First, i've been going here since they opened. The vibe is really nice. The services they offer are also good. Also, recently they removed items that were previously included in the spa pedicure and calling them out as separate items. That aside there are two primary hosts. One of them is lovely. The other needs to get a lesson in customer service. She's gruff and rude. Just does not set a great tone when you are entering or leaving the establishment. She acts like she is doing the customer a favor. For this reason I will be looking into alternatives, there are many in my area to consider. read more

Did a gel pedicure with Lily and it was one of the best I've had in a long time! I did upgrade to one of the spa pedicures rather than just the regular, and loved all the add ons (especially since it wasn't much more expensive than a regular gel pedicure). I also had a full gel x set done by a guy named Jay I think? I do my own gel x and like a specific shape and length so I brought my own tips, and the service was pretty great overall. I had two good experiences here- but Wendy annihilated my cuticles. They all are so raw- hurts to even wash my hands- and I left with 3 cuts. Getting cut while getting a manicure is the kiss of death for me. I'm also pretty shy and rarely say anything but after the third bleeding nail I told her and she said "cuticles"...I get gel on my nails every 2 weeks for the last 10 years and only bad manicurists cut me. If you want your cuticles raw and fkr your manicurist to ignore you def go to Wend Also I told her NOT to cut my nails- just file and she cut them. Just a bad service. Got my nails done on Thursday afternoon and it's Saturday morning. 4 nails chipped and I called them asking if they could fix them. She said you can come in, but you'll have to pay. My mom and I have been coming here for awhile... it's very sad to say that they don't care about their clients. You now lost my mom and I.. we will find somewhere else that values a happy client. This place sucked. I was encouraged by the appearance of this nail shop but EXTREMELY underwhelmed with my service, the price, and the end result. I paid $45 for the Dream Dream spa pedicure and my toes look like trash. Issues: -The girl got the hot towels at the beginning of my service so by the time she put them on my legs, they weren't hot. -She was aggressive. Instead of the gentle tap to let me know my feet should go back in or come out of the water, she'd push my feet. -my service was supposed to include a 10-minute, hot stone massage. It didn't. -I didn't opt for callus removal, but she didn't even scrub enough to get the dead skin off my foot. -you can still see my old green polish in the crevices of my toes -the shape is totally off. -I had to take the toe separators out myself which was nerve racking because it was just a paper towel tied around my toes. -She DID NOT PUT LOTION, OIL OR ANYTHING on my legs and feet -SHE LEFT some of the exfoliation scrub on my calves. -I asked the manager for something to wipe them off and he told me it was lotion. I explained to him that I didn't have lotion put on me. He told me I did. I told him I didn't get that or my massage. He didn't believe me. He went back and watched his cameras.... then he gave me a 10% off coupon for next time. Ummm, I just paid $45... wtf? -I waited an additional five minutes for the wipe for my calf. I am LIVID. Making your appt and a confirmation text is nice, the sanitizer/temp check was fancy! I got a regular pedicure as my intro to this place and it was very nice with hot stones for a quick massage. They provide you books while you sit for color selection, the choices did not disappoint! On to gel manicure, I always get picky here but it was very detailed and quick. Got my card with color number and my girls name. You can tip cash or card, there is an atm inside. They also give you a points card- rewards!! Would def recommend giving it a try. Came here last minute but was also able to confirm with them over phone call that they can take walk-ins in the next 10 minutes. Was really glad they had open spots as we initially went to another nail salon not realizing they're already fully booked for the day. The place is really spacious and looks new. Price wise, it's pretty decent. However, the nail tech I had, May, was pretty rough at taking out my cuticles. I bled on 3 of my fingers. The nail design is decent but could be better especially for the french tips (lines were not smooth). She felt bad for cutting my cuticles like that, that I think they lowered down my price.. I opted for gel on my natural nails. I liked how it turned out, the design, shape and size. I don't have a deep nail bed so I know it would never look as good as my reference photo but I didn't mind. Before this though, I had dip nails that I despised so much after having it for 2 weeks. They charge extra $5 since I went from dip to gel. My cousin who I also dragged with me to this place didn't get charged from changing gel to gel polish so that's a good thing. First of all, the good reviews on here are just to get discounts. I've been coming here since it opened. It was good until they started getting more customers. Every time I call they mess up my appointment and even when I do schedule a time..I end up waiting 30 minutes. I called for an appointment at 1 and they told me 2 when I got there (I specifically said 1pm on the phone) I waited and came back only to wait an additional half hour. Started off great but my gel powder nails cracked the second I got home, went back to salon where they "fixed" the 2 broken nails only to go outside and see it was still cracked. I'm so incredibly annoyed with my service I couldn't even wait to go home to write this review. I have been to this salon numerous times and after today I may never come again. I asked my nail tech to do a chrome nail and she advised me that it would be $3 extra which I agreed to. At check out, I was charged $55 to which I asked why it was priced so highly. The lady at the check out told me the chrome was actually $20 extra. I told her that I was informed it was only $3 to which she apologized. I explained I would have never gotten the chrome if I knew it was so much more in price and despite being apologetic she would not honor the price I was initially told. The "best she could do" was give me a "warrant" on my nails stating if they chipped or cracked in the next two weeks I could return and have my nails fixed. This is actually theft. Well... I was really disappointed today. I felt that I helped make this business successful and today my appointments got 'bumped'. I didn't receive a phone call to let me know. After leaving I called and I spoke to the manager and they offered me $10 off. I declined because I normally spend $100 plus 25% tip This afternoon the manager called me and we both agreed that it wasn't the best experience. But they acknowledged that I have gone to this salon every two weeks for 3 months, I'm no stranger. Best nail salon that I've tried so far in the Martinsville area. They don't take too long for gel refills nor cut the cuticles deep where your fingers get infected badly by their *well-trained nail techs. *Suggestion: Find a nail tech that you like for manicures. Some are better than others and friendly. So if you request the same person, you won't have any issues. Pedicures were always done well by several techs! Best nail salon I've been to in a long time! They truly provide a luxury experience. I'm still a bit new to this area and found the salon on yelp while looking for something close to home. They give you books w all the gel color options neatly organized, instead of making you look through a bunch of colors on a key ring like most places I've been to. They also offer massages while you're getting the manicure, and I was pleasantly surprised at what an amazing massage it was! For starters, this place is very clean and pretty. It gives off top notch vibes. I would love to give it 5 stars but I honestly can't. I've been to this salon numerous times and it's always a hit or miss. Whether is the service, the price, or the staff... I went to get my nails done about two weeks ago, I got done basic pedicure and gel manicure. I had acrylics on and they needed to remove it. They don't ask or give you the option if you want to get your acrylics soak off or rip them off. The guy who did my nails just went ahead and cut them and removed them with a clipper. I always ptefer to get them soaked off... also as he was cutting my cuticles he pulled off my skin off with his finger, i started to bleed but I said no worries it doesn't hurt. The person who seems to be in charge saw it all but he just stood by.. i got my pedicure done, pretty decent and I tipped the girl who did it.. when it was time to pay i approached the front desk and payed for both of my services cash. i was putting away my cash back when i get asked by the front desk girl "are you going to leave a tip for the guy who did your manicure"... i felt very uncomfortable being asked that question as a customer, especially after the service I received from him. read more

The place is really clean as it just recently opened. The actual experience of getting my nails done here was not great. I had a nail tech that was clearly not experienced in doing nail dip. He kept rushing and when he did the top coat he had to reapply twice because he wasn't waiting long enough for it to dry before putting the hot towel. I finally spoke to the manager and he got someone to fix the mistakes (it was lumpy and clearly mishapped.) I went their initially on 3/12. It's us now 3/22 10 days later and my nails look like I've had them done for three weeks. Usually my nails last a month with nail dip. But clearly they won't last that long this time. See pics below. Normally I get a gel manicure with Hannah and she does good work. I did not have Hannah today, I got a regular French manicure this time. I ended up asking the woman to take it off and paint it a solid color because the lines were so uneven and she had already took it off 2 times before me asking and I had been there for over an hour already. She used her rubber glove finger to wipe the tip of my nail which made the polish not smooth. My nails are so jagged because she didn't file them properly. I genuinely don't believe that the people working here actually have cosmetology licenses. i'm addition to the manicures we both got we also got pedicures and i assume they were in a rush because they never let the paint dry before we were brought to the tables to get our nails done. After our manicures the last realized that she messed up on my sisters toenails and ended up repainting it. SHE MADE MY SISTER LEAVE THE SALON WITH PLASTIC WRAPPED AROUND HER FOOT.
