Alan for fixing and resolving the issues needed on this repair. Once we got the initial needs and repairs sorted out the team was very good about communicating and prioritizing my needed repair. Brian in particular did an excellent job communicating with me during the repair process and letting me know what the next steps were, etc. It is rather nerveracking to have to have a warranty repair, especially when you have a travel trailer as nice as an Airstream. After having numerous chats with Alan the master repair tech, I am convinced you would be hard pressed to find someone that knows as much about the Airstream product nationally as him. Finally, Jeff Bosse the manager did a very good job communicating with me as well when I had questions that could not be answered by the service team or warranty department at Airstream. read more

Few weeks back we went on a Saturday to look at a new rig. We met with a sales person who was less than enthusiastic about showing us a camper. Needless to say, she spent more time asking about what our spending limit would be, then showing us around. The condescending tone and arrogance Wes a complete turnoff. I would not recommend for purchase. I can't imagine what the service dept is like. Happy to report we purchased a 2019 Grand Design Reflection at customer focused competitor , who spent time with us, plugged in a rig for us to see and all our answered questions without the attitude. read more

They had our 2015 Airstream for five weeks to do a warranty repair on a Dometic refrigerator that beeps every minute or so. The first time they said it was ready, we drove down to get it. The frig didn't beep...because it was completely dead. Weeks later, they say come get it as it is working and cooled overnight. So five weeks later, we pick it up and take it home. Plug in to shore power and it still beeps. An incessant beep. The same one that we brought it in for in the first place. The nicest people in the service department but a colossal failure in repairs, communication and accountability. read more

We bought a used RV from them. I don't know how this company stays in business. They made one mistake after another and seem to have no communication with each other in the company. Appointments set up to pick up our RV were not set up correctly, we were given the wrong paperwork for someone else's RV, we were never sent our tags, and never given our service contract paperwork. We have called 4x and told we would receive the paperwork via email that day and never have. I have even tried dealing with the General Manager and I still have nothing. read more

I recently bought a used 2011 Airstream Classic Limited. I brought it to this dealership because they were the closest one to me. I dealt with Scott Brown. When I came in, I didn't have an appointment, but wanted to drop it off so they could check everything on it. He told me they could not touch it until a month later and I agreed to pay the one month storage fee. I also mention I was interested in a sway control hitch. He quoted me $1200 which I thought it was high, but since they weren't going to do anything to it for a month, I figured I would look online for prices on those things. After a couple of weeks I found the devise on Amazon for under $600 so I sent him an email to let him know I did not want the sway hitch after all. A week went by without a reply, so I decided to send him another email, by then he sent me an email stating that they had started to work on it already and that they had already installed the sway control. I called him so he could explain how they would install the sway control hitch without the towing vehicle. You can't install these things without the tow vehicle being there. He claimed they had put the brackets on the trailer already, which to me it didn't make any sense to install them at that time. What happened, he ignored my email so he wouldn't miss the sale of the item and fed me that line so I would have no choice, but to buy it. Well, I complained, but he still charged me half of the labor to install the whole thing. He charged me $120 to install two brackets, which doesn't involve much. The hard part is installing the vehicle end of it, that requires adjusting. I decided not to fight the issue so I accepted the unjustified charge. They charged me $650 just to inspect the whole trailer, and I don't believe they checked everything. Anyway, when I picked it up, I asked him a couple of questions regarding the trailer just to check his knowledge of the trailer since he portrayed himself as very knowledgeable. I could tell he was not very familiar with my trailer. I asked him if the propane tanks had been checked and he couldn't answer whether they did. Their yard where they store the RVs is dirt yard. My RV was dirtier when I picked it up than when I dropped it off. After over $2200 of repairs, they didn't even wash the RV. I was very, very disappointed with the service and customer service at this place. Next time my RV needs service, I would rather drive to Houston or Dallas than putting myself at the mercy of these people. read more

I paid CCII to install new blade valves on both gray and black water tanks on my Airstream four months ago. The gray blade valve failed over the weekend. They won't guarantee the repair, saying that their parts warranty is for only 3 months. I would have to pay them another day's labor ($1,000 or so) to pull off the belly cap and replace the part. I reserve the right to modify the star rating when (and if) my R.V. 's floor repair job is completed and I get my R.V. back. They've had it for nearly 2 months now and just started working on it last Wednesday, even though for a month and a half I was continually told I would be next up when a bay opened up. The repair job was paid for by insurance and check was issued to them about 1 1/2 months ago as well. It wasn't until I showed up last Wednesday and told them I would be returning with a truck to pick my R.V. up and take it elsewhere for the repairs did they finally have it pulled into a bay when I returned. So I left it and now they are stalling again after committing to a deadline of 9/9/20 for completion. I've had difficulty communicating with David, the service rep when I left voicemails for him that never got returned. I instead have just gone up there 5 or more times to check on the status of my repair job, which incidentally, I believe was WAY overbid after seeing what percentage of the subfloor that was actually replaced, as opposed to the amount quoted in the estimate to the insurance company. Hopefully I will be able to pick it up Monday. I use it for a vacation rental with Vrbo for people who come to town and rent it on my property. Needless to say I've not had any income at all for over 2 months since it's been in the repair facility. read more

If I could give negative stars to this place, I would. They have the worst customer service and most uncaring staff I have Ever Encountered in my life, and that is AFTER I spent 40k on buying an RV from them. We no longer live in Austin, but pay $100.00 a month to store our RV with them. We live six hours away, and came to pick up our RV and encounter multiple issues. They told us on Monday that they would work on getting our RV repaired in 24 hours. We called every day and each day they said it would be tomorrow. Today, the day before Christmas Eve, they told us they just didn't have to staff and now everyone was leaving for Christmas. We have nowhere to stay, and we cannot find a hotel that will allow three dogs (That is why we bought to RV in the first place. If you are looking for an RV to buy, go anywhere else. There are plenty of other places that you can do business with. They left us stranded without and RV and no place to go with our three dogs on Christmas. It is a long story, and since I am on the side of the road with nowhere to go right now, I will update with details later. I just want to warn any good people out there looking for an RV to steer way clear of this place. Years ago, this was a great place. It has changed ownership/management/ personnel SO many times since we bought the RV. The frequently newly turned over staff just don't care. Go to any other place but this one. I recently purchased a 2014 Airstream Class B RV from Rachel Adams at Camper Clinic II in Buda, TX, and I could not be more satisfied. Rachel is the #1 Airstream salesperson in the entire USA and it shows. She knows Airstream inside and out, backwards and forwards. She's a straight-shooter, no B.S. salesperson, which in my experience buying vehicles over the last 40 years is almost unheard of. Her level of customer service before, during, and after the sale has been superb. And I can say the same in general for the entire Camper Clinic II staff I've worked with. We bought our 5TH Wheel in October, we told the sales rep that the theater seating in the unit was broken, they sent out a service tech who recommended it be replaced, that was six months ago, we are still waiting along with the blind that's broken and other issues we are having. They would rather give excuses and empty promises than to make sure you as a customer are taken care of. I would give them zero stars if I was possible. read more

Was travelling through central Texas and had an electrical problem with my pop-up in the Austin area so pulled into Camper Clinic. First the lady in the service dept quizzed me why I stopped there, did I call before dropping in, if so who did I speak to, and did I know there was a 3-week waiting period for repairs. I was ready to leave when a mechanic said they might be able to check it out the next day. Two days later the same lady told me the converter was bad and the bill would be $580. I may have let them do the work but the place looked like a junk yard and the attitude of the whole place was surly, rude, and unprofessional. I declined so she hit me with $120 diagnostic charge. On the wall right above her head was a sign stating $114 per hour labor charge...ANY and ALL work will be charged a minimum of one hour (plus taxes). I paid and left as quickly as possible. I picked up a new converter at another RV location for $180 and went to Best Buy and had an electrical technician with 15 years experience install it in 45 minutes. The guy was extremely courteous and professional...kudos to the Geek Squad! read more

We live in our Airstream and in the past year have had to have small issues serviced. Camper clinic takes us right away and does their best to get us back in our home ASAP. I would recommend them to anyone needing Airstream service. They have a great attitude and very knowledgeable about Airstreams. read more

Excellent Sales!! Go to Steve for great and friendly sales... worked with me very well. Dan was great Sales Manager! He didn't "sell me" but I bought because he was not trying to force me. Great guys! I'm taking it back to College Station Wednesday. Great Christmas present! read more

Do not purchase the fabric protection! If you have any damage larger than a quarter inch the insurance will not cover, sorry I had to learn this the hard way. Please keep this in mind if you decide to get it. Would not recommend! read more
