Lauren, the receptionist, is the absolute sweetest--we always have great conversations while I wait. When I first started coming to EWC, I had a waxer who made my first experience so comfortable. She was kind and patient, which really helped since I didn't know what to expect. When she moved on to open her own salon, I began seeing Ashley, and she's been absolutely wonderful. Ashley is incredibly professional and detail-oriented. I usually get my eyebrows, upper lip, sideburns, and chin waxed, and she always preps my skin thoroughly before starting. There's so much hair left behind that I now have to do my own eyebrows again after wasting $9 ($7 for eyebrow and $2 for a tip I now regret) along with my time. It's ridiculous. They used to always give you a mirror to ensure you liked your eyebrows before paying. I'm very unhappy and will be looking for a new place. Your customers shouldn't have to redo your work the moment they get home.

The price list said that $60 was for 60 minutes, $90 was 90, etc. I chose 90 minutes and asked if I could use my debit card. They said yes, but it would be an additional $7 charge. I figured fine, I was in pain. It was an ok massage, definitely nothing special, but when I tried to communicate with her she really, really didn't understand what I was saying. So I gave her what I thought she deserved as a tip (I'm usually a great tipper, but also fair), and she shook her head and told me that for a $97.00 massage, she wanted twice as much. I know how to take care of lash extensions. I wash them daily with foam cleanser I would buy from my lash extensions place, use lash coating & I always bring a small brush wand with me every where I go to brush them all the time. Because of the covid and with places reopening, I couldn't get a hold of my usual lash place so I decided to book an appt at Lure Lash in Somerville since they had open availability sooner. I was excited. I checked out their ig and read some good reviews. I was ready to go. My appt was for 3:35pm and I finished around 6pm... I was really surprised, but I didn't complain because I didn't have anything to do later that day. But what DID surprise me was that I had 2-3 lashes that fell out that same day... then it would be 3-5 lashes the next day.. and then the next. It would happen every day. My appt was a week ago and now that it's almost going to be a full 2 weeks since I've gotten them done, you can tell that if you see them, my right eye is a lot fuller than my left. I've never had this experience.. I was disappointed. I've been to 3 different lash places, with different technicians, and I never would've had a problem this bad before :( I was disappointed, I'm sorry.
