I can't decide if I should rate Bloomsgiving as a coffee shop or florist or nursery... So, I'll rate all parts of this business Nursery/Gardening - I love their plants collection personally being a plant mom myself. Love the variety of house plants they carry especially all the aesthetic patterns of a house plant family Presentation is outstanding as well! Florist - Love their bouquets and pastel colors. You can tell that the craft is unique and aesthetic. I haven't paid attention to the price though Coffee shop - Loved their coffee, pink sleeve and the little flowers they add to the to go mug. Totally fell in love. I ordered a rose latte with oat milk and it kept up to the standards. However, their pastries aren't the best and they didn't seem freshly baked. Also, note that the indoor seating is limited. However there's plenty of outdoor seating on Castro Street
Coffee and flower shop all in one. This is a great place to hang out with some girlfriends. I like looking at all the interesting things in the store and I also grabbed a latte. Street parking was relatively easy to find. Indoor seating. Please come and create your own adventure.
This is probably my favorite drop-in coffee spot on Castro Street! The staff is always very friendly and the coffee has a consistent quality that we continue to return for. We really enjoy the foam art and that you get a flower with each cup! It's fun that they also offer plants, which we have picked up and had success with, they also have a solid selection of ceramic pots to purchase for your plants. Overall, the vibe of this coffee shop is top notch, the drinks are always made well, and the staff create an inviting experience. I would highly recommend you give them a chance!
Such cute vibes!! People were making wreaths when I stopped by since it was early Dec. Lots of cool plants with neat descriptions that I really appreciated, e.g., species, preferred atmosphere, not safe for children or pets, etc. Coffee was also delicious! Got a baby cappuccino!
Bloomsgiving is such a darling concept, I swear I've thought about creating one just like it... in my head.... 10 years ago. Haha. It's combining some of my favorite things: plants, coffee, shopping, pastries, a beautiful place to hang out or study/read. This is a store I stop by every time I was in the area. Every. Time! I don't even need anymore plants or want a drink, but this store has like a giant magnet that always draws me in. Bloomsgiving is a relatively small, boutique-y place with 'just the right amount' of variety of plants. You won't be wandering through aisles upon aisles of plants like in box store garden centers. I always find something interesting to buy, oogle over or gift at Bloomsgiving. At my last visit, I bought my favorite tree here! It was one I had been wanting for....get this... 2 YEARS. It was a rare species to locate in NorCal, and if I ever did find one, the only sizes were tiny 4" pots or giant 6'+ trees. This store had a medium-size tree! The staff member who was on shift that day worked hard: she paid a lot of attention, listened to what I wanted, and carefully wrapped my tree since it had delicate branches that stuck out so it could be safely transported in my car ride home. I can't speak to the drinks and food since I didn't order any. I noticed many people studying inside had ordered coffee drinks, and there was an actual espresso machine so the coffee looked legit! The food selection was very very small though and didn't look as appealing as the food-shaped plushies that sat above it. Prices are on the high side at Bloomsgiving, but that's to be expected in this downtown location and for a boutique plant store. I think this dual concept of serving coffee and selling plants is genius, and it is worth a visit - at least it has been for me!
Been wanting to check out Bloomsgiving for a while now! I always walk past their flower-adorned storefront around dinner time when they're already closed, so I finally made it out on a Sunday afternoon. When you walk in, it almost feels like you've stepped into a greenhouse -- surrounded by leafy plants and floral touches. They offer a wide range of classic and specialty drinks, and I went straight for their mixed matcha options: - Blueberry Matcha -- light and well-balanced between blueberry and matcha; not overly syrupy like most blueberry drinks - Pandan Coconut Latte -- one of their specialty lattes; both pandan and coconut flavors came through clearly and it was perfectly sweetened A fun detail I loved: they tape a tiny flower to your drink -- such a thoughtful and fitting touch given the shop's theme. There are a few seats and tables in the center if you want to hang out or study. The atmosphere is peaceful and not too crowded, with tons of natural daylight for both you and the plants. Service was kind and quick. They also do half-off pastries after 2pm, which is a great bonus. I was surprised they close later than most cafes -- 8pm daily, except Sundays at 5pm. Bloomsgiving also sells bouquets, houseplants, and floral arrangements for weddings and events, so it's a one-stop shop for plant lovers and tea drinkers alike. Definitely worth a visit.
I love stopping here when I'm in downtown Mountain View. DRINKS: Every drink I've had here has been spectacular. Not too sweet but not flavorless. They do lots of fun seasonal mixes too so there's always something new to try. SPACE: Plants and garden tools are such cute additions to this shop. However my personal favorite is the greeting card rack! There are so many cute prints from local artists, I always stop and get something. PRICE: Ranges from $6 - $8.50 per drink, pretty average for the area. PARKING: Park in any of the public downtown Mountain View lots and walk on over.
I visited on Saturday around 4pm. There was only one table in the shop. It wasn't very busy that day. The shop itself is very pretty with flowers and plants. I love the fact that you can purchase bouquets here. It felt like being in a lovely greenhouse. I ordered the iced vanilla latte which came with regular milk. The total was $6.35. My drink was ready in around three minutes, which was so quick. I love how they put a cute little flower taped on the side of the cup. It came in one size which was a 16 ounce cup. The drink was milky, sweet, and smooth. With lattes, they tend to be milkier rather than coffee forward. I can taste the coffee, but it's more like sweet milk with coffee. As someone who typically enjoys drinks at 25% sweetness, this is probably comparable to 50% sweetness. One con I have about this place is the use of the paper cup. As I'm slowly sipping the drink, the ice/coldness of the drink is causing the cup to soften and lose some structure. The cup isn't falling apart, but if you were to squish the cup a little, it becomes kind of soft. The staff were friendly, and I had a great experience visiting here. I do wish that they had more seating. This place is definitely more for grab and go orders. There are some parking lots and street parking around the area that is just a short walking distance to the shop.
I finally visited this original location after bookmarking it for over a year. The floral cafe shop may be small with a shared table, but their matcha is better than their specialty lattes. Their Matcha Sparkler was so refreshing and remained fizzy. I also tried their seasonal Orange Oat Latte, but it had a more coffee taste with less orange essence, just a dried blood orange that I didn't want to eat. There was a nice selection of indoor plants, mini handcrafted home decor, and beautiful bouquets. They were more beautiful to stare at than a bunch of cute guys who came in to check out for succulents. I even took my time to read my favorite book while I shared a table with a few girls who were studying with their laptops. It can be a bit noisy with other customers (mostly couples on a date) having conversations and baristas shaking and stirring drinks, so it's best to bring your noise-canceling headphones if you get distracted easily. I love how the baristas add mini flowers to each cup. It made it very memorable that I deserve self-love and care. I would come back for more matcha and hojicha lattes than their seasonal drinks even purchase a bouquet or plant for special occasions.
Came in here after taking a lagree class cus it's right next door with some friends at around 3 pm, there was no line. We walked in and ordered with the barista, she was super friendly and answered all our questions! I ordered the lavender matcha latte with oat milk, it came out super quick. My drink had bits of lavender in the drink so I kept having to spit it out haha. But the drink itself was super good and tasty! The shop is cute to walk around in and look at the plants. Either way I loved the vibe in here and will come back!
This place is located in the corner of a busy area! Lots of fun flowers and plants to look at while waiting and there is one sitting area inside the place! The drinks also come with a little flower on the side!
Bloomsgiving floral shop with beverage menu has been around for years on Castro Street in Mountain View. It's always gorgeous with all the colorful flowers and green house plants everywhere. Customer service is mostly excellent and welcoming. People like taking photos of their flowers and beverages here. Not bad for a quick tea beverage stop. I just wish they would have tables and chairs inside for customers to sit and chat though. It's a neighborhood flower shop/plant shop. If it were a cafe, then more foot traffic would stop by to view beautiful flowers and plants. They sell note cards, teacups, vases, pottery, and other gift items too. Organized and clean inside. Smaller bouquets for $20 each would make someone special. $80-$120 bouquet selections are plentiful. You can always pick up something special here. All flowers and plants look healthy too. It's a pet friendly environment. Staffs are helpful. They can wrap up gifts as needed. Bloomsgiving is one of a kind for this location. Not cheap for beautiful items. Grab a beverage and look around.
After landing in San Jose to meet with a friend, this was our first stop of the day! The shop is such a. cute concept with all the plants. We ordered the matcha latte and hoijicha latte. The drinks were pretty good. There are some places that can't bail hoijicha, but it's actually pretty good here! I would order it again. I absolutely adore the little flower that comes with it. Love the presentation, very on theme with the shop!

I've been here two separate times for drinks and flowers. The store usually isn't busy and we always get our drinks within 10 minutes. Matcha latte: I like the matcha latte here since it isn't as sweet as other places. The matcha is pretty strong so it definitely kept me awake throughout the day. Black Sesame latte: I did not really enjoy this since I'm not into sesame drinks but my friend seemed to enjoy it. The sesame really over powers the drink which I didn't enjoy too much but that's usually with most sesame flavored drinks/food. Flowers: The flowers here are so beautiful!! I opted for the pink bouquet since that's my favorite color. They also add custom notes! read more
I have zero complaints about this place but this review is about the coffee shop not the plants. The spot is very cute, lots of live and exotic plants everywhere. I've been to their Redwood City location and, after a failed drink order at a neighboring boujee spot, decided to pop into here for a redeeming drink (and cup of joy). I went with the matcha coconut pandan, almond milk and less sweet. It's perfect. The matcha has matcha flavor and the coconut pandan adds just the right "je ne sais quoi". I've tried their coffee as well and it's excellent (from a roaster in San Jose). I think the owners were behind the counter as I've seen them in the other location too - very friendly and welcoming. Nothing too extra, nothing less. I was able to sit outside on the bench by lovely flowers to enjoy my soul-warming drink. read more

Had a cute offsite with my team here and was able to get a lesson on how to arrange flowers! When Jackie was walking us through the process, she was super patient, descriptive, and sweet! Our session included a drink and the Hojicha latte did not disappoint! I learned a lot about flowers, putting it together, and loved that I got to come home with it! You can also get really unique cards, cute succulents, and plants. Definitely stopping by next time I'm in the area to pick up a few succulents. read more

Bloomsgiving is such a vibe! Really cute concept. It's a plant shop that serves coffee. I had Bloomsgiving bookmarked and was on Castro Street one day and decided to stop by. All of the plants were so pretty! I didn't really look at the prices, so I can't say if the plants were reasonably priced or not. After walking the shop, which isn't that big, my boyfriend and I ordered drinks. My boyfriend ordered a cold brew and I ordered one of their seasonal drinks, a strawberry latte. I didn't try the cold brew, but my boyfriend said it was ok. I enjoyed my strawberry latte! Mainly because it was made with real strawberries. Also, my drink was so pretty! Love that they tape a little plant/flower on the cup. It's the little touches! When I was walking along Castro Street, random people kept saying my drink looked so good. read more
Very cute plant variety, with detailed care instructions and reasonable prices. They had some very pricy but much rarer variegated plants, too! I got the hojicha latte, which was a little watered down. Vibes were impeccable and it's a nice place to sit with friends! read more

It's a pretty cool store! I ordered the Chai Latte and while I waited I was able to walk around the store and see all the plants that they had. It's not a very big store (small seating area in the center) but they do have a lot of plants/pots for sale. My drink was ready in a few minutes and I really liked that they put a flower on the container (a very nice touch!!!). The drink itself was a little spicy but very refreshing. Definitely try this place out if you're ever in the area!! read more
Disclaimer: My rating is for the coffee shop portion of Bloomsgiving After seeing the high reviews and aesthetic pictures of Bloomsgiving, I had high expectations for the drinks I had planned to order. I came in around 5PM on a Wednesday, and ordered a Rose Matcha Latte, which quite frankly, tasted like milk with a hint of matcha and an even smaller hint of rose. For the price that I paid, which was about ~$6, I likely wouldn't come back again. The staff that was working there at the time and had taken our orders were super friendly, so the service was great! Food, not so much, unfortunately. The shop is cute though! read more

Beautiful store with great a range of plants and flowers. There are premade bouquets in various sizes in the front of the store but I opted in to preorder a bouquet to ensure I had a good pick. The staff was very helpful and attentive to any questions I had. As for the drinks, unfortunately this brought my initial 4 star rating to a 3 star. To be fair, I only had the matcha latte but it tasted very bitter and the color was a light green - which typically means it is old matcha or low quality. Overall I would highly recommend this place if you are coming for the plants or the flowers. read more

Bloomsgiving has landed on my list of reliable places to grab a coffee in the peninsula area. I think that I've been to most, if not all of their locations so far. Every location has the same, wonderful floral aesthetic that just makes you feel so relaxed as you walk in. Truthfully a breath of fresh air every time. The combination of plants and coffee will most likely always be my favorite thing ever haha. My go-to drink from them is always an iced mocha with lavender syrup. Every cup also comes with a dainty flower attached to the side, which makes a cute picture of course! In all honesty, the store first appealed to me solely because of the flower, but they've gained a loyal customer due to the consistency of their drinks. I've never faced any issues with my go-to order, nor have there been any noticeable differences every time I come back. The baristas have no problem with answering any questions we had- both on the large array of plants and the drinks themselves. Give them a try! read more
Flowers, Plants, and great coffee is a can't miss if you happen to be Mountain View. The staff were super friendly and the atmosphere we calming as I enjoyed a late sitting in a beautiful flower and plant shop. Bloomsgiving is at the top of my list for go-to cafes when I'm traveling around Mountain View. Every latte I've ordered is flavorful and made perfectly. Some of the lattes even came with a small flower taped to it which is a great touch I've never had any cafe do before. There is a tremendous selection of flowers and there is always a cart outside with beautiful bouquet deals relevant to the season/holiday. Plenty of cute merchandise inside available for sale too! Grab a succulent or two while you pick up your drink. Or maybe get a drink while you pick up your flowers. Either way, I'm sure you won't be disappointed. read more

My new fave place when I'm craving some matcha goodness + new plant bb's! I took myself on a mini date on Valentine's Day and I fell in love with the individual bouquets they had outside of their shop - ofc, I had to get one for myself too! As for the matcha lattes, I ordered the iced coconut matcha latte and it was delicious! They even add a sweet touch by adding a little flower on the cups. read more
Such a cute little plant/coffee shop conveniently located in downtown MV! I had been wanting to stop by for a while and happened to be eating right across at Crepevine. The shop was filled with tons of beautiful plants and had a very light and airy vibe. I ended up ordering my usual iced vanilla oat latte, decaf this time (a little over $6 before tip). The barista was really nice and when she realized she didn't make my drink decaf, she immediately remade it for me. Definitely will be back again and maybe I'll take home a plant too! read more
We need more plant / coffee shops around the Bay Area. There, I said it. I love the idea of browsing the different plants and ooo and ahh-ing at different plant themed knick knacks while waiting for my hot matcha latte. It make me feel fancy and dang it, I want more of that feeling. Bloomsgiving was a suggestion from a friend and he hit the nail on the head. It's a precious shop in Mountain View and has a good variety of plants for the average plant parent to enjoy and for the non-plant lovers... they got plant themed pillows, tote bags, greeting cards, and room diffusers. Overall, I enjoyed my visit. I opted for their rose matcha latte and it came with a little sprig as decoration. My fiancé got their oat milk latte and he got a rose.... I guess he deserves some love, too. read more

Cute plant shop with really healthy plants! I used to come here during breaks at work because they also have a coffee shop inside :) Drinks are good and they have seasonal items which I'm all about. Staff are super friendly and knowledgeable. I brought in a plant that was dying and they told me some potential causes, helped me repot it, and gave me new soil. I feel like the people who work here really care about plants and it shows! read more

Cute plants, bouquets, candles, essential oils, and coffee! What more could you ask for? I came in with the intention of staying for a couple hours to journal while sipping on my lavender latte. Their coffee is GOOD! There is a table in the middle of the shop that can seat up to 6 people. I stayed there along with two other folks on the other end. It was the perfect ambiance for my activity. The workers are so welcoming and really seem to enjoy their jobs. They're knowledgeable about the drinks and the variety of plants - how to care for them, propagate them, etc. Would highly recommend stopping by and checking this place out!! read more
Such a cute flower & plant / coffee shop that's located in Downtown Mountain View! I ordered a matcha latte with oatmilk and it was great. You can really taste the quality of the matcha. I will definitely be back to try their coffee options in the future. Love the detail of the flower that comes with each drink. I tried the dulce de leche cappuccino and it was super good, if I lived closer I would definitely come back here often. I wasn't sure the quality of the espresso since it was in a flower shop but the quality was great. I would try other drinks here in the future as well and I love that they give you a small flower cutting with your drink. read more

I love you, Bloomsgiving, but I fear you need earlier hours. :') Are you a plant shop or a cafe? You serve bomb lattes but oh, also sell plants, so that means you can open at 10am?? I love their coconut pandan stuff that goes into their lattes or matchas. So good. read more
Gorgeous plant store on Castro that also has a caffe!! I got a pumpkin matcha soy latte and it was kinda pricey cause of my customizations but so worth it - it was delicious. My drink also came with a cute little flower! My friend got the iced coconut matcha and he really enjoyed it. He also picked up a tree pot and it was not too pricey! The staff are incredibly nice and super friendly too, I'm definitely gonna be back for a pick me up in the area! read more
easily my favorite coffee shop in Mountain View!!! at first glance, it looks like just a plant shop, but they also offer a wide variety of amazing drinks. i love how they even attach a little flower to every order! my go-to has been the iced Strawberry Milk Latte & it always delivers!!! i don't see a lot of coffee shops that offer fruity drinks, so i was glad to see they added a Banana version as well. in addition, they also have a bunch of seasonal drinks which are so good as well. FYI, the seasonal drinks are only around until supplies last, so i'd hurry! i was also happy to see that they recently added more seating inside, that way i can enjoy my drink in the midst of such beautiful plants--the ambience in general is so peaceful. all their plants & other merch is for sale too! the baristas are also extremely nice & put a lot of work into maintaining the shop. love it here! read more
This is the cutest coffee and plant shop right in downtown Mountain View. I ordered an iced hazelnut latte and it came with a surprise flower taped to the cup which I thought was the cutest touch! Definitely brightened my day a little. It is a small shop so there is only 1 inside table, otherwise there are outside tables available. Will be coming back to try their matcha menu! read more
I've been here a few times for coffee and their daily bouquets and always appreciated the store itself on Castro as well. The flowers are always beautiful so I decided to order a custom bouquet for my MIL's retirement. The flower arrangement was gorgeous and she loved them! Super cute spot in Castro, saw this from social media and had to give it a try! Came by on a weekday around 5pm and picked up the passion fruit tea--super refreshing, the perfect afternoon pick me up! Not to mention the cute flower adornment. Prices overall fair for drinks. The inside is pretty small, with a lot of plants to marvel at while waiting for drinks. Looks like they sell bouquet arrangements as well (priced at $70+ in the fridge). read more
The cutest plant store & coffee shop - it can be hard to find but it's right on the main street of Castro downtown! There's not much place to sit inside, but there's plenty of seating outside. The shop is full of amazing plants, flowers, candles, and goods. The coffee shop has amazing drinks & even some pastries - with lots of dairy free options! I got the hojicha latte with oat milk, and they even serve drinks with a flower on the cup (such a cute lil touch) - which was amazing. Parking can be tough on the actual street, but you can find plenty of parking on the side. Def will be back to purchase some plants & matcha. read more
Such a cute spot that combines the best of a boutique plant store and a lovely cafe. I stopped by after grabbing lunch in the area after seeing the inviting storefront and knew I had to go in and browse the plant selection! I love that they have both well-known starter plants for newbies who are just getting into plant parenting as well more rare, special variety plants. I spotted a gorgeous pink philodendron that I wanted to bring home but didn't have the time to purchase it. I also grabbed a rose matcha latte from the counter to go. Love the matcha in this as well as the subtle rose flavor. Good thing it didn't taste artificial like other rose lattes I've had which overuse rose extract. The matcha was a bit sweet for my liking so if I go back, I'd try to request for less sweetness. There's not room for seating inside but there is a cute table on the sidewalk and plenty of seating around. Overall such a cute spot if you're walking down Castro to check out! read more
This place is absolutely gorgeous and I am in complete awe every time I step in. It's located in downtown Mountain View and it's such a lively place outside, whenever I'm in the area I have to stop by for a matcha latte at Bloomsgiving and to admire the beautiful flowers. The two ladies working at the time were super friendly and they made the drink super fast. The rose matcha latte was super good and tasted very floral. The dried petals that were garnished on top of the latte was very pretty, but towards the end it made it very difficult to drink unless you're fine with drinking the petals. read more
