If I could give this place zero stars I would! I had the most awful experience EVER! The communication here is TERRIBLE! I called and spoke to who I believe was Anna, I asked her if they offered dip polish or hard gel as one of their services. She told me yes, I then told her my nails are natural and that I want to soak the dip polish off of my real nails. She said ok no problem, when can you come? So I set an appointment time up and went. When I arrived at the salon, I checked in at the desk give my name and that I was here for my appointment. Which was soak off the current dip polish , trim my nails down and a new set of gel polish on top of my natural nails. Once I was seated I then AGAIN reiterated that to Linda the nail tech word for word. I knew something wasn't right when Linda did not soak off the dip polish I had on, that's normally routine at previous nail salons I've gone too. Verses cutting my nails down first and then prying my nails off with a nail instrument. She then cut my pinky nail down even shorter than grabbed the tip box and says "this is what I have to do if you want tips" I said I don't want tips! And I didn't ask for them! I then said why would I cut down my real nails to get tips? Linda then said you need to communicate with me, I told her I did tell you exactly what I wanted. I even showed you these were my real nails and you said ok. Linda then stated the owner said full set, I told Linda it doesn't matter what the owner said when I communicated with you when I said down. However Linda came up with an agreement on how to proceed to do my nails. She decided to do hard gel onlay with extensions so that I can have some length. I agreed picked out a color and anticipated to see how they looked when she was done. They were ok but I have no intentions on being back. I also felt like my service should've been discounted due to my nail tech not listening to how I wanted my nails done. I feel like that's the least they can do, especially when no one bothered to apologize for what happened. read more

I was very pleased with my recent gel manicure. I showed my nail tech a photo and she was able to recreate all the designs almost exactly. This set cost $55 which I thought was very reasonable considering I had multiple colors, different designs on each nail, and charms. It was also a pretty quick appointment- took about 45 minutes but I came with bare nails so that's saved some time. read more

The nail tech charged me $60 for a gel fill , replaced 2 nails which was fine but as far as I know they are $ 5 extra each which would be $55! Second, I told her I wanted them short but she didn't take them down enough. Third, she was rough with the heavy duty file and left 2 cuts on my pinky finger! Seriously?? You can't do what you want you're supposed to do what the customer wants!!! Wth. I will never go back there again. read more

I had an awful experience at K Nails Bridgewater. I showed the nail tech EXACTLY how I wanted my nails to look multiple times, yet she completely messed them up how do you mess up a simple black duck French tip. When I pointed out the issues, everyone in the salon acted as if there was nothing wrong and tried to gaslight me into thinking they looked fine. After a lot of back and forth, they made me wait over an hour to fix their mistake, and to top it off, they OVERCHARGED me! The lack of professionalism and customer service is shocking. This is my second time coming to K nails after discontinuing my 10 year relationship with my previous salon/nail tech, and I think I've found my new nail home! I am very particular about my nail shape and usually get simple designs with a little razzle dazzle here and there and K Nails delivered! I showed my design inspiration both times and it was executed to perfection. They have a wide array of nail colors (a whole wall full) and well as chrome, matte, and dip powder options. The salon is clean, and I've noticed the nail techs really focus on the client in front of them without talking over them to each other. I am in town for a wedding and needed a mani/pedi. Started off with a solid pedicure but their polish is a bit thin and didn't end up looking great. Then I moved to the disappointing gel manicure. He only soaked the gel for 5 minutes so of course it didn't come off. He proceeded to use an electric nail file and filed the crap out of my natural (normally strong) nails. After he finally got my old gel off, he quickly shaped my nails and completely neglected my cuticles. No soaking and pushing back my cuticles, just started slapping some new gel on my nails. Horrible experience. I called and asked if they do designs on gel nails. They said yes, bring in pictures. Day of the appt they refused to do designs. They said my nails were too short. I have designs done on these nails all the time. They wouldn't even offer a smaller, simpler alternative to the designs. NOTHING. This was my first time here and I had a very pleasant experience. I had a gentleman do my nails I think he may have been one of the owners. He took his time to do my toes and did a nice job massaging my legs . I was well overdue for a pedicure it felt good to finally get them done. I also got a manicure which I felt was a bit rushed . Update: someone suggested to contact the owner to make him aware and to give him a chance to correct. It was an inconvenience for me to make another trip but he said that he would fix it and I thought it fair to try. He was upset to know that I already posted my review even when I said I would update it accordingly. I came back the next day and was met with the same cold greeting. He scrutinized my nails as if he couldn't see what the problem was and then proceeded to tell me that it was because my nails were too short! What does the length of the nail have to do with even coverage/coats of polish and top coat??!! He started "fixing" it with another top coat which further accentuated the imperfections underneath. Then he tried adding another coat of color on top of that which obviously made matters worse - thick, uneven, and a total mess! He finally and reluctantly informed me that they will redo the polish (as if they were going out of their way to do me this big favor) which is what they should have done in the first place as soon as I came back in. The manager, Anna, redid the polish. She was a bit more apologetic but again more concerned with the rating itself rather than with what contributed to the rating - quality of the nail tech, customers' experience, and now their attempts to correct a problem. Came in on a Monday afternoon and they were busy. The wait was reasonable. The person that did my pedicure did not clean up my cuticle on 1 foot, she only cleaned up on one side. She might have been rushed or it was lunch time. I know it wasnt a lot but would have been nice. I'm not too picky but that was disappointing. Pedicure typically lasts 3 to 4 weeks for me, I had to redo mine after 2 weeks. Manicure was as expected, lasted a bit over a week. They might be better for gel or any of the other options that are not regular mani pedi. Salon was clean and price was comparable to others in the area. read more

I'm very sad to have to leave this review because my previous experience here was great. But on my last visit they were very careless with my nails and pedicure. The girl who did my pedicure cut all my toenails super short without even asking if I even wanted them cut at all. She filed them unevenly on top of that and then just painted my nails, didn't even scrub my feet or anything. Then the second lady who did my nails, it took her 2 hours to do my full set and they came out crooked and thick. She pulled my cuticle out my pinky nail and made me bleed and then was too scared to trim the rest of them...so she didn't. I had nail polish on my fingers she didn't clean. I just had my nails done at K Nails with Christine. She is absolutely fabulous. She takes her time and is meticulous with the dip nail procedure. I have had my nails done for years, but recently moved to this area. I wasn't sure who to go to, but I am estacic with Christine, and that will be who I continue to use. My previous dip nail manicure with Christine lasted four weeks with no lifting. It just so happened that I couldn't make it in my usual 3 week manicure. You will not be disappointed. Today I went to my original nail salon only to find out that it was closed down. I checked yelp and found this place. After seeing the great reviews I decided to check it out. I came in and was greeted immediately by one of the owners, Daniel. I picked my color and Daniel sat me down immediately and did my gel manicure. My nails are short and not easy to work with. Daniel was super friendly and took his time to make sure that my manicure was perfect. I had a pedicure right after my mani by another tech who was also friendly and attentive. This is my new go to salon for future pampering. If you are in the area and need your nails to look amazing, this is your place. Came in for a regular mani & pedi. Unfortunately the technician did not seem like she knew what she was doing. While doing my pedi caused me pain and to bleed. Tech did not apologize or even acknowledge I was in pain. I should have left then and there. 10 hours later after my appointment my big toe is throbbing, red, and swollen. Either have a nasty infection or an awful ingrown toenail from the tech being way to aggressive cutting my toe nails. Even my mani I left with paint on the skin around my nails .. sloppy job. I have never left a bad review anywhere. But I was really disappointed by the care and attitude of the employees. They were rude and the man was intensely aggressive. I had accidentally spilled coffee and I was very sorrowful about it however he threw a towel at my face while my mom and I were cleaning the coffee off the floor. Throughout the time he was doing my hails, he was inattentive, aggressive and angry. My mom and I still continued to leave him a gracious tip which he didn't even acknowledge, he just grabbed it. "Tina" was a disgrace. She kept accidentally cutting my cuticles causing me pain. I only flinched and kept quiet. When I asked about getting a design they had on their Instagram page, she could not answer me and started yelling in her language and walked off to a back room and never came out. All she kept saying was the price when I was asking how it was done. I had to say to her, I have enough money, please just tell me what kind of polish is that. Tina was yelling but refusing to look me in the face. I asked was there a problem when she walked off?!?!?! She never came back to polish my nails. Another lady came and did the polish. I asked for designs and was told to dry my polish. After I dried it, I went back to my original chair and waited. Noone came over to help me. I politely went and paid and left without getting everything I wanted. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! SLOPPY WORK. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS BUSINESS TO ANYONE!!! I drove 45 min in morning traffic to get my nails done here because yelp advertised the salon to me. Their pictures looked amazing and I needed a new nail tech so I was really excited about bringing my money here. Unfortunately my nails look NOTHING like the pictures; they are average and compare to any other salon you would walk into. Their selection of polish is underwhelming and outdated compared to other places I have been. My gel nail polish started wearing off just a day later, and my polish is already scratched up and foggy. The nail tech who did my nails also did not paint all the way down to my cuticle therefore I will have to go get a fill even earlier than my usual two weeks now. I was incredibly disappointed with the service I received. I came in on Thursday for a manicure. Let me preface all of this with I don't live in the area so this is not my regular nail salon. I had a wedding Friday and was crunched on time to get my nails done. I would normally have gotten a gel manicure but I was coming in during my lunch break and knew I wouldn't have time. Let's start with the location. It's in a strip mall on a main road in Bridgewater. It's a good spot but the general salon is dated and dingy. I had made an appointment earlier in the day to be safe since I had limited time. When I was greeted they did not seem to know that I'd made an appointment. However they took me right away so there was no wait. The technician that did my manicure was rude and unprofessional. She seemed more interested with what was going on, on her cellphone than actually giving me a decent manicure. At one point I waited about 2 minutes for her to get off her phone and finish my manicure. She kept a mask on the entire time, which is fine. What was not fine was the fact that she continued to whisper instructions to me to the point where I had to ask multiple times for her to repeat herself. The manicure itself was terrible. She did 3 coats of polish and you could see where each coat ended. Everything about it was sloppy. From the polish to my nails being crooked. Worst part is that within 12 hours of my manicure, almost every single nail had chipped. Would definitely not go back and would not recommend this place to anyone. read more
