I have taken my daughter (4.5 years old) with me to get a manicure and pedicure, and she is always treated like a princess. Today, we had an appointment for 6:30 (on a Friday). Despite everyone appearing busy, we were taken right away and we were both done within an hour. I think that is pretty impressive considering the amount of other customers they had. NOTHING felt rushed. Everyone was professional and kind, and my manicures and pedicures always last the longest from here. Also, the prices here are great and it allows me to come back without feeling like I'm breaking the bank. Of course due to COVID, walk ins aren't allowed. So naturally I called to get an appointment and lucky for me they had a slot opening within the hour. I rushed there and was greeted by this extremely gracious host who took my temperature and asked me to use the hand sanitizer. She requested me to wait 5-10 minutes and in the meantime checked in if I could use some coffee or water. Her energy alone was so welcoming. The salon is design with a minimalist sense yet feels very cozy. I was taken in the back room by one of the staff members who was dressed in a nice uniform. She too was very courteous. My appointment was for eyebrow waxing. She carefully listened to my needs and didn't seemed rushed at all. On the contrary when she started her work, she was slow paced to ensure that it was done right. And I have to say that her work was great. I am glad I gave this place a chance and I can't wait to make them my regular joint, and I look forward to getting my pedicures there.

She is an absolute gem and it was with complete sadness that she had to pay for the "sins" of her colleague! But hey, if you rep for your company, you gotta endure the good with the bad; and in this case...BAD ALL THE WAY AROUND! Tom is a very big-headed manicurist, who knows his craft. But without humility he makes mistakes. The first time, he did my nails (full set), I got the attitude of I should be grateful, but I shrugged it off because, my nails came out very nice and I typically don't care to cater to people's swollen heads. If you do a great job, I'm going to acknowledge it as so, and you'll get my business. I made my next appointment for 4-weeks later. On my second appointment (cut and fill-in) - he was 5mins late - not sweating it, but no apology (took note of that). Nails came out great (or so I thought), and I made my next appointment. Three days later, the acrylic began lifting (painfully). I work long days and so, it's very hard for me to just go in for a fix, so I put a band-aid over it, to keep it steady. But then another nail was lifting; and so, I drove over and requesting Tom to fix it. He asked me to come back in an hour. All fixed. Third appointment, I walk in for my appointment to see Tom beginning someone's nails and he's ignoring me. I'm standing right in front of him, thinking he was just helping a fellow manicurist, but he looks up and ask, "Can I help you?". After a quick shake of my head, I answered, that I have a 10am appointment with him. He says nothing while continuing the service of the other lady. So, I said, "Tom, I have an appointment with Tammy as well. Would you prefer I start with my pedicure?"...Continued silence. Tammy finally came over, after hearing her name and escorted me to her chair with apologies. Tom, came over after to begin my fill-in. Again, after a week, nails began chipping. My time is limited, so I fixed it myself! Not happy that the quality is subpar. Fourth and final appointment: Once again, I walk in ON TIME, to see yet again, another person in Tom's chair beginning their service. I said to Tom that I have an appointment with him for 10am. He waits, checks his schedule, then tells me he needs 20mins. I told him, I don't have that kind of time, as I am on a schedule - hence why I make my appointments a month in advance. He ignores me. After waiting 5 mins, I stand up from my seat, and quietly walk out! There are too many nail salons in this area and nearby for me to cause a scene! The execution of the pedicure and polish job was top notch as I always expect and receive at this salon. ----------- June or July 2025: Rating 3 stars For today's services I brought hubby with me for a couples pedicure session and last minute I opted for eyebrow waxing. Pedicure: Mint $40 + I have to give a special shout-out to Amy! Her attention to detail is amazing. She did my pedicure weeks ago, and I was genuinely surprised when she remembered me on my return visit - despite me having completely forgotten hers! That kind of personal recognition truly sets her apart. And, as always, the pedicure itself was expertly done. Though my eyebrows turned out alright, the service was subpar. The older gentleman who performed the waxing had a very gruff demeanor from the start. He entered the room and simply told me to lie down, neglecting to pull down a clean sheet of tissue paper for the headrest - it was visibly crumpled from a prior use. Worse, I detected a strong cigarette odor when he began applying the wax. After I mentioned it, he offered a half-hearted "sorry" but made no effort to wash his hands before continuing. I am attaching a photo of what I asked for and what I ended up getting. I feel that the photo I asked for was very elegant, and I feel that the result of what I got looked like a toddler did it. I've been here a number of times and have been fairly satisfied with the results although the technician that does my nails frequently catches an attitude, especially if you ask her to adjust something. She had said in the past that she's the professional and doesn't want anyone telling her how to do her job. She doesn't take feedback well at all. She had criticisms about the way that I was positioning my chair which was to turn it sideways each time She was doing one of my hands so that I could sit in a position that didn't hurt my back- not a big deal In my opinion. I wasn't switching back-and-forth between each nail. I was positioning myself when she was doing the beginning of the manicure, which was the cleaning and filing of each hand. When it got time to do the designs, I asked her if she can do the black design the way that it was in the photo which is to say the black French tips- some of them are curved, and some of them were pointed, and she did all of them pointed and very thin. This was after sitting in the chair for over two hours- she went to wipe all of the design off and I asked her not to do that. She said she didn't have time to do my designs and that I would have to leave with my nails plain. I told her that my time is valuable as well, and I had already sat there for two hours while she worked on a design that she obviously did not know how to do and from the looks of it did not make a very valiant effort. She said she can't copy the design 100%. I said I'm not asking for 100%. I'm just asking for the black French part to be a larger part of the nail as it is in the picture. I had to literally stop her from wiping everything off, and then she redid the tips which looked better than they did originally but still awful. The end of the manicure was tense. I did not appreciate that she did not respect my time and had me sitting there for over two hours and her resolution to it was to send me off with something that I did not ask for which was a plain manicure. I cut my losses and let her finish. She charged me $85 for this manicure which in my opinion she clearly overcharged. I will absolutely not be going back again. She is stressful to work with has an attitude and talks poorly about other people that have worked there. I don't mind paying extra for quality service, but this, like many nail salons, does not pass the vibe check after the first few appointments. If a person cannot do a design, then they should just say so not be annoyed with the customer because they have to do extra work. Charge me extra money if it's extra work, but I think it's reasonable to get what you're asking for when you go to get your nails done which is essentially a luxury service. The manicures I request are very intricate and I understand that but as a nail technician that is literally your job. If you can't do it, just say that you can't do it, but don't have someone sitting in your chair for over two hours only to attempt to send them home. I don't appreciate attitude and I don't appreciate my time being wasted. I also don't appreciate subpar results. I will continue looking for a better nail salon, where there is no attitude.
