We were 4 in our party and had booked in advance. There were several people in the shop to attend to customers and it was not so crowded as we'd early morning appointment. Still only 2 were attending is and they were attending other customers while we were waiting at the chairs with legs soaked in warm water. It took 2.5 hours for all 4 pedicures to be completed. Glad we did not book for manicure else it would taken entire day for us. The service was decent. Nothing fancy. The wait was a little too much. Surprised at the harsh reviews but I frequently go to this nail salon and have never had a problem. I've had multiple different nail techs, even had the male employees and my gel manicures have always lasted 2 weeks plus. It's also great that they are open late until 7pm so you can stop after work. The establishment itself is fine- clean, pleasant and nice atmosphere. The issue is with one employee himself. Peter is very rough when dealing with your nails and does not communicate at all- just grunts and groans when he wants you to move your hand a certain way. Very unprofessional. His attitude overall is unpleasant and unwelcoming. Like he doesn't want to be there or you're inconveniencing him. First of all Peter didn't cut me at all which I had a problem with at every other place, he made my UV gel nails on my natural nails look thin and clean as if they're my real nails. Got a gel manicure 4 days ago and it was not good. The man who did my nails was very rough and made one of my nails bleed. I also think the polish and/or the UV light was old because my nails look like they have tiny light bubbles underneath the polish. In my opinion and my personal recommendation from my experience never go here if you care about your nails . Worst experience here . Came to get my tips re filled. Peter was my nail tech . From the beginning he was so rough and kept pulling at my hands . He pricked me twice with his nail machine and cut me .He started filing down my nails completely making them so small . I asked him to fix a nail on my left hand as my left middle finger nails was longer than the rest. He immediately got so rude and started yelling that its the same size. . He kept arguing that it's the same size he didn't even care he made me bleed with his machine : then the manager Fiona stepped in . She is also arguing with me that it's my nails not peters work . She then decided to help me out and fix it . Instead of fixing them she made them worse . She instead tells me it's not Peters fault it's my fault it's my nails .. she kept arguing with me and telling me Peter does good work no one complains about him and it's my fault . Fiona who claimed to be the manager told me she will do it for free . At this point it wasn't about free it was about the mess they made on my nails . I ended up walking out with a half ass job on my nails as I couldn't have them ruin them any further . She told me she was patient for too long but and "I was being too difficult"she told me never to come back again and I am a very difficult customer we dont want to deal with. ( All for asking for one nail to be filed down). These people don't know what they are doing , they have no idea what customer service is and don't like when you correct them on a horrible job done . I went here to get my nails done after a few months. I got an acrylic full set and a pedicure. I took these pictures three days after getting them done. You can see that the acrylic nails are all shaped differently, with some being wide, too skinny, uneven, and mishaped. Some nails even have air bubbles that show too much and too little polish. My T did my nails and managed to cut three circles and made them bleed. She brushed it off like it was nothing and got annoyed when I pulled away when she began to buff my nails, making the cuts burn. I asked her to fix some of the uneven nails, and she told me she was planning to file them down. While sitting in the chair and have her dozing my nails, they were still not up to my satisfaction. I saw that the nails were uneven and the lack/too much polish on some were evident. On the right thumb mail, You could clearly see that some of the gel powder was missing. By this time, there was a regular customer there getting a pedicure and a manicure. The second woman was a sweet Hispanic women, but I didn't get her name. She said that my toenails look fine and that they had already been cut down prior so she would not cut them any further. If you look at how she painted my toes you can clearly see a four-year-old could have done a much better job. When I came home and showed my husband my pedicure he said why would you pay $75 for all of that? He said he could've done a better job because it looks so sloppy. On top of that they were supposed to be a discount for new customers and when I asked On top of that they were supposed to be a discount for new customers and when I asked My T Said that she cannot give me a discount even though it was advertised. I can't believe I paid $75 plus tip for such terrible service. The Hispanic woman was very nice and made the pedicure feel nice, but she did not put enough nail polish on. That made it look messy and I feel like a child could have done a better job. The other customer had already left and it was mauled with the three workers. When it was time to check out, My T came up to me and told me it was $75 while I was having my toes dried under the dryer. I was surprised because that's was quite a lot for acrylics and a pedicure. She also asked if I am going to tip her on the card or do cash. I thought that was very rude of her to ask for a tip, even though I was planning on leaving it anyhow. It was clear that she was waiting on the tip before leaving for the night. This was my first and will be my last time at this place. I will stick to my usual nail salon, even if it means having to wait a few days to get an appointment. Although the pictures were taken three days after I got them done, the nail polish peeling and the overall look of my nails shows that this is bad quality all around. This establishment has gone downhill. My sister and I used to come here quite frequently before moving out of the area. We recently decided to make appointments for manis and pedis before vacation and had a horrible experience. We both had appointments for 2pm and weren't seated until 3pm. After being seated, we sat with our feet soaking for an additional 30 minutes before anyone came to begin the service. Once the pedicures were done, I sat in Peter's chair for my manicure. Peter seemed frustrated from the beginning, as his previous client requested that he change her color 3 times because she did not like it. All I wanted was a simple white gel manicure...no designs or tips. Peter was very rough with my hands, pulling them and aggressively turning them the way he wanted them instead of telling me how he'd like me to position my hands for him to apply the polish. I was not satisfied with the job as Peter did not paint the edges of my nails. I pointed it out to him and he said "I know!". Peter stated that he would apply oil at the end once my nails were dry to fix the issue. That did not work and when I pointed it out again, he clearly became frustrated, walked away from me and began to shout to his colleagues in his language. I'll never come back here again. The worst nail salon I've ever been to. Every time I've gone there, with an appointment, I've had to wait at least 30 minutes before someone actually took me. Even after they finished the nails, they were poorly done. They barely cleaned them and the paint job was rough. I would not recommend even if they were the last nail salon remaining in New Jersey. Not sure why the reviews are so bad, I've been coming here for 13 + years. I've tried plenty of nail salons in town and nothing compares. I've done everything from tips to gel, and shellac. Shellac is what I pretty much stuck to since it came out. Fiona and Peter do an excellent job. Recently they started doing dip nails, which I now love since I naturally have thin nails. I have Peter do them and he is great at it. They look like shellac but much stronger! He is able to give me a thin, natural look. While your top coat is drying they give you an excellent back massage.m which is nice and relaxing. I also love the spa pedicures here for the price I think you get your money's worth. read more

I want to give this place better reviews because of its convenience and good pricing. However the incredibly rude staff makes it difficult to do so. I came in on a Sunday afternoon with my mom and sister and we were all getting a manicure and pedicure. The lady at the front desk was not at all helpful in helping us match colors between regular and gel nails (which is standard customer service at a nail salon). Then they had my mom sitting and waiting for a solid 20-30 minutes before anyone started working on her nails. If that was the case the onus is on the front desk to let us know ahead of time. I love this nail salon! They are very nice. Leo does my nails (I have gel) and he really takes his time to file my nails and make them perfect! When I first when there I had acrylics but they don't use that due to the chemicals. It's nice to walk into a nail salon and not have a strong smell. The pedicures are quick if you get the cheapest one but they do offer different types of pedicures and some sound very tempting! When your nails are drying under the lights, you get a great shoulder massage! I've never had that while getting my nails done before! And for the holidays they gave me a great lotion! I have to add my review because I am tired of reading about the horrible experiences of others. I would like to add that I have been coming to this location for years and if I try another nail place, I ALWAYS end up coming back. Fiona is wonderful, caring and kind and the ladies and gentlemen who work at Angel Tips have never treated me with anything but kindness. I have taken my daughter (4.5 years old) with me to get a manicure and pedicure, and she is always treated like a princess. Today, we had an appointment for 6:30 (on a Friday). Despite everyone appearing busy, we were taken right away and we were both done within an hour. I think that is pretty impressive considering the amount of other customers they had. NOTHING felt rushed. Everyone was professional and kind, and my manicures and pedicures always last the longest from here. Also, the prices here are great and it allows me to come back without feeling like I'm breaking the bank. In short, before deciding that this nail salon is not good based on reviews on Yelp or Google, I would encourage you to check it out for yourself. I really can't believe that this nail salon isn't more highly rated. This is the first Yelp review I have ever written, and it is only because I feel very strongly that Angel Tips is wonderful! I purchased a living social deal for a mani, pedi and waxing at Angel Tips. Realizing the deal was almost expired, I called to book an appointment. Luckily they are open on Sundays (rare for nail salons) so I made an appt at noon. Unfortunately I got a little lost (the salon name is not posted on the strip mall sign). I called and spoke with the receptionist and she gave me some clarification on their location. After I arrived, I waited for about 10 min until I was seated in the pedicure chair along with 2 women who came in after me. A gentleman handed us menus of services and I gave him my living social voucher. He then told me I would have to wait as he and another lady started working on the two women who came in after me. This left me a little confused (not only did I have an appt, but I also came in before these women and was being left to wait, -1 star). However, their pedicures were done in a quick 20 minutes and it was then my turn. The mani and pedi were very speedy- I was done in about 50 minutes. I have to say that looking at my nails now, my manicurist did a flawless job. Although the spa experience was quick, it was efficient with a good end result. The massages during the mani, pedi and when I went to the dryer were brief, but pretty good. I skipped the waxing since I am very particular about where I get my eyebrows done, but other women did utilize their waxing services while I was there. The salon has a variety of Essie and OPI colors to choose from and the interior is cute with red handing lights and some other accents. This place was awful. Bought it as a groupon and I definitely got less than I paid for. The "lemon pedicure" is a sham. My pedicure lasted 15 minutes and he didn't clean under my nails. The "massage" if you could call it that was scrimpy at best. He then gave me a manicure without soaking my hands or putting cuticle oil. I was told I had to wait for one of the ladies for my eyebrow wax which was fine but 40 minutes later I left without it bc it's ridiculous to wait that long for something that literally takes less than 5 minutes. I think not. :( This was my first time coming here, I thought the deal was good since I paid about $33 for all that. One gel manicure alone costs about that much. The pedicure was not a lemon pedicure, it was a plain pedicure that lasted maybe 25 mins. I don't even want to think about the condition of the wax used. You must use your imagination during a pedicure since it's over in about 8 minutes! My toes barely got a soak! During my prescheduled appointment, between my pedicure and manicure, the nail tech took two other customers while I waited (1.5 hours for a mani and pedi). At the end of my appointment I presented the "manager" with a gift certificate with a remainder of $4 left on it. They said they could not accept the GC since it was issued in 2013. I argued stating that monies have been deducted from it in January of this year, and that it is NJ law that GC must be honored for 5 years (sometimes depreciating in value). I even showed them proof. The manager laughed at me and began speaking in Korean (I believe), at that, I walked out. It wasn't about the $4, never was. I come here all the time because it's close to me and not too expensive. However they are understaffed and over booked. Don't go here unless you have two hours to spare. If you are getting acrylics there's only two people in the salon that are capable of doing them half decent. There's been multiple times where I made an appointment and had to wait, then I was started on and stopped half way through and had to wait another 20 mins.
