Very disappointed with my experience in this salon, my last visits have been one of the worst experiences I have ever had. All the times I have visited this salon I always prepare myself mentally to give it one more chance but unfortunately this was already my last visit, they don't charge for their work they charge depending on how they are feel that day, I will never go again I always leave disappointed by the price or the work done on my nails. How is it possible that a fill cost more than the original set ?!! And I have to pay for them to fix the nail polish that fell off my nail the next day after getting them done ( they told me don't choose that color again because it's a bad manufacture) how am I supposed to know that ? I asked for a full set of acrylics and to remove my gel x and she straight up said no. I asked her again she gave me a little sas and continued to rip off my gel x with tweezers. Not sure if this bitch was fucking licensed but that's harmful to the nail. My friend booked us mani-pedi apts together a week in advance. When we showed up it seemed they had no clue about us. My friend was sat at the other end from me so we weren't able to talk the entire visit. While my pedicure was being done a woman walked in who stated she had a 10:30 apt with the man doing the pedicure. He told her "oh well" and that she could come back around 1 if she wanted. She told him she had an apt and didn't want to come back. He yelled across the store with another worker for several minutes, then told her to come back at 1 if she wanted her nails done. It was so awkward as she was really mad at me when I had an apt too and had no fault in the issue. He kept pushing gel manicures but I told him I wanted plain polish. He pushed for gel the entire pedicure and into the manicure but I said no each time and it was very awkward. He then used a dremel on my nails that left deep dents in all my nails as shown in this photo two weeks later. The polish chipped on 6 fingers the very next day, it didn't even last 24 hours. I was super dissapointed with the entire experiance and will not be going back. Maybe they do great gel but if you want an apt honored, regular polish, or to be near the person you booked with, go somewhere else. read more

And if you ask her to fix something, she's happy to do so. This place is not a fancy salon by any means and honestly, they could probably use a good deep cleaning. But a gel mani for $25 with Kim is totally worth it. My cousin got a spa pedicure with her and she spent 40 min massaging her feet! Don't go in the afternoon - they're always packed. This was my first time coming here, I walked in asked if they take walk ins and it was a yes. this nice lady sat me down immediately (I wish she was doing my nails lol) and she called her coworker over Tony. Everything was going great until it was time to add the nail polish. I got simple French tips and it was a little too fat and I wanted it skinny so I told him that and he got mad and sucked his teeth like I was in the wrong. After that i'm already on edge because he gave me attitude. While I was putting my hand under the light I hit my finger which caused me to mess it up, he seen me do it and again sucked his teeth and rolled his eyes. Moral of the story, I won't be going to him again but he did do a decent job. But I do recommend coming back here! read more

I live in Somerville and have never gone to this salon before. I decided to give it a try and can tell you I will never come back here. My pedicure lasted literally (I timed it) 11 minutes. The guy did not even give me any sort of foot massage, he just rubbed in cream on my leg. No scrub, nothing. Barely touched my feet at all only to put polish on. There was no care put into this at all, and if there's anything most people want, is a great pedicure. I've been coming to this salon for 5 years and I recently moved away for school and had to find a new salon because this salon was too far of a drive. I asked the new salon to remove my acrylics because I wanted a gel manicure on my natural nails and that's when they told me that there was MMA in the acrylic they used for me. If you didn't know MMA is highly illegal and TERRIBLE for your nails. It breaks my heart that I've been getting such terrible quality from this salon that I recommended to so many family and friends. I've been here twice before with an appointment. Was pleased with service. I walked in on a Saturday around 5:45. There were 2 people in front of me. In the meantime two people walked in. After the original two people, they called the other two. Maybe they have an appointment so I didn't say anything. They make you feel welcome and at home and are on a first name basis with almost everyone who walks in the door. I get gel tips and work a lot of shifts as a bartenders and I have to tell you their work lasts 3 weeks without breaking or separating! Unbelievable!!!! Plus they have a huge selection of gel colors! When they do the pedicure, it's not just painting your nails, they trim your cuticles and even cut the ingrown toenail!! She always asks "are you ok?" I got my nails done and they were all completely off one week later concluding the acrylic quality is only good when the nail length is very short. If you get your nails any longer then less then half of the tip, expect them to be off a week later.
