Stopped at Blend Coffee Bar after my lunch visit to Pho Vietnam. Never been to Blend before. The place has a very comfortable, homey vibe to it. Lots of seating inside and outside. They even have this weird little room that can be used as a private meeting room, and you can secure the privacy of the room by pulling down a garage door. Yes, you read that right - a garage door! I ordered a large, iced coffee - with room for cream. The coffee was strong and delicious. Got the neurons firing and the brain functioning. They do have a free Wifi network here. The first time I came to this place was a few years ago and did not really think much of it. I have been coming back fairly often this year and have been liking it a lot. The drinks are good, but what keeps me coming back is the atmosphere. Even on a busy day it's still a tranquil place. There is also an outdoor patio that is wonderful when the weather is good. Such a sad state of affairs over here...though I will say the staff are very lovely. Ordered a veggie BLT and received some over toasted bread with literally one floppy slice of veggie bacon, 3 leaves of lettuce, avocado that's hard as a rock and about a gallon of yellow mustard. My chai is essentially a glass of iced oat milk with barely any tea flavoring. The bagged chips were great along with the bottled water. read more

This is a great little coffeehouse. I am a tea drinker, but love the smell of roast coffee and was not disappointed. They also had at least six fresh loose herbal teas to choose from. The desserts, salads in a jar and snacks looked amazing. Several cozy spots to lounge, as well as bar areas. They have open mic night and trivia night several times a week. Free wifi for patrons (might need to work here one afternoon). What more could you ask for in a local coffeehouse? read more

I really want to like this place more. My husband comes here to work anytime he works from home and he loves it. When I go with him, though, they only get my order correct sometimes. I always order sausage egg and cheese on an everything bagel at every coffee shop I go to. Here, this always seems to come out with either spinach and mayo, which I don't want, or it comes out incorrectly on an English muffin. I haven't figured out how to order this to get exactly what I want (just what I ordered and nothing more). I also always order my flavored lattes half sweet because regular flavored lattes are way too sweet for me and don't allow you to taste the actual coffee flavor. This usually only comes out correctly about half of the time, even when "HALF SWEET" is clearly printed on the ticket. Super bummer to take that first sip when you're expecting it to taste a certain way. When they do come out correctly, though, they're delish. read more

Wasn't sure if I should rate on actually product or ambience! This place reminds me of a coffee shop you'd see on a tv show. Friends getting together and chatting over coffee like in the TV show Friends LOL!! There's a nice outdoor area with tables and lights which probably makes a great evening in good weather! When it comes to product, I ordered the cookie butter chai and unfortunately it wasn't the best I'd ever had. It wasn't as sweet as other chais I've enjoyed in the past. Delicious drinks and food and great for dogs. Big outdoor open patio with shade available. Friendly staff and wonderful food. The egg Sammy was delicious and so was the parfait; some of the best yogurt I've had and very fresh fruit not dripping in syrup. Nuts in the granola I believe I tasted which I don't think I saw listed but for me it was a pleasant surprise. The blueberry muffin LATTE was so good and perfect iced for the weather. This place is amazing! They're pet friendly, lots of free parking, and have a wide menu. I had the raspberry flavored coffee and it was about $5. They have lots of seating indoor and outdoor. There are 2 hanging chairs and some sofas. The staff is very friendly, and there are different events there. Every other Sunday, there's a pancake truck/vendor. Blend always wows me! I was meeting a few friends for coffee and I ordered the salted caramel macchiato. I have been to several coffee shops and no one has been able to get it the way I want it. Blend served my large drink in a beautiful Tiffany blue mug with the perfect froth. And guess what? They got it! Just how I want it! We had to sit on the outside patio since I had my dog with me and they graciously turned on the fire pit for us. We literally spent two hours catching up in such a cozy setting. read more

Thank you thank you for having a coffee shop that isn't another Starbucks in Ashburn! Finally a local business in caffeine and coziness with its own identity. Hard to believe it's the same location that Glory Days used to be. It reminds me of the coffee shops I visited when in Denver. It has a unique interior with a tiny bar area and outdoor seating. Plus tables and counters made from polished wood for reading (books and magazines included or you can bring your own) and Internet. I sat at one of the tables across from the private reading area in the back. As I attempted a CPA simulation, I drank my latte in a large porcelain mug to go with the egg sandwich on a bagel. Sandwich included sausage, spinach, white cheese and some kind of spicy sauce. Probably the best breakfast sandwich I've had in a long time. Fresh ingredients and the sauce; what is in that sauce!? Now I'm drooling as I think of it! They do coffee blends, standard coffee drinks, shakes and smoothies, local beer and wine. Kitchen has breakfast, pastries, and sandwiches available. Nothing pre packed or displayed. As it should be! Glad I found this spot and I shall frequent more often! read more

Usually I wait to leave an establishment to write a review but low key have a coffee bar crush on this place. I came here today to work remote since the WIFI at my house sucks. Around 10 the place is about 50% packed so you might not get the best spot but still plenty of places to sit. Wifi is great and that's all I can really ask for- also no annoying log off from the network every 90 minutes or anything. There is a TON of outdoor seating so nice for working outside in the summer or summer nights for the wine they serve also. The space has a little of everything- games for kids, books, cozy places to take meetings and cool seating in doors that are comfy and interesting to sit in. Cappuccino was pretty good, strong enough to keep you awake for a while. I really enjoyed their blend breakfast sandwich (sans sausage). I really enjoyed the sriracha mayo and the sandwich did not feel too unhealthy- there wasn't an insane amount of cheese like a lot of breakfast sandwiches. 5 star for food, 5 star for ambiance, and 5 star for service. read more

This coffee bar was suggested by someone I was meeting with. Upon arrival staff was friendly but I think I fell in love with the venue itself. The coffee was AMAZING - I got a latte, my boyfriend... a corto or something along those lines. It was smooth and delicious - they are using great quality beans. There is plently of various indoor and outdoor seating areas, tables, high tops, couches and even 2 swing chairs in the back. There is a free book area where you can read any book you'd like and some checkers outside. They even have a table where local businesses can leave their business card. I really enjoyed that it's a local shop, coffee was great, vibe and ambience were relaxing too. Almost wished I lived in that area so I could go back more often. read more

Finally a coffee shop in Ashburn that I can spend hours studying at. I was bummed when the Starbucks in that plaza closed awhile back, and unfortunately, I do not like the coffee enough at Peets to study there. So when Blend finally open, I decided to give it a chance and spend a good few hours studying for finals and trying their coffee. I ended up getting the pour over coffee in the Italian roast. It was okay. I'll probably try the latte next time. I also purchased a breakfast sandwich, which was also okay. I think the place is still working out some kinks, seeing as it's a new place. I gave them 4 stars because the staff working the day I went was awesome! They kept checking up on me and where super nice. Needless to say, I'll be back. read more

I was so excited to find a divey coffee and wine bar in Ashburn with bright and rustic vibes! I came during "happy hour" and tried their Happy Gilmore and cookie butter chai latte. The Happy Gilmore is a raspberry-pear-lemon "ade". I didn't quite taste any raspberry or pear, and the drink tasted like an iced tea with lemon. Still, cute drink and you can add prosecco for that happy hour booze. The cookie butter chai latte was a bit watery but still good. The environment seems perfect for coffee dates, study dates, and hangout dates. They also have an outdoor patio that's hosting live music and local food trunks every Friday of this month. This coffee bar is truly divey and lively and I would definitely be visiting again when in the Ashburn area. read more

They have very creative flavors and I look forward to their new flavors each season. Nice coffee shop if you're in the ashburn area and don't want the boring chains (Pete's, Starbucks, etc.) but not really a place to rave about either. I've been here a few times, ordered different things every time: cookie butter chai, vanilla matcha latte, and vanilla caramel latte. I'd recommend the cookie butter chai, it tastes like how you think one of those warm cookie candle scents would taste. Super tasty! Staff was very friendly, especially when I was trying to order a very basic b*tch drink from a chain coffee store's menu (not for me!). They made that and the cortado, and my food, extremely quickly. The espresso is very good, a medium roast with a little complexity. The mixed iced drink was a good balance of flavor and sweetness, the espresso enhanced by the syrups not overwhelmed. The beignets are good, a little greasy for my taste, but they were sitting in a takeout box for about five minutes before I could try- quite possibly user error.
