I have no real complaints about this business, I felt safe and welcome. My nail tech was attentive and cleaned up my nails well even though all I got was a Gell Fill in! Prices were affordable and I'm happy to have found this nail salon, I will admit it's not the most modern or up to date looking salon but they got the job done well with courtesy and kindness! Let me start off by saying this place is AWFUL. It's dirty, the customer service is terrible not to mention I had to call the COPS! I work right across the stress from this establishment in the business plaza where the doctors offices are held. My nails looked terrible during the day, I had two nails on one hand and some nearing coming off on the other. I asked my coworker for a place because I needed my nails done quick. He suggested this place and I figured since it was across the street why not give it a shot. I go in there and the first thing I say is "do you think you can see me now? I have to be gone by 5pm" I have class in Crawford at 5:30. The older woman at the front said she could take me and sat me down with a woman in front in a black shirt. While she's taking the old gel polish off my nails, she is using the gold drill which is really harsh on my natural nails (which is what she was using to grind against my natural nail) I TOLD her she was hurting me and she'd slow down but keep using the gold drill. I have been going to this nail salon for a few years now, on and off. Lately, I have not been happy with how my gel polish has been coming out. I'm thinking they have old nail polish and they need to upgrade. It definitely does not last 2 weeks. Usually just a week or so, especially if the man who sits up front does it, do not go to him. The ONLY nail tech I recommend going to is Leidi (Spanish young lady.) Also, the last time I went with my co-worker, the owner said a smart remark... super unprofessional. Went to this place because my family went to eat at Hibachi and this was located right next to it, so I thought it would be convenient to get my nails done here while my family was going grocery shopping nearby. I usually go to the Angel Tips in Edison, but it was a drive and I needed to get my broken nail fixed ASAP after coming back from vacation. **TLDR: should've waited to go to my usual nail place. Avoid this place if you don't want a sloppy gel manicure.** Upon walking in, like most of the reviews for this place, it looked outdated and dusty. A lot of the tools my nail tech used on me looked like they were unsanitized and were used on numerous other clients. The horror doesn't even stop there. I had gel polish on already so to remove it, she used a drill. She then tried drilling my right thumb that had the broken nail and it felt like that almost broken piece was about to be ripped off. I was in so much pain I told her to stop. Did she stop? NO. Took me 2 times to tell her it hurt for her to actually use the soak in acetone method to remove it. And yet afterwards, she was too lazy to scrap it off, she used the drill AGAIN. So my point here is that this nail salon is too lazy to even soak your nails and scrap off the polish and would choose to use the drill at all costs. Now maybe I'd disregard this if my nails actually looked decent. Well they don't. They look so messy and the edges are very sloppy. It looked like she was paying attention to detail, but what's the point of looking like it if the end result is absolutely below mediocre? On top of that, there are air bubbles on every single nails. She was also picking her nose every now and then, so when my manicure was finished, I had to use hand sanitizer right away because I was disgusted. So yeah don't go cheating on your nail salon because you will regret it when you encounter a place like this. read more

This nail shop is the worst. My nails are all different shapes and length. The dip powder is on some portion of my nails and it not even smooth. The top coat MeMe put on is not even smooth. This nail salon is definitely the bottom of the barrel. You might as well do your nail yourself. You would honestly do a better job. I wish I didn't have to give any stars !! read more

I went there without an appointment and got a full set of acrylics with gel nail polish and a pedicure. The older gentleman that did my nails was very nice and took his time even when his appointment got there he did not rush. I recommend this place they have gained a new customer. read more

Positives: They were not very busy. The staff was very nice and the lady who did my nails was very thorough. Negatives. It took forever just to get a gel set done. Longer than it has at any other nail salon I have ever been too. And all of that time only to have nails that I'm not that happy with. She also made my finger bleed a tad and didn't say anything about it. No "my bad" or "I'm sorry." I pretty much was not too excited about the nail job and will probably be going to another nail salon next time I get my nails done. But customer service is what saved this review. read more

This is a true gem the staff is so so so cordial and this was our first time here we had a 3:30 pm appointment and when we reached their staff was ready and the service we received was just so amazing. Their staff was super talented very hard working and they just did the right service. My dad is diabetic and they took care of his foot as he had some scars.... Kudos to the team ..... I have been a customer here for definitely over 10 years, they have taken care of most of the women in my family for as long as I can remember - it is something my mother and I do also together. When I got married they took care of my wedding party and now even though I live 30 minutes away and I have tried local places near me, nothing has compared...so now I bring my two girls. They have been great at understanding our schedules and my distance, also young children being patient - even at times they are understaffed I have understood them trying to bend, even have been flexible with my schedule also. My girls will ONLY go to this salon and refuse to go anywhere else, also they love Leidy....and the reason why I am leaving this review after this many years is - she amazed me. She is great with kids AND great with designs - while I get my gel manicure OR a pedicures (kids will only last for one of those sessions at a time) she keeps them occupied and happy. They do a great job, I have ranged from acrylic, to just plain manicures, always getting pedicures and not doing the gel manicures and that always have been kind, funny and pleasant, it is hard to find a place that has all of that through the years.. read more

I came here because the place I usually go to didn't have time for me and I needed my nails done for an event. I had a tip French set. She didn't do a good job and her lines were crooked. The shape of nails were square and looked unnatural. Her area was dirty with a lot of dust. I have been to enough nail salons and have had this done. She did not know what she was doing. The guy who did my nails was really nice but the place wasn't really clean, it was one of those we sell jewelry and maybe fake Gucci bags too if you ask . 2 minutes into my pedicure I smelled a cigarette being smoked it must have been someone in the back . There were only 3 people working and it's a pretty busy shopping center. But I gave 2 starts because of course you go for a pedicure to get your nails done but it's also a time for you to relax maybe get away from kids, Stress, work and my pedicure was 10 minutes max. I was like wow that was so fast I didn't even get one game of solitaire in. Oh well I won't be returning they definitely don't pay attention to detail! read more

Went here this morning for a basic pedicure. I did not have an appointment, but they were able to take me right away. The woman took her time trimming, filing, etc. and I was pleased with that. She also did a nice job applying the polish. The one thing that was seriously lacking though was the time spent massaging my feet and lower legs. That was pretty much nonexistent, which was a big disappointment, since that is the best part of getting a pedicure! read more

If I could do a negative rating I will give them that. I went there couple of times. Once the guy rushed my acrylic because his regular customer walked in . In three days the gel nail polish on my acrylic started peeling. I again went there since it's closer to my gym . My acrylic broke the next day. I went to get it fixed and the lady said she doesn't remember me at all and ask me to come back after2 hours since there are .There was only one customer in there at that time. read more

Website and front door claims this business closes 7:30pm on Saturdays. I was there at 6:30pm and the door was locked. There was a worker in the back cleaning up. I knocked on the door several times and called the salon from out front... Phone call was ignored (i could hear it ring and saw the woman clearly ignoring it). Finally she acknowledged me and waved a signal that they were closed. Bad Business to advertise a closing time on your front door, ignoring the customer waiting outside, and not answering a customer phone call when the employee is still present. If the salon was truly closed, perhaps the door sign and website should be changed. read more
