I am disappointed is the service at your salon. I got a manicure and pedicure for my daughter and left the salon at 5pm by the next morning her nails were chipped. We cam back the next day at 3:30pm and got the "fixed" and waited until 4:30 to leave to make sure they were completely dry. By 7:30pm hers nails were chipped again. I called and instead of a refund, I was offered a $5 credit. This is the third bad experience at your salon, in which i had to come back and get them fixed. I will never be back. Seems like the nail polish was old and just peeled right off. I get nail polish from the dollar store that stays on longer when I paint them myself. I was here visiting family and need a fill. Someone suggested this salon. It started with some who took a ling time taking off old gel polish and started to gel on and I had to say I wanted powder. So then another person took over and took a ling and totally didnt understand that I wanted oval shape. After about 45 min of this another person took over. I was not satisfied with the results. They made me wait 15 minutes and then my entire manicure, for which I only wanted clear Polish was 15 minutes. The technician cut my nails too short and uneven. The manicure itself was inept at best. She cut my cuticle so that I was bleeding and had to point that out to her when she tried to just put Polish over the blood. She forgot to do one of my nails until I reminded her. Really disappointed as I've had a better experience at the Dunellen location. There are noticeable imperfections in the french gel (uneven lines and beyond the actual manicure itself the tech did not really clean up my nails - as you can see from the photos). I had two broken / shorter nails which required tips and they were so shoddily applied (I've never had such a poor application of tips). Sadly this experience felt like a real waste of money. The front desk person was kind enough to ask me if I wanted it redone or put additional layer of polish but I really didn't have time to sit and have it redone. My polish didn't last much either, only about 2 days and the shapes of my nails were 3 different shapes. My feet came out being more dry after the pedicure and I even tried putting feet lotion but clearly they didn't scrub the skin properly. Unfortunately I will not be back to place. I've been to this salon multiple times. My recommendation is to book Tammy she's the best. This particular time I needed my nails done for an event and Tammy was book. I made it clear I wanted cateye gel on the phone but agreed to go to any technician that can do it. Upon arrival I was put with a tech that overbuffed my nails to the point where they were throbbing. Then when it came time to do the cateye gel she didn't know how to do it. Betty a more experienced stepped in to complete the service. It was rushed because I was not on her schedule and I was not pleased with the final look. When I express my dissatisfaction to the receptionist. Betty became very defensive,hostile, and aggressive. I have been going to this nail salon for about 2 years. I've had great experiences with 2 of the nail techs, Tammy and Betty. They are the only reason I am giving 2 starts. I had to make a last minute appointment because my nail broke and understood I had to go with whoever was available. I went with Helen for the first time and she cut me. She even said "oh I'm sorry", but cleaned it and moved on. It wasn't until I got in the car that I realized how bad it truly was. I called to complain and to let them know that they need to clean their supplies because my blood is on them and they refuse to believe that this even happened. After I gave him a hard time, I ended up with a partial refund on my nails. I'm very disappointed and honestly grossed out at the thought that this could've happened to other clients and their blood could be on the supplies that were used on me. Not sure if I was just unlucky with the lady that did my nails or it's the whole place... pedicure was pretty sloppy and manicure was a nightmare. It was not only sloppy, uneven with previous gel left all over my finger nails, but I also suffered a horrible cut. The lady was so rough and I asked her to take it easy. She did not calm down until she chopped a great deal of my finger. I was bleeding pretty badly and they have no bandaids. They did disinfect it though. When I first walked in the salon looked amazing, you have a check in pad that allows you to put in your information and select your services. I thought that was great so everyone could have a place in line. Prices are a bit high but definitely worth every penny! I started having pain in my finger nails, so I wanted to remove the UV gel. My nails were damaged and thin due to how deep the tech filed my real nails during fill-ins. FYI to anyone looking to get UV gel- To remove the UV gel a tech has to file the gel off to remove it. I wish I would have went with acrylic nails because I could have soaked them off myself. After filing majority of the gel off or as thin as possible my natural nail was extremely delicate. They would tear at the slightest snag and sensitive to the touch. I even went to the doctor to review the damage. The doctor informed me my natural nail was pulling away from the nail bed. I had to be very careful for the next 2 months to make sure all the damage grew out without pulling more of my nail away from the nail bed. read more

I had a regular mani and pedi and while it was decent, I don't think it was worth the sticker price of $45. I Had an appt at 6pm for mani and pedi. I also called at 5pm to confirm because i had to rush there after work. I'll tell you about the time I regretted walking into Elegance Nail II. It all started two weeks ago. My usual nail tech at the regular salon I go to was out on vacation, so I decided to venture out and try a different place because I was preparing for a vacation of my own. After googling/yelping nail salons in Middlesex county I was excited to try this place because they received great ratings. So on 10/3/2017 I entered this place for the first time for a fill in, design, and clear gel coating. I was placed with the male tech with the arm sleeve tattoos at booth #5 and we began. His technique was typical up until he brought out the electric file. On one nail in particular he drilled so much it burned a little. Some discomfort is to be expected when maintaining nails, so I didn't think much of it. I paid $30+ for the service and left. Over the next few days my finger grew increasingly tender. A week and a half later it was sore to the touch, my finger tip was swollen and I was taking ibuprofen and icing my finger just to sleep at night. I called the salon and told them I needed to remove the nail. The manager Ryan was very helpful, and delicately removed the acrylic to reveal a partially GREEN NAIL! I was mortified!! He looked apologetic, but didnt apologize for what the tech had done. Instead he advised that I continue taking the ibuprofen, and proposed that I come back in a few days when my nail heals to put the color back on. I quickly responded with a very blatant "No, I'm never coming back ". If you do visit this establishment, do so at your own risk and beware of booth #5. read more

I have been too many nail salons in the last 15 years. Elegance is my favorite out of all of them. They are consistent with their work they are fast and the nails last beautifully. The only issue I have is that sometimes they are so busy that you have to wait for 10 or 15 minutes. It's clean it's decorated well it's got a clean bathroom and the staff is very pleasant. Whenever I go I asked for Lana however her husband will do my nails sometimes when she's not available and he's just as good. read more

I get uv gel - and a pedi - So the pedi is $20- but if u want them to use a scrub they charge $5. If u want a sparkle polish they charge $5 - I'm kinda confused by this as it's just a sparkle polish why is it $5. more??? And the scrub?
