Coffee lover and omg this has got to be one of my new favorite coffee shops! So delicious I have been craving it ever since. The Vietnamese iced coffee and the iced coffee with white mocha were amazing! The baristas were all so nice as well and when I asked what was good they offered me samples! Kind of hard to find in the google center but such a nice outdoor seating perfect for getting work done. Parking is not free but they do validate. I did not stay more than an hour but the barista made it seem as if I needed more than 1 hour validation he could give it to me. Can't wait to go back! read more

This place is pretty cool. The Vienamese Iced Coffee is INTENSE, buyer beware. If you like super strong coffee, I highly encourage you to give this place a visit. This review is about the milk tea. i don't recommend getting it. It tastes like Lollicup. I think Lollicup uses some kind of milk tea powder. The tea feels like some amalgamation of boba and water and the flavor isn't very strong. When the ice melts, you might as well buy yourself some Aquafina. If you're looking for some yummy milk tea, I recommend you save that craving for an actual milk tea place. On the upside, the sweetness is on-point. Also, the service is pretty good. On my quest for a new coffee shop to fill my heart and I eventually heard about this place. I decided to check it out on a Tuesday at 4pm to stay awake for traffic hour. The sun can be pretty harsh depending on the season but if you're inside, they can close the blinds to provide shade. Feels: * It's a unique non-chain coffee shop in a corporate setting...the irony. If y'all been to Mick's Karma Bar, the setup is similar to that with less aesthetics but a calm and corporate environment. The coffee shop itself has pretty nice and simple aesthetics. Great place to study, catch up with a friend, for a more hidden yet calmer scene. Food: Vietnamese Coffee * This is some strong coffee. Too strong for my taste but don't hesitate to ask for more milk to sweeten it up. Customer Service: The servers were on point. They greeted me as I walked in and gave me a sample. First off, I want to say that I want to give 5 stars because the Vietnamese iced coffee has the BEST coffee flavor than any other Vietnamese iced coffee that I ever had. That being said, there's simply too much ice and not enough coffee. Secondly, I was only the second person in line at 10:30 am and I ordered a bahn mi sandwich. I kid you not I waited 15 minutes for a sandwich because the guy making sandwiches had one speed-turtle mode. And my sandwich didn't even have all of the items on it! Two ways to improve: 1. This was my first time at BLKdot, and overall it was a good experience. I was happy (and excited) that they have lots of types of milk other than dairy. I got an iced white mocha with almond milk, and it's very tastey! As for the price, it's a little over priced, but I'm not going there every morning, so I don't mind paying $5+ for a 16 oz. mocha. The people that worked there were very helpful and nice. They give 1hr. validation which is nice, and he was immediate to ask if i didn't validation. I had been wanting to come here for years, no excuse really since I live nearby. From what i remember, they weren't open on weekends before and close fairly early so I finally made it here Saturday morning and the coffee was just as delicious as I had hoped. I am a HUGE fan of Vietnamese Iced coffee, it is my daily go to, but here I would have to say the Mojito black coffee is even better! I purchased a VTM, LVTM (much better, less sweet and the same kick to it!) and the Mojito only due to it being half off with Yelp check in. Sure glad I did, after the first sip i did not want to put it down, so unique, so refreshing, I could drink this daily. Service is on point, so friendly and helpful, drinks made to order quickly, I sure am jealous of all those lucky people working next door at Google, I would be here every single morning. Very chill spot where you can get a good Chicken banh mi and coffee. I ordered my favorite mocha then sat and chilled for a few hours working on some projects. The WiFi was confusing at first but they are conveniently in the Google building so you can login easily. Since they're tucked away in between two corporate buildings it's hard to spot. I'm SO glad I came across this Yelp page while looking for a new coffee spot. I came in with my fiance to grab a quick breakfast this past weekend. We ended up getting the thai tea latte, the VTM, and the Pig Out sandwich. I immediately fell in love with the thai tea latte - think of it is as a milkier, creamier thai tea. The VTM was also very tasty. We both loved the Pig Out bagel sandwich and it was the perfect amount for us to share. The staff was also very friendly and nice. I was looking for a new coffee shop nearby that I could possibly study at in the future & get some coffee today... however I will most likely never return to this location because of how inconvenient it is. First of all, parking is in a structure which I didn't know if it was free or not since it's in front of a corporate building, and people were badging in. So I had to call the cafe, and that's when they informed me that I could park inside to get validated. Then I enter the lot, and didn't realize that there's only 15 min parking available for BlkDot, so definitely not gonna come here to study. So really you can only come to this location to quickly pick up your coffee. Then I got a matcha/viet coffee iced & asked for less ice but i got half a cup FULL of ice.. i get that for viet coffee you do add a lot of ice, however for $7.55 i expected my cup to be at least full even though i asked for less ice. BLK has its store name in big, block letters and with a steady stream of people leaving and entering the store, it's definitely hard to miss. Vietnamese Iced Coffee/VTM $5.50 for a Large: Deliciously potent. I have never been more awake. My eyes are wide open and my mind is functioning at optimal levels. It's also Day 2 of drinking leftover VTM and this stuff, man... Who needs anything else when you can get the perfectly legal stuff for a mere $5.50. This cafe has amazing service! Came here for the first time and when asking them about what they recommended, the employee offered samples for us to try their signature Vietnamese coffee. We ended up ordering the mint coffee and the sea salt coffee. The mint coffee was too sweet for my taste and has a ton of mint syrup in it - if you don't like that, remember to ask them to use less! The sea salt coffee was okay, but didn't have much of a salt taste and tasted more like a regular latte. I think next time I come in I'll stick with the signature Vietnamese coffee! Parking may be difficult as a first time visitor, but there is a structure right opposite the shop. The sign says 1.75 per hour, but have no fear! The barista will validate your ticket for you! My friend and I ordered... Vietnamese Coffee(VTM): I am a coffee lover and I found this way too rich for my taste but it seems to be a crowd favorite. Little tip.. you can get a light VTM if you want the same taste but just a little less strong. Thai Iced Tea: The barista said that this drink was also very popular and I see why! As opposed to some other Thai teas that over overly sweet, this drink was creamy and refreshing. There is very limited seating inside, so it took a little while for me to snag a table as soon as someone left, but there were a few tables outside for customers as well. This spot can be a little tricky to find, as it is tucked by the side of the Google complex. Don't worry about paying for parking in the structure; BLK can give you a validation! Good for up to an hour. Inside, there's a decent amount of space for studying or catching up on work. Menu is all handwritten in chalk which is a nice touch, as is the wall with positive phrases and messages by customers. Very cool and I think this really represents the culture in SoCal in a good way. I sorta messed up by getting an iced americano in 24 oz size....that coffee is STRONG. I ordered a small black coffee and tried to carry it back to my office but the top did not fit properly and it leaked a lot so I threw it out. I called and reported and they apologized and made me a new one for me when I came by later in the day. I'm not a fan of Vietnamese coffee, but their regular coffee is very good. When I decide to have premium Vietnamese Coffee, I tell myself "BLK all the way". I've tried many Vietnamese coffees from different donuts shops and Pho restaurants but nothing compares to "BLK". My first visit here my choice was the Iced Sea Salt Coffee. It was good, I did like the fact that it wasn't too sweet, the drink was smooth until you get to the frothy top and of course you get that thin hint of salt. It did turn out to be really strong that it got me caffeinated for hours. Their specialty is the is of Vietnamese coffee dubbed "VTM". I normally get this over ice. Its available in 16 oz. ($4.25) and 24oz. ($5.25). It doesn't have much of a smokey taste, but it has a deep rich bold flavor to it, the condense milk maintains a strong taste and it adds thickness. By far this is the "best" Vietnamese coffee I've tried that always gives me that exhilarating experience. Inside the shop it has that hip feel to it and they sell pastries, salads and sandwiches. It's located next to Google and across Equinox Fitness. I like their customer service. They're friendly, kool kats here. One day, I came in with my son they offered him a small treat which was nice of them. They will validate your parking with purchase. At times I feel parking here can get in the way because it's in a corporate structure which may not be easy on peak times to find a decent spot. I found out about this place through Instagram. And when I looked it up, it had great reviews, wasn't too far away from where Iive, AND right next to Google. That last reason has nothing to do with the place, but I mean, it is my dream to work at Google. Anyways, my boyfriend and I decided to come here to get some work done because we get so distracted at home. The coffee here is so strong (and delicious too), especially the VTM coffee. Coffee anywhere else usually has no effect on me, but after a couple sips of the VTM iced coffee, I was wired and had laser focus. Definitely take it sip by sip because it will hit you HARD if you down it. BLK Coffee is great to go to if you wanna get some work done, study for finals, meet up with friends, etc. The employees are really friendly and can answer any questions you might have about the menu. They also have food here (bagels, pastries, banh mi), but I didn't get anything though. I took a look at the prices for their banh mi online, and it seemed a bit pricey for a banh mi, in my opinion. Free wifi! You just need to connect to Googleguest. The restroom is over at Google. Walk down the hall past the elevators and the restroom will be on the right. [[Parking]] On weekdays, they will validate the first hour of parking for you. But after that hour, it's $1.75 per HALF hour, and apparently the structure rounds up. Yikes :( However, on the weekends, parking is free!! As for trying to find parking, that is based on luck. You can park in the designated the visitor parking spots, or the ones reserved for BLK Coffee. My boyfriend and I came here on a Saturday at around 9 AM and there were no spots open at all. We then left, went across the street, and came back ~10 minutes later and there were open spots. There's no parking because you're competing with the people going to the Equinox gym in the same complex. Also, the people who come and park in this structure are TERRIBLE at parking. Like, c'mon.
