I can't decide if I should rate Bloomsgiving as a coffee shop or florist or nursery... So, I'll rate all parts of this business Nursery/Gardening - I love their plants collection personally being a plant mom myself. Love the variety of house plants they carry especially all the aesthetic patterns of a house plant family Presentation is outstanding as well! Florist - Love their bouquets and pastel colors. You can tell that the craft is unique and aesthetic. I haven't paid attention to the price though Coffee shop - Loved their coffee, pink sleeve and the little flowers they add to the to go mug. Totally fell in love. I ordered a rose latte with oat milk and it kept up to the standards. However, their pastries aren't the best and they didn't seem freshly baked. Also, note that the indoor seating is limited. However there's plenty of outdoor seating on Castro Street
Coffee and flower shop all in one. This is a great place to hang out with some girlfriends. I like looking at all the interesting things in the store and I also grabbed a latte. Street parking was relatively easy to find. Indoor seating. Please come and create your own adventure.
This is probably my favorite drop-in coffee spot on Castro Street! The staff is always very friendly and the coffee has a consistent quality that we continue to return for. We really enjoy the foam art and that you get a flower with each cup! It's fun that they also offer plants, which we have picked up and had success with, they also have a solid selection of ceramic pots to purchase for your plants. Overall, the vibe of this coffee shop is top notch, the drinks are always made well, and the staff create an inviting experience. I would highly recommend you give them a chance!
Such cute vibes!! People were making wreaths when I stopped by since it was early Dec. Lots of cool plants with neat descriptions that I really appreciated, e.g., species, preferred atmosphere, not safe for children or pets, etc. Coffee was also delicious! Got a baby cappuccino!
Bloomsgiving is such a darling concept, I swear I've thought about creating one just like it... in my head.... 10 years ago. Haha. It's combining some of my favorite things: plants, coffee, shopping, pastries, a beautiful place to hang out or study/read. This is a store I stop by every time I was in the area. Every. Time! I don't even need anymore plants or want a drink, but this store has like a giant magnet that always draws me in. Bloomsgiving is a relatively small, boutique-y place with 'just the right amount' of variety of plants. You won't be wandering through aisles upon aisles of plants like in box store garden centers. I always find something interesting to buy, oogle over or gift at Bloomsgiving. At my last visit, I bought my favorite tree here! It was one I had been wanting for....get this... 2 YEARS. It was a rare species to locate in NorCal, and if I ever did find one, the only sizes were tiny 4" pots or giant 6'+ trees. This store had a medium-size tree! The staff member who was on shift that day worked hard: she paid a lot of attention, listened to what I wanted, and carefully wrapped my tree since it had delicate branches that stuck out so it could be safely transported in my car ride home. I can't speak to the drinks and food since I didn't order any. I noticed many people studying inside had ordered coffee drinks, and there was an actual espresso machine so the coffee looked legit! The food selection was very very small though and didn't look as appealing as the food-shaped plushies that sat above it. Prices are on the high side at Bloomsgiving, but that's to be expected in this downtown location and for a boutique plant store. I think this dual concept of serving coffee and selling plants is genius, and it is worth a visit - at least it has been for me!
Been wanting to check out Bloomsgiving for a while now! I always walk past their flower-adorned storefront around dinner time when they're already closed, so I finally made it out on a Sunday afternoon. When you walk in, it almost feels like you've stepped into a greenhouse -- surrounded by leafy plants and floral touches. They offer a wide range of classic and specialty drinks, and I went straight for their mixed matcha options: - Blueberry Matcha -- light and well-balanced between blueberry and matcha; not overly syrupy like most blueberry drinks - Pandan Coconut Latte -- one of their specialty lattes; both pandan and coconut flavors came through clearly and it was perfectly sweetened A fun detail I loved: they tape a tiny flower to your drink -- such a thoughtful and fitting touch given the shop's theme. There are a few seats and tables in the center if you want to hang out or study. The atmosphere is peaceful and not too crowded, with tons of natural daylight for both you and the plants. Service was kind and quick. They also do half-off pastries after 2pm, which is a great bonus. I was surprised they close later than most cafes -- 8pm daily, except Sundays at 5pm. Bloomsgiving also sells bouquets, houseplants, and floral arrangements for weddings and events, so it's a one-stop shop for plant lovers and tea drinkers alike. Definitely worth a visit.
I love stopping here when I'm in downtown Mountain View. DRINKS: Every drink I've had here has been spectacular. Not too sweet but not flavorless. They do lots of fun seasonal mixes too so there's always something new to try. SPACE: Plants and garden tools are such cute additions to this shop. However my personal favorite is the greeting card rack! There are so many cute prints from local artists, I always stop and get something. PRICE: Ranges from $6 - $8.50 per drink, pretty average for the area. PARKING: Park in any of the public downtown Mountain View lots and walk on over.
I visited on Saturday around 4pm. There was only one table in the shop. It wasn't very busy that day. The shop itself is very pretty with flowers and plants. I love the fact that you can purchase bouquets here. It felt like being in a lovely greenhouse. I ordered the iced vanilla latte which came with regular milk. The total was $6.35. My drink was ready in around three minutes, which was so quick. I love how they put a cute little flower taped on the side of the cup. It came in one size which was a 16 ounce cup. The drink was milky, sweet, and smooth. With lattes, they tend to be milkier rather than coffee forward. I can taste the coffee, but it's more like sweet milk with coffee. As someone who typically enjoys drinks at 25% sweetness, this is probably comparable to 50% sweetness. One con I have about this place is the use of the paper cup. As I'm slowly sipping the drink, the ice/coldness of the drink is causing the cup to soften and lose some structure. The cup isn't falling apart, but if you were to squish the cup a little, it becomes kind of soft. The staff were friendly, and I had a great experience visiting here. I do wish that they had more seating. This place is definitely more for grab and go orders. There are some parking lots and street parking around the area that is just a short walking distance to the shop.
I finally visited this original location after bookmarking it for over a year. The floral cafe shop may be small with a shared table, but their matcha is better than their specialty lattes. Their Matcha Sparkler was so refreshing and remained fizzy. I also tried their seasonal Orange Oat Latte, but it had a more coffee taste with less orange essence, just a dried blood orange that I didn't want to eat. There was a nice selection of indoor plants, mini handcrafted home decor, and beautiful bouquets. They were more beautiful to stare at than a bunch of cute guys who came in to check out for succulents. I even took my time to read my favorite book while I shared a table with a few girls who were studying with their laptops. It can be a bit noisy with other customers (mostly couples on a date) having conversations and baristas shaking and stirring drinks, so it's best to bring your noise-canceling headphones if you get distracted easily. I love how the baristas add mini flowers to each cup. It made it very memorable that I deserve self-love and care. I would come back for more matcha and hojicha lattes than their seasonal drinks even purchase a bouquet or plant for special occasions.
Came in here after taking a lagree class cus it's right next door with some friends at around 3 pm, there was no line. We walked in and ordered with the barista, she was super friendly and answered all our questions! I ordered the lavender matcha latte with oat milk, it came out super quick. My drink had bits of lavender in the drink so I kept having to spit it out haha. But the drink itself was super good and tasty! The shop is cute to walk around in and look at the plants. Either way I loved the vibe in here and will come back!
This place is located in the corner of a busy area! Lots of fun flowers and plants to look at while waiting and there is one sitting area inside the place! The drinks also come with a little flower on the side!
Bloomsgiving floral shop with beverage menu has been around for years on Castro Street in Mountain View. It's always gorgeous with all the colorful flowers and green house plants everywhere. Customer service is mostly excellent and welcoming. People like taking photos of their flowers and beverages here. Not bad for a quick tea beverage stop. I just wish they would have tables and chairs inside for customers to sit and chat though. It's a neighborhood flower shop/plant shop. If it were a cafe, then more foot traffic would stop by to view beautiful flowers and plants. They sell note cards, teacups, vases, pottery, and other gift items too. Organized and clean inside. Smaller bouquets for $20 each would make someone special. $80-$120 bouquet selections are plentiful. You can always pick up something special here. All flowers and plants look healthy too. It's a pet friendly environment. Staffs are helpful. They can wrap up gifts as needed. Bloomsgiving is one of a kind for this location. Not cheap for beautiful items. Grab a beverage and look around.
After landing in San Jose to meet with a friend, this was our first stop of the day! The shop is such a. cute concept with all the plants. We ordered the matcha latte and hoijicha latte. The drinks were pretty good. There are some places that can't bail hoijicha, but it's actually pretty good here! I would order it again. I absolutely adore the little flower that comes with it. Love the presentation, very on theme with the shop!
I got the matcha cold brew and a regular cold brew. Both were flavorless and the worst part is that the drinks were really watered down. I was not impressed at all and just super disappointed. It's inside a plant/flower shop which is cute but if you are going to be swelling drinks i would inly hope that they taste great. definitely missed the mark for me read more
Matcha: 3/5 Shop: 5/5 Bloomsgiving is a wonderful addition to the shopping area. The shop is full of leafy plants and I was surprised at how many large plants they had available. It is a wonderful place to get a plant-loving friend a gift. There's a carousel of cute cards to shop for too! I believe it would be a great space to chill and study as there were two people with their laptops. I wish I had a better impression on their matcha. If you are pretty into matcha (ceremonial grade lover), I would skip getting their lattes. The color while pretty green on camera, was not a vivid green in real life. But I had some hope of how it would taste. When I tried it, I was not impressed. It tasted quite weak due to the fact that I tasted the milk more. I would opt to try their coffee the next time read more

My bf told me about this place, and we had to check it out immediately! I loved the variety of plants they had on display--everything from monsteras, pothos, snake plants, and ZZ plants, to alocasias. Some of the larger potted plants were $$$, but that's to be expected. They even sell bouquets! I was thrilled to stumble upon the last Thai Constellation, which I've been wanting for a while, so I couldn't resist getting it. I was surprised to find out they also serve coffee and tea, each drink garnished with flowers. I'll definitely be back to try it out. The seating area in the middle is a nice touch, though it's limited, especially on a busy day. The staff was friendly and helpful when I had questions. Overall, I'd definitely recommend this place! read more

The gift that keeps on giving in more ways than one. A florist, nursery and a cute little place for coffee and matcha. But first a Fun Fact alert if you already didn't know. So did you know that matcha originated in China but was banned in the 14th century?! I surely didn't, and did you know that in the 16th century Japan invented shade growing and from then has perfected the craft?! Well I sure didn't. Ok now that you're up on game let me tell you what I had! I went with the popular but basic matcha latte that came with a blend of Sakura and Nishio that had a soft touch of brown sugar. Oh wow, now that was something special and I was definitely pleased with my basic but surprisingly delish drink. The service was good and there's plenty of other matcha drinks I want to try next time around. And that's my take on it, Peace peeps. read more
I grab a coffee and treat at Bloomsgiving once a week when I'm in downtown Mountain View. The store is so cute and the pastries are delicious. It's mostly a flower shop, but they have a pretty good coffee selection, baristas, and a nice (although small) display of baked goods which are 50% off I believe after 3pm. Simple and tasty, highly recommend! read more
Uniqueness: Coffee/Tea and Indoor Plants Wait Time: [x][x][x][x][x] Drink Quality: [x][x][x][x][x] Service: [x][x][x][x][x] Setting: [x][x][x][x][x] Cost: [x][x][x][x][ ] Recommendation? Plant and Coffee lovers will love this place, get any of their Japanese tea lattes! Excellent coffee shop here at Bloomsgiving that replaced what used to be the old bookstore in Downtown Mountain View. They have plenty of plants to offer and sell (at pretty costly prices) with some unique species as well. Coffee/tea here was terrific when I stopped by here. I ordered the Hojicha latte and at first I thought it was slightly unsweet, but I realized it was because I didn't stir it completely. Every drink comes with a cut flower so that's a nice little perk due to it being a plant shop. Definitely will be curious to be back to try some more! read more

Fantastic local flower deliver and apparently great coffee too! I needed last minute bouquet delivered and after viewing website called to personalize. Jessica was great! Efficient, patient (I was rushing) made great suggestions! Priced well my small bouquet was 18 and worth the 15 $ delivery fee- it was there in an hour of my call. Payment through square link was easy too. Will be my local go-to from now! read more

I was super excited about this coffee/plant shop. It's as cute as all the photos, and I love that they give you flowers with every drink. However, I was treated hostilely for using their restroom. An employee knocked on the door, I responded that I was inside, and he said I needed to get out and told me, "I don't want to have to get someone involved." That comment made me feel threatened. I later realized this was probably an employees-only bathroom, but it's not obvious when guests can easily access it. Also, this coffee shop only has 6 seats so not a lot of room if you're trying to enjoy the coffee there. I was very disappointed by this experience. read more
Super cute cafe that also sells simple plants and beautiful bouquets! They offer various matcha drinks too. I love that each drink comes with a flower. They also sell simple pastries here. The ambiance is really nice inside but seating can be tricky. There is only one table inside. As it's on Castro street, there is also outdoors seating available. read more
Cutest coffee shop and plant nursery duo! Very affordable plants (including variegated monsteras!!) as well as yummy drinks. There's a few tables inside but it's more of a drink and browse store. They have different unique flavors such as pistachio, toffee and sesame lattes for example. They also add a flower cutting to every drink you order. Parking is a bit difficult as it's located in downtown Mountain View off of Castro (blocked off for pedestrians to walk along) but it is located on the corner so it's easy to find! I've come here frequently and I still love looking at all the plants every time! read more
A cute little hidden cafe inside an adorable flower shop in Downtown Mountain View! I tried the Matcha Cold Brew (iced), which was just matcha with water (no milk). I wanted to try this drink because it was their only drink that offered their ceremonial grade matcha. The matcha taste was sooo strong, it almost made me feel like I drank coffee. You can tell that the quality of the matcha is really high and fine. However, personally, I like my matcha with oat milk (instead of water) because it adds a hint of sweetness & creaminess, so I really want to come back and try the Rose Matcha Latte. I also want to try their Hojicha Latte. I came here with my mom and she got the Rose Latte (hot). I typically don't drink coffee/ don't enjoy the taste because it's too bitter & strong for me, but I thought this latte was the perfect sweetness! It was soo yummy. I loved how creamy it was, and the rose added such a nice floral fragrance to it. I would actually come back to order this. P.S. They're also a flower/plant shop, and the flowers they sell are sooo pretty! read more

Absolutely cute spot to visit! It felt so tranquil to sip matcha and do some light work on a late Monday morning. Not sure what this place is like on weekends, but I'd definitely visit on a weekday if you want to sit down and soak up the atmosphere. There isn't much seating so I can imagine it feeling more crowded during the weekend. There's free WiFi and the overall drink selection is solid. No food options which is fine since I think this place is more meant for you to enjoy your tea/coffee while browsing plants. The barista suggested I try my matcha with almond milk which gave it a nuttier flavor. I didn't taste much rose, but matcha felt smooth so no real complaints there. 4 stars because I'll definitely come back when I'm in the area (5 stars is saved for if I'd drive to the area specifically for this place). read more
I randomly found this place when we were staying in Mountain View, and I was like "What a cute and pretty place to get a coffee!" There were so many pretty plants, plushies, and cards. I like the little perk of including a flower/leaf to the drink because it's just pretty sweet. I got a rose latte while my sister got the vanilla latte. The drinks were pretty good, and we both got a lavender-colored flower taped on with cute kitty tape. read more
Came in on a Sunday afternoon, it was a bit busy but not too long of a wait. Staff was friendly and we ordered the dulce de latte iced latte and matcha cold brew. For both drinks it was quite expensive (almost $15). Non dairy milk is an additional 85 cents which is quite expensive compared to other shops. The flowers are very pretty but was disappointed to not receive a little flower on my drink like the other customers did. The dulce de latte is was alright, not too sweet which was nice. The matcha cold brew did not have a very noticeable cold brew flavor and just tasted like watered down matcha (would not order again). Overall, cute coffee shop to visit and try a drink, but wouldnt come back for another. read more
I would definitely recommend this place to any coffee lover who wants a refreshing environment surrounded with fresh flowers and plants. I was in downtown MTV and came across this place. I was super satisfied with the quality of rose latte. I decided to buy some roses home to take care myself. Would recommend this place! read more
Super cute plant cafe! Faces box (across from tracks). - Serves limited menu of matcha, chai, coffees - interesting matcha combos like pandan, coconut. Hot matcha comes with a chocolate square! - enjoyed my pandan matcha which was just perfectly sweet for me without adjustment required. (Most are too sweet for me) - reasonably priced drinks presented beautifully with flowers! (~$6) - serves midwife and baker pastries - seating indoors, free WiFi read more
I was super excited to try this spot as a fan of both matcha and flowers. The cafe itself is cute and well-decorated, but I was underwhelmed with the product. Hard to tell from the photo, but I ordered a lavender matcha at the recommendation of the barista. The presentation was not cute and the drink was bitter. Although the staff was kind, I was underwhelmed with my order. Drinks: 5/10 Service: 7/10 Ambiance: 8/10 read more
If you're a coffee/matcha or plant enthusiast, Bloomsgiving is the perfect spot. I've been seeing this place all over social media and Yelp, and I can see why everyone was raving about it. Immediately I was in awe of how cute everything was. Interior is adorable and very cozy. Toffee nut oat latte ($7.10)-- really good espresso, the toffee nut syrup was perfect. Very rich and creamy latte, 5/5 stars! There is not much seating indoors to sit or chat at. I wouldn't come here to study due to the limited space and potential heavy foot traffic, but there are plenty of shops nearby to explore and walk around. Their menu also offers a wide variety of teas. I'm very interested to try the other drink flavors next time like coconut pandan, black sesame, spiced vanilla, or whatever is in for the season. Will definitely come back with friends or my partner for a quick drink or even to pick up a new plant baby! read more
===TL;DR=== - Iced vanilla latte w/ soy - Free guest WiFi available - No restroom available. Advise to go to Paris baguette or the book store on the block - both requires a code ===TMI=== Flower and coffee shop hybrid? I'm there. Last time I went to a place with this concept was in New York a couples year back. I'm glad we're slowly but gradually inheriting these cafe trends. Located at the corner, you'll be greeted with lovely pastel bouquets at the door with a couple of different price ranges. The inside of the cafe was surrounded with walls of plants and you can see the workers creating and assembling fresh flower arrangements behind the coffee counter. Ordered a cup of coffee and their designs were so thoughtful. Tying to the theme, they put small stems of flowers held by a cute strip of washi tape on your coffee order. What a lovely atmosphere to be and relax jn. The coffee was good, the cup size was bigger than what I'm used to. They had cute merch all over the store like plushies, keychains and small trinkets. Friendly staffs, limited seating area but not recommended with big parties. Downtown Mountain View, easy parking. Lovely blocks to stroll and take it slow as the streets are closed down. read more
This is such a cute store! Filled with so many house plants and succulents, the store doubles as a cafe serving a really good hojicha. Their matcha lattes are also pretty popular. The hojicha latte has a strong roasted hojicha flavor. Definitely a sweet treat for when it's cold. They even added a little flower on the side for decoration. Really cute and very nice and helpful staff. read more
Saw this place on Instagram and decided to come on the weekend to check it out! It's a really cute plant spot right in downtown Mountain View. There were so many different types of plants, and other cute plant things! The coffee here was pretty good and the employee here is really sweet! However, I wish there were more seats so I can sit and chill with my friends read more

Third visit here Ordered the lavender latte with less ice Coffee is good and not watered down Milk isn't overpowering Initially didn't taste the lavender but I asked for another pump and it was great The people there are always so nice, workers and customers alike. The store is so cute and had so many pretty plants. I was tempted to buy them. The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars is because I feel like the portion is a bit small. read more

This coffee + plant shop is so cute!! Loved it and would come back if I'm in the area again. Came on a weekday afternoon to grab some drinks with friends. There's not much seating inside (since it's mostly focused on the plant shop portion), and they do get busy, but people come and go fairly quickly because of the fast service. Ordered a lavender latte, lavender matcha latte, and rose matcha latte. All of our drinks tasted great. The matcha taste came through and was nice and smooth. Each cup even came with a flower, which was so cute. I also got a small bouquet for $15, which is pricey considering I can just go to Trader Joe's and get a larger bouquet for almost the same price. But it was convenient to get since I was already here, and made for a nice gift. Located in downtown Mountain View, so you can find free street or garage parking. read more
This place did not disappoint! I love the idea of a coffee shop in a plant shop. While you wait for your drinks to be made, you can browse the store but they are very quick at making the drinks anyways. I love the little flowers added to every drink too. It is a small place though with one table so keep that in mind in case. There was a good selection of plants. I think anyone can find something they would like here. There was a large spectrum of prices too so I'm sure you can find something in your price range. read more
My partner & I stumbled across this place while strolling on Castro St. It's a delightful fusion of my favorite things, plants, coffee & flowers! The entrance of the store is displayed with premade flower bouquets. As soon as you walk in, you're greeted by a table of the most majestic monstera albos. This shop is on a cozier side, and they allocated most of its space to a variety of plants. There was a large table in the center and a smaller one on the side for seating. While the plant prices were on the higher side, they appeared well-maintained! Intrigued, I decided to sample a drink and opted for the Chai Latte with whole milk. The cup had a charming flower attached to it, adding to its appeal! However, the chai itself fell short of my expectations--it was somewhat watered down, lacking both creaminess and fragrance, earning it a (1/5) rating. Nevertheless, the service was pleasant, and everyone seemed genuinely welcoming. This unique shop, with its diverse offerings and a blend of everything, maybe a bit pricey, but the overall experience and vibe made it worthwhile. I'll probably skip their drinks next time but will be coming for the plants & flowers read more

I got the rose matcha latte and I couldn't taste much of the rose flavor. Not too sweet which is great but it's just an OK matcha latte. Had the pleasure of stopping by last week. If you're thinking forward to Valentine's Day, this is a must stop with friends or even your main squeeze. I got a Rose Latte because well it just seemed appropriate. It was so pleasant, just all around nice. The rose petal garnishes really made it even more rose-y every time I went in for a sip too. They also sell beautifully arranged bouquets of flowers and have an array of indoor plants available for purchase. So go stop by sniff the flowers and sip on a lil treat read more
Stumbled on this place by accident and fell in love with the vibes! Cute little flower-coffee shop - what a dream! I've gotten their pre-made bouquets and hojicha and regular latte before.
