On my first visit I was impressed with the decor and staff seems friendly and a large amount of nail colors! She is very meticulous and always pleasant. Even with the differences from the old salon I was pleased until the nail polish chipped off in a week and had to remove the polish! This had never happened before so I took pictures to show her. On my next appointment 2 weeks later I showed the pictures and she said I should have told her and she would've fixed it!!! This next appointment Isabella had a new top coat for me to use and was much better to keep the polish from chipping! I've gotten many compliments on my nails this time! The only downside of this salon is the cost of a regular manicure at $30 I feel is overpriced from the last salon I was at and paying $10 more. If I wanted to get a french or any designs they charge much more on top of the $30. So I'll stick with just a regular manicure for now.

Halfway through, I stopped and thought, "Why am I fixing something I just paid to have done?" So I returned to the salon. When I walked in, the man at the front desk asked what was wrong. I calmly explained my concern. Without any argument, he refunded my money. At that point, I thought the situation had been resolved professionally. Instead, he then asked for my personal information, only to tell me that I was banned from the salon. I wasn't disrespectful, disruptive, or demanding. I simply returned because I was unhappy with the quality of the service I received. Being refunded and then immediately banned for bringing up a legitimate concern was confusing, unnecessary, and frankly insulting. The refund wasn't the issue. The way I was treated afterward was. Customer service isn't just about correcting mistakes--it's about how you treat customers when something goes wrong. Unfortunately, this experience showed me that raising a valid concern can get you labeled as a problem instead of being treated with respect. I won't be returning, and I can't recommend a business that responds to reasonable customer feedback by banning the customer.

There were two ladies waiting when I walked in, but since I was getting my eyebrows done, I usually get them done within 10 minutes of coming in (getting a mani/pedi takes significantly longer). I had to take my sibling to the train station in 30 minutes, thinking that would be plenty of time to get my eyebrows done. So, I waited that amount. After that time passed, still not being acknowledged, I left. After an hour, I came back in hopes of getting my eyebrows done. This time one of the workers took my into the room and waxed my eyebrows in minutes. FINALLY! .... until.... i actually looked at my eyebrows... First of all: they weren't even shaped Second of all: they look more uneven then before they were waxed Third: She took of a huge chunk in the front of my eyebrow Now when I fill them in, it is extremely visible that they are naturally uneven. I have always been self conscious about my eyebrows (because they are very light) and this truly ruined a part of self esteem. The photo below shows my eyebrow filled in. Pedicure: Mint $40 + I have to give a special shout-out to Amy! Her attention to detail is amazing. She did my pedicure weeks ago, and I was genuinely surprised when she remembered me on my return visit - despite me having completely forgotten hers! That kind of personal recognition truly sets her apart. And, as always, the pedicure itself was expertly done. Though my eyebrows turned out alright, the service was subpar. The older gentleman who performed the waxing had a very gruff demeanor from the start. He entered the room and simply told me to lie down, neglecting to pull down a clean sheet of tissue paper for the headrest - it was visibly crumpled from a prior use. I am attaching a photo of what I asked for and what I ended up getting. I feel that the photo I asked for was very elegant, and I feel that the result of what I got looked like a toddler did it. I've been here a number of times and have been fairly satisfied with the results although the technician that does my nails frequently catches an attitude, especially if you ask her to adjust something. She had said in the past that she's the professional and doesn't want anyone telling her how to do her job. She doesn't take feedback well at all. She had criticisms about the way that I was positioning my chair which was to turn it sideways each time She was doing one of my hands so that I could sit in a position that didn't hurt my back- not a big deal In my opinion. I wasn't switching back-and-forth between each nail. I was positioning myself when she was doing the beginning of the manicure, which was the cleaning and filing of each hand. When it got time to do the designs, I asked her if she can do the black design the way that it was in the photo which is to say the black French tips- some of them are curved, and some of them were pointed, and she did all of them pointed and very thin. This was after sitting in the chair for over two hours- she went to wipe all of the design off and I asked her not to do that. She said she didn't have time to do my designs and that I would have to leave with my nails plain. I told her that my time is valuable as well, and I had already sat there for two hours while she worked on a design that she obviously did not know how to do and from the looks of it did not make a very valiant effort. She said she can't copy the design 100%. I said I'm not asking for 100%. I'm just asking for the black French part to be a larger part of the nail as it is in the picture. I had to literally stop her from wiping everything off, and then she redid the tips which looked better than they did originally but still awful. The end of the manicure was tense. I did not appreciate that she did not respect my time and had me sitting there for over two hours and her resolution to it was to send me off with something that I did not ask for which was a plain manicure. I cut my losses and let her finish. She charged me $85 for this manicure which in my opinion she clearly overcharged. I will absolutely not be going back again. She is stressful to work with has an attitude and talks poorly about other people that have worked there. I don't mind paying extra for quality service, but this, like many nail salons, does not pass the vibe check after the first few appointments. If a person cannot do a design, then they should just say so not be annoyed with the customer because they have to do extra work. Charge me extra money if it's extra work, but I think it's reasonable to get what you're asking for when you go to get your nails done which is essentially a luxury service. The manicures I request are very intricate and I understand that but as a nail technician that is literally your job. If you can't do it, just say that you can't do it, but don't have someone sitting in your chair for over two hours only to attempt to send them home. I don't appreciate attitude and I don't appreciate my time being wasted. I also don't appreciate subpar results. I will continue looking for a better nail salon, where there is no attitude.
