I'm not the type to say anything but I asked for a basic French tip and the pink part was completely transparent, I could see the dirt under my nail. Both of them take their time and always stop to ask if you are comfortable and happy with the shape, color, etc. They place extra emphasis on prepping your nails before polish, which is one of the reasons I think my nails last so long. Please keep in mind that it is only the two of them working, so they may not be able to take you on short notice. However, in the past they have kept my name down and called when someone else cancels which I greatly appreciate! Also note that it is located on Main Street so will have to find street parking.

On my first visit I was impressed with the decor and staff seems friendly and a large amount of nail colors! She is very meticulous and always pleasant. Even with the differences from the old salon I was pleased until the nail polish chipped off in a week and had to remove the polish! This had never happened before so I took pictures to show her. On my next appointment 2 weeks later I showed the pictures and she said I should have told her and she would've fixed it!!! This next appointment Isabella had a new top coat for me to use and was much better to keep the polish from chipping! I've gotten many compliments on my nails this time! The only downside of this salon is the cost of a regular manicure at $30 I feel is overpriced from the last salon I was at and paying $10 more. If I wanted to get a french or any designs they charge much more on top of the $30. So I'll stick with just a regular manicure for now.

Some were great for a short while but after some time started falling short of my standards. That has not been the case here. I have been booking services at Lavo for around 5 months now and my nails have never looked better. For starters, they have an all-star receptionist. She is so kind and helpful and on top of her job! They are a very busy salon and yet I never have trouble booking an appointment. They are as accommodating as can be. Even when they miss my phone call, I instantly receive a call or text back. I have been serviced by several nail technicians and they are all so very talented. I never bother booking with a specific tech because I know that no matter who I see, they will do an amazing job I was recommended doing soft gel manicures and it has been the best decision ever made. My career is very physical so i would often have a lot of wear and tear on my nails but not with soft gel. The gel polish never chips and my nails have never been stronger. I am usually able to go 4 weeks with my nails still looking great but ready for a fill. I love this salon and as long as I live within a drivable distance I will never change. They are cash or zelle/venmo only. So be prepared. And in my opinion they are charging fairly for services considering the quality of the work. Thanks Lavo!

I came in for a spa pedicure and chose the Jasmine Pedicure ($55). The service included wax on the bottoms of my feet and a 15-minute massage, but unfortunately, I never received the hot stone massage that was advertised. My nail tech, Linda, was very sweet and kind, but she didn't speak English, which made it difficult to explain what was missing. When I tried to get someone else's attention to help, no one really assisted. On top of that, there were unexpected charges. I had asked for a regular manicure (additional $20), but they started prepping me for a gel manicure instead. I was also told--while already seated--that it would be $10 extra to remove gel polish, which wasn't mentioned at the start. At checkout, they tried to charge me $65 ($55 pedicure + $10 gel removal) even though I didn't receive the hot stone massage. When I explained this, the clerk simply repeated the price and offered for me to get the stones after everything was finished, which made no sense. She then handed me a 10% off coupon, but by then I was frustrated. The salon itself is very clean and the staff seem nice, but be very clear about what service you're getting and the final price before they begin. Otherwise, you may end up with surprise charges or missing parts of your service.
