Was so glad to see a bakery (besides the usual Korean chain bakeries) in a supermarket/grocery. The macarons ($2.50 each) looked good, so I got 4: 1) 5/5 passion fruit: perfection, ever so slightly sour, great passion fruit taste, delicious 2) 4/5 orange crumble: not sure what the crumble was but this had a strong enough orange flavor 3) 4/5 rose: tastes the same as other bakeries 4) 4/5 pistachio: tastes same as other bakeries My sister got: 1) 5/5 Madeline's: These are some of the best Madeline's we've had. They're lemon-flavored. We love lemon-flavored desserts. The sugar is well mixed & melted, so you don't feel like you're crunching on sugar cubes. Entenmann's & other brands available at supermarkets/groceries should take notes. Entenmann's is always stale, too sweet, & has crunchy granulated sugar. 2) 5/5 Mocha cream bun: This was really good, strong enough to keep me awake, not too sweet. 3) 3/5 red bean: paste too sweet, same as other bakeries Can't wait to go back to get more Madeline's, mocha cream bun, try some other buns & macarons.

Bread, matcha mochi bread, long creme pastries, and cream puff!

Amazing service and great pastries! The lady and the environment was welcoming with some many options to choose from. I would recommend this place to anyone and people who have a liking for pastry shops and cafes! Spectacular! 좋아요!

Delicious baked goods, easy to grab & go.

It's in a little corner area of a grocery store market and I truly was more than happy to support them. They have several delicious looking pre-wrapped baked goods (matcha, ube, red bean & more flavored breads) laid out for a grab-n-go situation. And they also have more specialized pastries and cakes (super cute looking) behind a glass case. I tried several of the selections and liked all of them. Great snacks and desserts with reasonable prices. The baker can also be spotted making more goodies in the back--creating a small but charming vibe. The cashier was friendly and helpful. If you make it to this market, give this small shop within some support.

Normally, I love this place and usually buy their cakes for special occasions. However, today, on my mother's birthday, I ordered a red velvet cake. The cake was labeled as red velvet, and when I asked the staff for it, I trusted the label without questioning it further as well as trusted the staff . Unfortunately, when we cut into it, we discovered it was actually a blueberry cake. I share some of the blame for not verifying it despite my suspicions but I am still upset. it was still a delicious cake however my mother loves red velvet and had been eagerly anticipating it.

Every time I'm in Little Tokyo, I come here to buy their delicious macarons for my Mom. The desserts are so yummy and they're always so quick and efficient with the packaging.

Spontaneously, last weekend I wanted to check out little Tokyo in LA. Found a Korean market and went inside to look for some pastries for breakfast before I continue my walk around the area. I went to a bakery inside the market and bought some pastries and an iced coffee. Since I'm a regular coffee drinker, I like my coffees strong, however the ice coffee there wasn't strong, but I have to say their pastries are delicious, after a few days in the fridge and warmed up they're were still very tasty.

sweet potato cake here is so good. it's topped with a soft crumb and decorative, chewy sweet potato slices. the cream is just the right amount of sweetness, and the sweet potato paste is delicious. i would highly recommend the cake here! heavenly.

    Birthday cake!!

I ordered these beautiful cakes for my daughter's birthday!! She loved them! They're delicious! I definitely comeback! Thank you!!

Personally, I don't like that style, I was hoping the original would change that for me! Long story short, I didn't like the Walnut Chocolate Chip. I personally just don't like that style still, so I'll chalk it up as a "me" problem. The cooked part was good. The Rocky Road was cooked through. It was an amazing baked good with good flavor and add-ins. Between the roasted almond slices and fudgey chocolate chips, I was enjoying it immensely. A highlight of my day for sure. Based on my memories, this LA location keeps it consistent with a similar taste and texture as the NY location. 3.5/5 Chocolate Chip Walnut: This cookie was tall and slightly undercooked in the middle. The middle was a bit on the squishy side, and crunchy on the outside. Due to the undercooked quality, it's not a cookie I'd get regularly, though I am a big chocolate chip cookie fan. 5/5 Rocky Road: This was delicious. I'm not usually a marshmallow fan, but the addition of this ingredient formed a nice chewy consistency that I expect from a cookie. Chocolatey tidbits were well melted into the cookie texture and produced some fudgey notes. The cookie sizes are large and potentially shareable, and feel like an every once in awhile treat.

It's like a fancy filet o fish without the soggy bun, packed with amazing fried fish and tarter sauce. I'm just disappointed when they don't have this in stock, but sometimes they would make more, and that'll just be an extra wait. Downside is that I first tried the fish panini years ago and it was a bit better then, but it's still good currently. Other pastries I've tried here have been pretty good. They had some various buns with mochi inside, and those were great. Another one of my fave is their mentaiko salt bun. Great flavor, though I wish they would stuff the thing with more mentaiko. Their curry breads are good too. I took my daughter here and she got one with cute emoji drawn on, and she said the custard filling and the bread was tasty as well. I've tried some drinks here and they were alright. A friend was into their banana matcha when they have that in stock. Pretty simple layout here. Get in line and see the goods, then you reach the cashier and order and pay.

Honestly, I think it's even better than the famous spot everyone talks about. My favorite is the corn cheese, it's especially delicious when it's warm. I got a sausage bbang, a chocopie, and a dalgona latte. The sausage bbang was soggy on the bottom and honestly tasted like it was from the day before. The chocopie barely had any filling, just a thin layer of marshmallow and jam. It honestly felt like they used most of the marshmallow for their Dubai choco cookie because it's probably more profitable, instead of properly filling the chocopie. If that's the case, it's better not to sell it at all than serve something like that. The dalgona latte was also disappointing. With ice, the drink only filled to the bottom third line of the cup marking. Clearly, they skimped on the milk. There was also a weird moment when I paid. My total was $15.25 and I paid cash, but I was given $4.75 in change. When I said it should be $5, she seemed confused and asked what I meant. I told her I literally gave you a quarter right now, and she questioned it before eventually giving me the correct change. I'll give her the benefit of the doubt and assume it was a mistake. I understand times are hard, but charging more for products that clearly had corners cut doesn't sit right with me. It just comes across like there's no integrity. Clearly the quality and portions are going downhill. I wasn't even planning on writing this review. I was going to stay quiet, but the chocopie really ticked me off. I'm not going to pay for food that skims on ingredients and shortchanges customers by charging more for less, so this will be my last visit.
