Coffee is fine, the store itself is clean and really cute inside, but I wouldn't really consider this a comfortable place to study for hours as the seating is limited, but they do have plenty of outdoor seating. The reason why I'd come back is for the Hot Avocado Toast. I thought, "I could make this at home." but no, it wouldn't taste as good and the bread is different so my home version would not turn out as good as theirs. Tried for the first time yesterday 4/13/24 around after 12:10 ish. Don't think I'd come back mainly due to the service. The person ringing me up didn't seem very enthused or knew much about the drinks. Could have been still learning but a proper employee would go find answers. No greeting upon entering their store, they all just ignore you. When the girl finished making the drink and handed off, she literally YELLED my name (I was standing right there lol) and put the drink down abruptly then walked away. No thank you, no eye contact, no calling the drink name. Very uncalled for and rude. I ordered the LVTNM (?) hot latte. It's a "Vietnamese light hot coffee". It wasn't too bad, I liked the espresso flavor. I got it with oatmilk. Paid $8+ with tip for the regular size w/ oatmilk .... I don't like these places that ask for a tip at the beginning, you give them one to support workers and then get subpar service. Probably college Kids acting like they're too cool for school. The inside of Blk Dot Coffee reminds me of a Starbucks but more local. I got the Sea Salt Jasmine Tea and it was so good! It was refreshing and not overly sweet. The sea salt made the tea slightly creamy which was great. This location had seating inside and outside so you could definitely study or hangout with a friend and chat. Drinks also came out fairly quick and the cashier was friendly. read more

This place is my go to after my Trader Joe's run. (Conveniently located next door) I love their Vietnamese coffee, so good. This place does not accept cash. It's clean and spacious, I can see myself stopping by to read a good book or to do a lil light work. I'll be back to try their avocado toast or other breakfast items, they look so yummy. read more

Loveddddd. Came here while I was visiting my hometown. I ended up coming here three times during my three day visit lol. I ordered the LVTM half sweetened. It was soooo good. I definitely prefer the hot version as the cold one seemed filled with just a ton of ice, was more bitter, and seemed less balanced. The inside is cute and the staff is patient. Had coffee twice from here so far both hot and iced. I usually get a latte and they take customizations. Its super convenient ordering ahead because the line here is nuts. Probably since it's right next door to trader joes. This coffee shop is better than most and on par with Starbucks prices. Love how you can also sit outside under shade. read more

Finally went today!! Ambiance is very sleek modern feel. They have about four tables inside to sit & more in the patio. My husband and I stopped by here after a quick errand at TJ's. We ordered the VTM tiger with less ice, and it was definitely as strong as I'd expected it to be. They didn't didn't have the topping that it came with, but they offered crystal boba to replace it. Drove by on my weekly Costco run and saw this new coffee spot and had to give it a try. Of course a new cold brew is a must. Upon walking in it's laid out very nicely, modern and a very clean look. Was greeted upon walking in and seemed like a very pleasant/cool place to hang out. This was my first time having their cold brew and I was pleasantly surprised, this was actually one of my favorites. Always look for a nice dark, chocolate bitter flavor and it did not disappoint. Also the coffee didn't take long to get, not that it would being a cold brew but the service was prompt. Now to why I gave this 4 stars. If I was to grade the coffee itself I would've given this a 5. However while waiting in line and taking my order, the cashier who was very nice was interrupted multiple times during my order by a guy telling her how to do her job better. I could tell it made her uncomfortable and think this could've been handled better, not in front of me making her uncomfortable. Other than that it's a nice place to give a shot. read more

Also got a double espresso to try out their bean taste and sorry to say it was disgusting. Tastes like cheap burnt beans. This coffee just opened in the city of Cypress! They are known for their VTM (Vietnamese Coffee), but I ended up trying their iced spicy honey oat milk latte! I think I just found my new favorite coffee! It has a good balance of spiciness and sweetness (not too sweet). The price is a bit high, but then so is everything else nowadays. It cost about $6.25 for my latte. The staff was friendly and made the drinks well, even though they were new and just opened. It's a small coffee shop with a few chairs and tables inside, but there are more tables and chairs outside in their patio. They are located right next to Trader Joe's and across from Costco, that's a win in my book! I will definitely come back to try their iced VTM and the VTM with matcha! read more

Came here a while back since close to where I am, I ordered the Brekkie Bowl and it was so good. I also got the strawberry matcha drink and it was pretty well mixed, considering I usually go for strawberry only drinks. I would for sure get it again. They do take a bit to get the food out, but it's well worth the wait in my opinion.
