This nail salon is professional, clearly written pricing and just very nice people. I had been…read moregoing to Michelle Ba, turns out she was off this weekend and I needed a last minute appointment. I read reviews here on Yelp and was lucky to get Oscar. Quiet, nice young man that did a fantastic job on my gel manicure Thank you again Nail Spa for an Excellent Experience!!

If I could give the zero stars I would, but it makes you put a star on here…read more I decided to treat myself to a pedicure yesterday. I know this may sound funny, but my foot feels violated. As you read, you will understand. Reasons I will not EVER "treat" myself to a pedicure at Nail Spa & Beyond EVER again: 1) My foot didn't look like this going into the salon. I was simply wanting to get a pedicure. The guy filed my already cut down toenails into the skin. There is no blood but I told him to stop as I precut my nails. I am a nurse and have seen what can happen with cutting nails into the nailed. He then went digging into my right toe even though I told him to stop I guess to cut something out that wasn't there. He did not wear gloves. The utensils were scattered on the work area and it was clear that they were not sanitized. The board was already used as well. 2) Then he was so fixated on filing my toe callus which I told him to leave alone when he asked if I wanted a special treatment for the . He then proceeded to file the inner aspect of my foot down to this sore with the other side of the file. 3) I told him while he was doing hurts and to stop and he finally listened but this damage was done. 4) The Guy takes some green liquid from a dropper and puts onto a cotton ball and puts on this bleeding sore. I told him to stop. Then he is picking pieces of cotton swab out of my wound without gloves. I told him to leave it alone. 5) He then tries to put this green liquid on again with a cotton disc and I told him to not touch it. 6) I showed the woman at the front desk the still-bleeding wound and she told me the green liquid is to stop the bleeding. I told her I am a nurse and they should not be treating injuries with an unknown "green liquid" and I came in here with a whole foot and now I have a nice big sore on me from an inflicted wound from their salon 7) The woman was remorseful asking what she can do and I looked at her dumbfounded. I told her now I have to deal with making sure this doesn't get infected and it's a throbbing open sore. She charged me half-price but i am NOT happy with how this was handled from beginning to end. I'm not even sure I should've been paying for a service that they caused more harm than good but I paid cash, did not get a receipt. I left a review when they asked for a review online I emailed them through their portal to call me and I have yet to hear anything. I tagged them on Facebook seeing if they would respond to me so we could talk about this and I've received no response today. This looks worse than it did yesterday. I went to the doctor and they ordered a strong antibiotic ointment that prevents because that's the direction a lot of these injuries go in with unsanitized tools. Be careful of who you allow to "take care" of your feet. This wound is right on the bone and while I know how to treat it, others may not and these can develop into infections SUPER quick and I have no idea what their burning, green liquid is that they put on. https://www.facebook.com/share/18S9s3ikRR/?mibextid=wwXIfr https://nailsspabeyond.com Nails Spa & Beyond
