I've been going to d&d since they opened but not anymore. my BF and I went to get "spa" pedicures like we have done before it's $55 for a spa and a $28 for regular. spa is normally HR. Ours was 25-30 tops all they did is rub some extra crap all over our legs extra quick. because it was almost closing time they rushed. now the girls across the salon from me where there when I arrived @6 but didn't start untill 635 and still there finishing up @7. so I went over and asked the girls hey what did u get? A spa pedicure they said and it was awesome. well I'm glad yours was cause ours was horrible. when I complained to the manager/owner TY all he did was say no u started earlier and took$5. Every time I come here they are so welcome. Such a nice staff and they do WONDERFULLLL job on my nails. When I get my nails done they literally last about 3 weeks with ALL my acrylics still attached!! This place is a must go!!!!! read more

I checked out this place today based on the great Yelp reviews & close proximity to my house. It was a great decision. I got a gel manicure, pedicure and my eyebrows waxed. The salon is very clean and modern in the nail technology and decor. For the manicures, they have the gel UV rays built into the nail table instead of you having to put your hand into the usual table top UV ray machines. I've never seen that before lol. The lady that did my nails and eyebrows was super nice and did a great job! Everything was flawless. The man that greets you when you first walk in was also very welcoming. They don't try to aggressively upsell services, they simply cater to what you ask for. After I picked my gel nail color, the guy at the desk told me to relax and enjoy my feet in the water and the massage chair while he found the matching regular nail polish for me. Didn't even have to do it myself. Definitely will become a regular here. read more

I got a gel manicure here when I was in town for a wedding. I chose this place because the reviews were great. Everyone here was very friendly and I was able to get in at the time they opened. That's about it for the positives. They didn't use cuticle softener which made the manicure more difficult to do. They repeatedly had to wet my cuticle with water. Also, they don't put down any type of paper towel or regular towel under your hands so the pieces of skin and nail just sit there and there was no disinfecting the surface after I was done. The paint job on my gel manicure was just horrible. It was very messy and I had to repeatedly ask them to stop painting on my cuticle (that's how they start peeling off!). I felt like I was inconveniencing them by asking for it to be fixed because someone else was waiting for a manicure. I ended up just leaving because I knew they couldn't make it right and I needed to get on with my day. My manicure is completely peeling off and it has been 4 days. read more

Very clean and friendly enough, though I didn't have the "OMG love it" experience other reviewers seem to have had. Not sure if it was my low-cost basic manicure, or my arrival an hour before closing, but the manicurist seemed uninterested in spending time shaping my nails. Asking for a square-ish shape, she cut them all bluntly square, a bit uneven and left rough edges. Before being totally upset with the end job, I asked if I could use the file, and fixed the trim myself. Polish came out great and ultimately lasted me four days (pretty solid for a not-gel manicure and how quickly I manage to kill my nails). I didn't realize there was a hand and arm massage included after my nails finished drying, but when she invited me back to the chair for it, it was rather rushed and half-baked. Truthfully I bet this place is wonderful and appreciate a clean facility. I'll try it again sometime a bit earlier in the day, and hope for a happier vibe. read more

My mother and I went to this salon because they have great hours and they are right up the street from us. The salon was very clean, and well kept. The ladies that own the salon and very sweet and even offered me something to drink while I was getting my nails done. My mom got her eyebrows waxed and completely loved it! They spent quality time doing my nails and made sure they were even and perfectly shaped. The prices were cheap (all service 15% off) I will definitely be going back from now on! read more

Can I just tell you, I love, love, love my nails. I have been going to D&D for at least a year and Lily has never let me down. She knows exactly what I want, helps me find the shape or color that I need, and treats everyone with respect and kindness. Lee and all the other beautiful ladies always greet me as if we have known each other forever and their pedicures are amazing. If you have not been there, you really need to go. I love the staff, I love their services, and yes they may get busy at times but it is so worth it. Just make it a point to go during the week instead of the weekend. I made an appointment the day before for 6:30 for my daughter's and I, made it to the nail salon at exactly 6:30 just to walk in and be told that they can't take us and have to come back tomorrow. After explaining that I am going on vacation and couldn't come back tomorrow and needed it for today, the guy sat down and ignored me while repeatedly saying "you have to come back tomorrow ". Went here based on geography (close to my house)...was looking for a new place after a bad experience with a prior salon. Went here with my 7 year old daughter and was so pleased. Wouldn't go back. Gel manicure lasted a tota19 minutes. No cuticle cream was used, so I have a million hang nails - not even a full 48 hours later. No hand massage at the end, just a dab of hand cream and that was it. Gel polish on my cuticles, so I'm sure it will start to peel in 4 days or less. UPDATE: It's been 5 days and my polish looks horrendous. It is peeling on all the corners. I will need to remove it, as my nails will look nicer and more presentable with no polish. Waste of money going to this place, couldn't even get a whole week out of one manicure. read more

It used to be a great place when they opened - still very clean which is a plus but myself and another woman have waited over 30 minutes for our appointments. This will be my last time coming here unfortunately. The owner never came over to talk to us or offer any consolation. They pretend to not understand English when convenient. They gave me wrong manicure person! This place is going in the shitter! I feel they deserve 2 stars for cleanliness! So I decided to try one more time though they didn't make me wait the receptionist lied! I asked for a certain person and she said she was not free i get there and woman I wanted was free so strike 2 then they give me some random guy who was nice but not the most hygienic! He had pen all over his hands dirt under his nails! Again nice guy but he did smell of cigarette smoke. I am going to call health inspector because there is something going on at this establishment. Disappointing experience. Got a pedicure. Poor attention to detail, sloppy paint job, uneven nails, inconsistent service between the two women who were working there. Definitely not a good deal. These people have zero clues what they are doing. One technician cut my daughter with the cuticle trimmer and then messed up her nails so bad a different tech had to take over and add tips again. My other daughter wanted pointed, almond shaped nails and even though they were shown a photo of what she wanted, the girl screwed up the nails, making them flat on top and too short to fix to be pointed. A dismal, expensive, disappointment. I would put zero stars if I could. A bunch of ill trained hacks that aren't able to understand what the customer wants even with a photo. Go elsewhere. read more

Always happy with whatever services I have received - gel manicure, pedicure and waxing. Good hours and friendly staff.

A year later- I have to truly downgrade this place. My nail polish was quickly applied, and the quality, despite being an OPI color, was poor. I saw the same bottle used on my pedicure and manicure, but my pedicure turned a different shade once it dried (same number of coats too). I didn't see them take their tools out of an autoclave or even new packaging. I felt rushed and not pampered at all. Definitely will not be returning. Only reason I'm giving two stars is because my companion's experience was slightly better. read more

People are nice but work is AWFUL!!! They do not fully remove your cuticles. They did not use any oil on my cuticles either. Gel manicure and pedicure was done in 20 mins. My manicure looked so thick and streaky for gel! And my manicure peeled right off after a few days. You also can't tip with your card so you have to go to the atm in the liquor store to get cash. I shouldn't have tipped but I felt bad because they were nice. But I would not recommend! read more

Came in here first time, the male nail tech was rushing and not paying close attention. Didn't clean nails or hands before putting on polish. Within minutes of leaving two nails were chipped and peeling, came in to fix it and he just put more polish over it! I do not recommend this place. read more
