In just the course of one day, they tidied everything up, re-mulched it, and then put welded steel down on the ground to make a very nice and tidy path with crushed granite in the middle. They also trimmed trees and spread fertilizer as well as stuff to organically kill grub worms. To top is all off, Ron is a super nice guy with a laid back, whimsical personality. I think I got a fair price, too. I own a small real estate agency and will be referring Transformed to our clients from now on.

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would!…read more TLDR; Aaron is the best person I have ever worked with in Austin (and I've done 3 large scale projects with three different, highly recommended, companies in Austin in the last 6 years). I priced out three different new landscaping companies (besides the other three I had previously used and didn't care for for various reasons) and Aaron was quick to respond to my inquiry, prompt for all meetings and correspondence and brought amazing, collaborative, beautiful ideas to the table. I came in with a good idea of what I wanted but he helped steer me toward what would work best for our home and aesthetic but was incredibly responsive and flexible if I pushed hard in one direction. He came back very soon with a beautiful digital rendering of the work to be done, and was incredibly helpful when I needed to push our timeline back and break up the work a bit. He showed up every day of the project early and got right to work meticulously working on our yard with his awesome team. The level of detail, measurements, materials and design eye that he approached the project with were so evident. Numerous neighbors walked by all week and would comment during and now, after, at their awe to his attention to detail even evident from their "walk by's". Communicative throughout the whole process, the work is BEAUTIFUL. I am so proud of my house and to see my idea come to life with Aaron's help and design guidance. Don't waste any time, call this person NOW. My only worry is that he will get super super busy soon -- good people are hard to find but when you find em, keep 'em! Can't wait for the next project in the Fall

He's always quick to respond, enthusiastic about the projects, and takes a real pride in his work and making sure things are done in a way that will last. We did a complete backyard overhaul and transformed it from a bare mud pit to a backyard oasis that we now love spending time in now: new sod on half the hard, paver patio and crushed granite on the other half, limestone retaining wall and mulch bed on the back wall, drainage, and irrigation through out. We had an old and non functioning irrigation system that we inherited from the previous owners and rather than just ripping it up and charging us for a new one, Aaron spent hours servicing and getting it to work, and then customized it to work with the new yard layout. We also had some freak of nature downpour of rain pretty soon after the big project was complete, which washed away some of the granite and caused the patio to settle with some dips. Aaron came back and fixed it all and added in additional drainage to keep it from happening again. Aaron is my guy forever now - extremely fair on pricing, honest, full of integrity, thorough, and just an all around nice guy. You won't be disappointed if you choose to work with him.

His quote was very precise on exactly what was going to be purchased, the price, and the labor cost involved down to each plant, which is something the competing quotes were lacking. His team added a walkway going around from our driveway to the pool; excavated a rock wall to reduce the grade so we could get our golf cart around what was a narrow corner; trimmed up trees over and around the pool; added much needed drainage to reduce runoff; built the wall around the pump equipment, added the Zeon Zyosia grass, and did all the landscaping around the pool area. We are extremely happy with the end product and will use them again when our guest/pool house is completed to do the landscaping around it.

We found Yards Apart Landscaping on Yelp after becoming frustrated with unresponsive landscapers. Within a few hours of our initial request, Sue answered. After a couple of emails, the owner, Troy, arrived at our door the same evening for a preliminary consultation. They worked quickly; we got a thorough price in less than 24 hours. Within a week of submitting the quote, they were able to start the project. Outstanding service was provided. Troy and Sue allowed us to select the items we wanted, and we ultimately decided to go with everything on their quote. Even in the sweltering Texas heat, a work that we expected would take a week to complete was finished in just two days by a tiny but incredibly effective team. And Troy was there, working alongside his group with his sleeves rolled up. Troy was incredibly professional and knowledgeable about plants. He identified our current plants with ease and seamlessly added new ones that properly fit the overall style of our yard. They completed the task ahead of schedule, and we were quite pleased with the outcome. In fact, we're so happy with their job that when our new construction home is ready, we'll get in touch with Yards Apart Landscaping once more. We strongly advise getting in touch with Yards Apart Landscaping if you want to improve your outdoor area. We can vouch to their responsiveness, professionalism, and competence based on our excellent experience.

This is an All-In-One business, Jensen does the design plus runs things, and he is a fortunate blend of talented but also experienced. Just take a peek at their website - those designs are both cool but also thoughtful. We wanted a total backyard redo, including turning a pergola sitting unused in the middle of our yard into an outdoor living room cabana complete with a metal roof and decking flooring. We wanted so much, including but not limited to: ripping out an ugly stone patio off the house's back to replaced it with a roofed over decking floored dining area, then adding an open patio area with metal planters and built in decking bench seating. We wanted landscape lighting, welded metal edged flower beds, more planters, and by the time the project was almost done we added in having them do high quality artificial turf. They had to do wiring, plumb a propane line for a propane fire pit they made out of a huge boulder, roofing, metalwork, decking, planting design and implementation...they reworked and updated our irrigation... It was a lot and they were just amazing at all of it. Jensen cared as much about having everything done right as I did - and I am very picky about quality. And I can proudly say this backyard now looks amazing - like the boutique resort hotel outdoor lounging I was hoping for. We love being in that yard as much as possible now. I cannot recommend Jensen/Red Agave enough, but: five out of five stars all the way! Just absolutely, completely, ...excellent!!

The crew showed up prepared and on-time everyday for their work. They cleared cactus and dead trees from the property first. For the tree removal, they brought a separate crew that had tree removal expertise. Additionally, they also plowed and disced the land to prepare it for planting fruit trees. Once the land was prepared, they were able to plant over 30 fruit tree saplings. Overall, I was highly satisfied with the work that was accomplished in the project schedule. In fact, they were able to finish ahead of time. All of the crew were highly professional and respectful, which made them very easy to work with. I would call them again for any other projects that I need completed and highly recommend Grace Landscaping & Tree Service to anyone needing landscaping work done.
