I have been too many nail salons in the last 15 years. Elegance is my favorite out of all of them. They are consistent with their work they are fast and the nails last beautifully. The only issue I have is that sometimes they are so busy that you have to wait for 10 or 15 minutes. It's clean it's decorated well it's got a clean bathroom and the staff is very pleasant. Whenever I go I asked for Lana however her husband will do my nails sometimes when she's not available and he's just as good. read more

First time here and first time with extensions! I went with the hard gel tips and the gel pedicure. The nail tech Betty was so patient and friendly with all of my questions and requests, as was the front desk. I loved the tablet sign in process, that you're still required to wear a mask/wash your hands upon getting started. I love how my mani-pedi turned out overall but some elements of the process were less than great (and what's a good review without the details?). I will return, however I am planning to bring my own utensils. The mani included a used (unnecessarily hard grit) file and drill, as well as a few other unidentifiable used items... all of which made me nervous. The metal utensils do seem to come from one of those UV sanitizing "toasters" but I didn't see them used at my station (totally possible they were set there before I sat down though). I also read online that drilling the surface of your natural nails is unnecessary and not good for them (what about this is really though), but that's exactly what happened. We'll see what they look like in a few weeks when the extensions come off. However, Betty was really attentive in her work-- she was even careful to layer the gel slowly as to not burn me too badly under the UV light. Her painting skills were the best I've ever seen. Wonderful! I only wish she had gotten rid of that leftover paint/gel on my fingertip. Unlike my mani, I was displeased with the process of my pedi. I was immediately handed a menu for their scented scrub and it was not explained that this wasn't a part of the service I signed up for. I only realized I had been unknowingly up charged when I heard the woman next to me get the explanation. Thankfully the front desk did not charge me for it. I noticed at the pedi station they use plastic coverings in the basin to minimize cross contamination which is nice but the jets are still exposed so I don't know how helpful that is. I was comforted by their use of rubbing alcohol on my toes before and after the treatment. Some of the pedi utensils came fresh out of a package, some did not. The tech (not Betty) was really rough on my toes with trimming the corners of my nails and cuticles (to the point of a few yelps, some blood, and my requests for her to stop). She did not let up until I pulled my foot away- this seemed like it may be a language barrier but I felt my "stop, no" squirming and yelping was clear enough body language to get the message. Her scrub was too rough and the massage was short/sloppy. When I return I will not accept her services- they have plenty of other techs. Puzzled as to how this place has so many negative reviews...This has been my GO-TO nail salon for a solid 5 years now. While I will admit that their location is a tad too small for their large and consistently growing clientele, I have never had an issue big enough to justify not returning. The inside is beautiful and has a very chic yet not overly fancy vibe. They have a huge assortment of nail polishes. I always make an appointment with Anna. Sometimes she does run behind due to the fact that she is a highly demanded nail tech (she's phenomenal at what she does), but it does not bother me because sometimes with great service comes a little bit of a wait. Throughout the years, I have received numerous different services and can't complain about any of them. As mentioned prior, I think their only downfall is their small location with limited parking. The entire staff is talented and has a steady clientele, with walk-ins requesting to be serviced, too. FYI: Don't waste your time walking in without an appointment. Save yourself! I have witnessed too many people get stuck waiting for an hour or more merely because they thought a spur of the moment pedicure sounded heavenly. Save yourself the trouble. They are definitely a more "appointment based" nail salon. I have seen many situations of walk-ins being rushed after waiting awhile to be serviced. Trust me when I say I've been there, done that---before I found my "go-to" girl. My nails always receive numerous compliments and they last a long period of time as well. Betty is the worst nail person I have ever met. She is rude and unprofessional. I made an appointment and asked could I have my gel polish soaked off. I was told yes by the person that made my appointment. She said I had to come 15 minutes before my appointment time so I did. The receptionist placed my hands in a bowl of acetone as soon as i arrived.. I sat with my hands in the bowl for 25 minutes. Betty was upset that I was told that i could soak my nails. She said the last salon i went to used the wrong polish and that the polish wouldn't come off by soaking.. i told her she did my nails last and she got upset. She refused to do my nails. I had to walk out of the salon with my polish half gone. The front desk said there was nothing they could do about it. I have heard many bad things about this nail salon but I ignored them because it's close to my house. I obviously made an error in judgement. read more

This is the only place I will get my nails done. My standard is pink and white gel with gel top coat. However for the holiday I did choose to go with a pink gel fill with red and silver sparkle color and gel top coat. I never have my nails lift and I can go 4 to 6 weeks before I fill just because they do such a good job. Yes, they are severely over grown but that's on me. The crew in the shop is so friendly and the atmosphere is fun an light. The music is always today's latest and greatest! Oh and their pedicures are to die for! read more

If I could give zero stars I would. I highly recommend staying away from this nail salon. While the salon itself is nice looking and appears clean, the quality of the services provided are mediocre at best. Pedicures are about 15 mins long and regular manicures are about 5-7 mins. I expect my pedicures to be at least 30 mins. Especially when I am paying $30 for it. With nail salons being a dime a dozen you would think that the salon owners and staff would pay far more attention to detail i.e. Cleaning around toe and finger nail beds after polishing. Ive visited about three times hoping another person would do a better job, however they all offer C level services. Considering all of this and the fact that they wanted to charge me an additional fee to use MY glitter polish. They said the "labor" to apply the polish (on two nails mind you) required an additional fee. I don't know who they are trying to fool but they aren't fooling me. I get 1 or 2 differently colored nails all the time and never have I been charged additional for it. Don't waste your time or money. Find another place that valued you as a customer and offers you quality services for your hard earned coins! read more

I received a gift card to this location for my birthday. Admittedly, I am a natural nail, no polish kind of girl- but thought I'd take the opportunity to do something different since I'd received this gift. I walked in and announced that I'd never had my nails serviced before but was open to whatever they could recommend. I was asked what I wanted- but said I wasn't sure since i'm a first-timer. The same man told me to pick a polish and wait (curt and not very helpful). I had every intention on getting multiple services but unfortunately, the absence of customer service and any form of guidance for 1st-timers resigned me to just a basic manicure instead. Not only did my request for a design go unanswered, but i left with bubbles in my polish and a few nicks from the cuticle clipper. My experience could've been a lot better if someone had taken the care and concern to review options and services prior to the manicure. I would've even come back to give them another chance if the actual job was well-done. read more

This is the salon I regularly go to. It's definitely the best I've been to in the area. They usually do a great job. It's a bit pricy, but not too bad. You're paying for a good quality nail job so it's worth it. The only complaint I really have is that it can be difficult to communicate with the employees sometimes, which can lead to them not understanding the nail design you want and therefore not giving you exactly what you wanted. You have to be very clear. Also, some of the employees aren't too nice. They rush and don't really talk to you. I've experienced the nicer and not so nice employees, so it really depends who you get. All in all, I would say that despite the few cons, this nail salon is great. Since they do such a great job, I keep coming back, so it is def worth it. My nails always last such a long time whenever I get them done by them. I'd recommend this nail salon to anyone. read more

Anna was double booked twice and I was bumped the final time went there because they had double booked appointments.. They kept trying to charge me extra for everything and they charged me extra for a fill because of the length of my nails makes no sense when a fill is the same regardless of length. They're customer service is terrible and they are expensive. I have my cosmetology license and i know they are not supposed to drill your natural nail. When I asked her not to, she got an attitude and told me she knows what she's doing. My third time there, they rushed on my acrylics and make them bumpy and thick. Today, i asked for a pedicure, and bought my own foot masque and callus remover with me. A regular pedicure is $20 and they told me they were gonna charge me the same $35 to put it on. I told them it was ridiculous! What was the point of me buying my own products then? I refused to do it. Then they charged me $3 for sparkles. They won't get my money anymore. read more

I've been coming here since this place opened. Kim does an excellent pedicure and has been doing my nails since 2012. She does them perfectly so I refuse to go anywhere else. They offer a wide variety of Gel colors that other places don't have. It is very clean and nice inside but the customer service could be better. I've referred multiple people here and have ALWAYS made an appt in advance, yet if I don't confirm my own appt a day or two ahead they either don't have me in the book or take wall-ins and I end up waiting a half hour. I will stay loyal to this place bc of the quality of the service they provide but they really need to prioritize their loyal customers over walk-ins. My only advice is if you really like a certain nail technician to call a few days ahead to make an appt and call before you go to make sure you won't have to wait. read more

InI just left this nail salon about an hour ago and I am very unsatisfied. The customer service was very bad , the people are rude. The gentleman asked me if he's ever done my nails before I said no so he replies with then why did you make an appointment with me. On the board prices for a filling with pink and white is $35 I got charged $50. My friend went in for a pedicure on the board it says $20 so why did she get charged $25 and also having a cut from them. So when we were done I asked him why am I getting charged this much he said Oh its $10 extra for long nails mind you he cut them so I wouldn't have to pay extra and then my friend ask why hers was an extra $5,nd they said because they scrubbed her callous when you get a pedicure isn't that what we do. I will never go back there they charge way too much and this is false advertisement because you got one thing on the board and then they do stuff without telling you and to the end so you have to pay. Today was the first time I use this nail salon. I had 11 o'clock appointment and I got there about 20 minutes early. I made my appointment with Anna she was very good. The girl who did my pedicure was not so good. When she was cutting my toenails she use the nail clipper and was digging really deep. I've been to other places and my gel manicure never stays as long as it does when I come here, over 3 weeks! Anna is so sweet and takes her time, even if she's running behind she doesn't rush and she makes you feel like your the only one there. They have tons of colors! They have almost every color to match your pedicure if you are doing gel nails they will have a regular polish to match! So make sure you book with Anna she does book up quickly! read more

I always go to the one in Middlesex. The problem with this salon is that they used to charge you $16.00 for manicure and acrylics but I stopped doing this because it ruins your nails. I now have to pay $20.00 for gel polish, no manicure and if you choose a color with sparkles they charge additional $10.00. I feel most salons are doing this. They do not use a hot wash cloth and only a 2 second hand rub with very little lotion. This is disturbing. Hopefully they make some changes and do what's right. read more

She defiantly shows your feet some love, I even followed her from Elegance 1.
