I booked my appointment just before showing up but luckily they weren't busy. I got a gel manicure and pedicure. Overall happy with service and my nails. My only issue is that the prices didn't match what the price chart said. I didn't feel like arguing, so paid and went on my way. $98 for both the services, plus I tipped. Nice, clean, relaxing nail salon. I was a walk-in and they were pleasant about it. Good selection of magazines and they played spa music in the background. I would have given 5 stars, but I really had a hard time picking out a polish for my pedicure. The colors were so dark! There were hardly any bright colors. Went here on Saturday night, about an hour and a half before close. Asked for a simple gel manicure-- she rushed through the whole thing and pulled my hand from the light before the time. She paid no attention to me, was very rude and now 3 of the nails are chipped. Also to remove the gel nail polish she used one of the electric nail buffers all the way down on my nails, so now they are very thin and brittle. Would not recommend, they rush through and don't care. Never coming back! read more

I have gone to this salon a few times. It is near my house and they are never too crowded. Today the person who did my nails probably the worse manicure I have ever had. I was getting ready to pay and noticed the side of my thumb nail had no polish. To make sure, I asked another patron who confirmed the tech had missed a spot on my nail. The tech did repair the thumb nail. As I got in my car I noticed under my index finger was a glob of nail polish. I will not be going back. I also have spots of polish on my fingers. I've been here several times in the past but hesitant to return. The last time was just not a decent experience. I went in for a mani/pedi, had an appointment, and it was midday. When I arrived, one person was having a pedicure and the other a manicure, and 4 employees were also there so not too busy. I make appointments (early or midday) to nail salons so as not to be rushed. Generally feel a bit rushed here (kind of everywhere) but this last time was off the chart!!! During the pedicure another employee started in on my manicure - not a chance to relax, check my phone, enjoy the chair massage, close my eyes and relax... it was all about rushing through each finger, grabbing my other hand and manipulating my hands/fingers aggressively and as quickly as possible. And when she ripped in to my pinky cuticle (which didn't even need removed) and it started bleeding I was completely done!!! I haven't been back. A few weeks later that finger was Still messed up and another manicurist at a new place asked what happened because it wasn't yet healed!! read more

I have been going to Bliss for a number of years now, on a regular bi-weekly basis. They have always been so nice and accommodating. They have good hours (even Sunday hours), some later, which are great for someone like me that has some erratic work time. I have received many compliments from my co-workers and others. They are strong, healthy and look great! I was even able to get my husband to start getting regular pedicures, after his back surgery when he was unable to reach his feet. They are very nice to him and he really looks forward to going. I would recommend them to anyone, and I can be picky about how my hands look. read more

This wasn't my first time here but I was very disappointed this time. My mom and I had a 430 appointment for pedicures and didn't have to wait to be seated. However, they only had one girl available to do our pedicures. I really didn't understand this because they knew we were coming. (that's what appointments are for) So I had to wait for my moms pedicure to be finished before my pedicure was started. Needless to say I was very annoyed and this was completely unprofessional. (This is the location across from Fry's by Riggs & McQueen-apparently there was an unrelated Bliss salon somewhere else in Chandler that is now closed for good.) Super comfortable massage chairs for pedicures, clean environment, recent magazines, friendly staff, no waiting, easy access parking. I would give this place a 5 star rating if only..... * If the technician did not scrub my feet so hard that they bled for days. * If the technician did not actually slice open my right big toe with all of her scrubbing * If I did not have to call the police for the employees b/c they had language barrier issues and wanted to call the police because there was some belligerent lady there with a gift certificate for another salon called Bliss and insisted she could use it here. Of course this was after she had a pedicure and her manicure was almost finished. She refused to pay and started screaming at the staff and getting very rude with them because they were struggling to communicate with her. * In all fairness, I could have let my technician know that I was in pain but I wasn't noticing b/c of all the drama going on. --I will give this place another try because I am a glutton for punishment (I do teach Junior High, after all) and because I believe everyone deserves a second chance. read more

This was not a good experience. The Polish and my nails shape work cute on my pedicure. However I received no menu of services and was not able to pick what I wanted for my pedicure. I came in and asked for a manicure and pedicure and they just gave me whatever pedicure they wanted to give me. I walked out with my feet still not smooth on the bottom and would have liked to have callus remover and even a paraffin dip. However I will know for next time and we'll not I repeat NOT be returning here! read more

I've been searching for a place to get my nails done since moving here. I went to Bliss based on the reviews and was very disappointed by the experience. I had both a mani and pedi here and neither girl made any effort to communicate with me. The pedicure was very basic and she did a crappy job trimming my nails and did not file them afterwards. Neither nail tech even asked my name!!! They spoke Vietnamese exclusively or played with their phones or iPads and one had brought their child to work who was watching a cartoon video with the sound annoyingly high. This place could be really good if they could attempt to communicate with their customers. ***Unfortunately only one day after having my nails done I find that my nail is separating away from the nail above as she did not put any glue on the nails after she cut them back. This is happening on 8 of my nails, I went back to the store and she just used the drill with emery on them and refused to put any glue on. So my nails will probably be separating very quickly. The girl who did my manicure never greeted me or spoke to me the entire time. She did a very rushed job while I was sitting in the PEDICURE chair. My nails were not filed evenly and the polish was bumpy in areas. I felt like I was a burden to her. When she was finished she didn't even say a word or have me move to a place to dry my nails. She just walked over to do some other lady's nails. Another nail tech looked over at me and I asked her if I did something wrong. She sort of apologized and had me move to a place where I could dry my nails. I really wanted out of there as quickly as possible. The place was really empty and I now understand why.
