I went yesterday with my daughter to get two ice coffees. I thought everything was fine until I realized they were ignoring us, making it very difficult to order. Once we were finally able to order our coffees, I got into my car and tasted my drink which was absolutely disgusting. It's tasted rancid and was undrinkable. Unfortunately my daughter and I had to throw away our full drinks. I even tipped the workers thinking maybe they had a hard day. Very disappointed in this establishment and hope it improves soon. I am a local and this was my 1st visit and will be my last.. I did not enjoy my coffee it was way too sweet and the customer service was absolutely horrible. None of the employees were friendly and seemed very unhappy. There was no urgency and we waited a very long time for their coffee. Okay, can we just talk about their avocado toast!? Picture, a thick cut of fresh rustic bread. Crunchy crust and dense heavenly inside. Topped with avocado, olive oil, chia seeds, salt and pepper. My husband and I love coming here for the iced LVTM (light vietnamese coffee). The regular VTM is a little too rich for us, but the LVTM is perfect for our tastes. We've also tried the LVT Matcha, which is a delicious blend of vietnamese coffee and matcha. It can get very busy weekend mornings, but it doesn't take too long to get your order. Honestly I've given this coffee house so many tries to be decent because I live a few streets away and it's convenient, but BLKdot is actually horrible. The staff is lazy and untrained and they fill your iced coffee with ice past the top of the cup to give you the least amount of actual coffee possible. One time they ran out of cold brew and they just filled the last 1/3 of my coffee with water and gave it to me...their food is the worst breakfast food you can find in Laguna...all around bad place. I can't believe how good their VTM iced coffee is! I don't drink sweetened coffee drinks but I was given a sample and had to get it, amazing!! Got a chicken sandwich and it was also fantastic. After a day of biking, had to go back and try their iced latte... delicious but can't beat their iced VTM coffee. The customer service was good... the sausage bamni was okay, kind of basic... Vtm coffee was good, so this is what I'd recommend. During covid 19... there is this one issue that bothers me... Most people are tipping more... I tipped $1 in change and at another place in laguna... They didn't ask and just put my change in their tip jar...? That's not here but I asked for some extra milk on the side I said any extra milk even just 2 ounces would be good... Sadly what turn my overall normal impression of the place to a slightly negative one is... I literally got a 1-2 oz dressing container of milk.... Covid 19 is not going to last for ever but the way so many business are restricting milk and expecting tips. Costumers are trying to meet the tipping expectations but I won't forget these expectations business have for more from their customers. read more

The vanilla was ok but their almond milk, like many other coffee shops, tasted like chemicals. Prices are steep (paid almost $6) and they don't make their own syrups, which I find to be annoying. Everything list tested kinda fake like Starbucks' syrups, etc. I shoulda just opted for Starbucks. Woulda been the same quality.
