Yes, I've written about Blaze Pizza before. I've been there many times since my first review. I must say that this place is consistently great! Fast, friendly service with terrific pizza for a reasonable price. How can you beat it? You can't! 5 STARS! read more

Blaze Pizza - One of the friendly pizza masters at Blaze! Great pizza! - Pizza Near Me - Mason, Ohio

The Chipotle of Pizza, Blaze is a fun place for all as a build your own, fast-fired pizza. The process is pretty simple, choose your sauce, choose your cheese, then choose your toppings, and then it gets thrown into their high heat oven. It only takes about 3 minutes for your pizza to get cooked, and of course you can get it well-done if wanted. I personally like their new pesto sauce, and balsamic drizzle. I do think at times that no matter what you add to your pizza, they can turn out a little bland. I would recommend asking for a little extra salt and spices. I also enjoy the blood orange lemonade that they have next to the Coke fountain machine. This place can get pretty busy, but like chipotle, the lines move through pretty fast. The pricing is pretty cheap for what you get. I would definitely recommend giving the Blaze a try! read more

Really disappointed as I asked for Gorgonzola cheese and balsamic glaze among other toppings... I got blue cheese, which I don't like at all; and no balsamic glaze!! Such a waste of money! read more

I don't like to hand out 5 stars unless truly deserved, but this place earns all 5! Am I going to call this my favorite pizza ever? No, but it is my favorite lunchtime pizza ever because it's FAST and delicious. I built a pizza with their spicy red sauce, mozzarella and goat cheese, meatballs, fresh basil, and cherry tomatoes. It was delicious and actually pretty cheap! For a pizza and drink I only spent $8. My only advice would be to avoid the main lunch rush and maybe go closer to 11am or 1pm. Also, it helps to have an idea of your options before to step up to bat, the options can be overwhelming if you wing it! read more

Very Good! Great tastes. Get the "build your own", they will let you put as much as you want on and plenty of toppings to choose from. Always fast. Good prices. A very unique thin-crust pizza. Nothing is like it. read more

We stopped by here one night for dinner. First, let me say the decor is really fun and cute. The food was tasty. It's basically the Subway/Chipolte/Piada of the pizza world. They let you pick all the toppings you want for one price which is pretty cool. I ordered the white top (white cream sauce with mozzarella, applewood bacon, chopped garlic, oregano and arugula) and added sausage. They "fast fire" the pizza for 180 seconds in a Mega-hot oven. They offer vegan and gluten free options which you would be hard pressed to find anywhere else. Now for the big but...BUT their layout is freaking terrible. The line to the counter cuts right down the middle of the restaurant so you are basically standing in the way, no matter where you stand. The 10 minutes it took us to get to the counter was filled with "Excuse Me", "I'm sorry", and feeling terrible about being on top of everyone. That was miserable. A cute place but we decided to grab it To-Go because of the crowd and miserable dining experience. Food was great and the staff was hilarious- you'd have to have a sense of humor to deal with that noise level and crowd. My advice: Call ahead and enjoy this really tasty pizza at home. read more

Plain and simple, this place is delicious. This is about the most accurate conversion of Chipotle into another genre of food that I've ever seen. I can't wait for this place to expand into Kentucky. $7.25 for a pizza, unlimited any topping. I really appreciate their Signature Pizza menu for giving you great ideas of where to start, but really, it's just a springboard into whatever delicious combination your taste buds can concoct. The pizzas themselves are amazing. Crispy, wood-fired thin crust. Topping choices are plentiful... I couldn't even hope to convey them all to you if I wanted to. The decor and style are very reminiscent of Chipotle as well. Lots of post-modern metal and wood, with loud popular music pumping in the background. I want to eat here again immediately. read more

I have been wanting to try Blaze forever since my friends are always raving about how good it is. It is especially tempting since I work a little up the street from it and always pass it! I finally decided to come in after work one day and give it a shot. I am so glad I did! When first ordering your pizza, the first person asks you for your name. Everybody that helps you afterwards calls you by your name and I love it--feels so personal! Additionally, I was asked if I had every been here before. When I said no, they did such a good job walking me through everything. I loved that even though they were packed, everyone helped me with my pizza thoroughly and without rushing me, but was still able to get me out the door within ten minutes (including time spent waiting in line!) For $7, you get a pizza to yourself with all the toppings and sauces you want. Such a good deal! And it's delicious too. My only other experience with a pizza place like this is Pieology, which I am also a huge fan of. However, I think for whatever reason I like Blaze more (maybe the great customer service?) Anyways, I love Blaze and I would definitely come back! read more

Pizza was left on the porch with no knock or ring of the bell. When I opened the boxes it was cold, there was hardly any red sauce and the dollops of mozzarella were nothing to write home about. It felt like we were just eating bread with some sauce slapped on it. Do not recommend. read more

This place won't take long to expand outside of Mason. It's the Chipotle of the pizza world. You go through the line, you tell them what you want, SHAZZAAM. Two minute later and you have a delicious pizza in front of you. As soon as you walk in you can smell the delicious aroma. The value is GREAT. $6.95 for a pizza big enough to leave me wanting a nap. I loved that there was no additional charge for ingredients. As much as you want for $6.95. I'm a fan. Make sure you leave yourself enough time to dine here. While the pizza comes out fast and fresh, that doesn't stop the line from beginning to wrap around. It took us about 20 minutes to get through the line. Definitely worth it, but tough when you're on a lunch break at work. I will definitely be back to get some more of this delicious pizza. read more

Came by here on a weeknight wanting a quick dinner to go. For 8 bucks I got a quick, decent pizza. I went with the original dough (thin) two-topping pizza and chose gorgonzola cheese and mushrooms. The guy making the pizza was really nice and was very careful when assembling my pizza - distributing the toppings evenly. The big plus is how fast it cooks, which is great when you're in a hurry. The flavors were good and the crust was chewy on the inner parts, crispier on the edges. A decent, quick dinner. read more

Absolutely terrible service!!!! Very inefficient. Workers moving slowly, talking to each other instead of waiting on customers. Dropped a pizza on the floor that was a to go order and no one bothered to remake it. Just threw it away and moved on. My pizza was sitting out getting cold for 10 min. before they cut it. My boyfriends pizza was burnt and he had to ask them to remake it after we had already waited 45 min. There were 5 people working and only 1 of them seemed to care that there was a line of people and orders were backing up. Stay clear of this place!!! read more

We stopped at Blaze over late last summer and I was not impressed. I found them to be really pricey compared to their competitor Rapid Fire pizza. I also found the pizza to just not be as good. For all the options they give you, I felt they were lacking. The restaurant itself was clean and super cute inside. They had a nice little patio seating area. It would have been better, if they have bother to clean up the cigarette butts. I would love if they started carrying vegan cheese to make themselves different from other fast-chain pizza places. I'd definitely give this place a shot again, if I was in the area. read more

I came to Blaze with my family for their grand opening... Waited in line for over an hour (they were giving away free pizzas that day) but it was actually worth the wait! This is a restaurant chain from California that's been opening new locations all across the country. I'm so glad mason is one of them! It's a chipotle-style concept, where you can either choose a pizza off the menu or choose your own ingredients, and they make it there right in front of you (for less than $7 per person!) There were a lot of people working that day, but one guy asked my name at the beginning and everyone after him greeted me by my first name which I thought really made the experience nice and personal. The ingredients are super fresh and high quality, and there are a TON of options to choose from, including a variety of sauces. The pizzas only take a couple minutes to cook and then you're in heaven! My mom and my sisters all ordered different pizzas from the menu, and all of them were fantastic. My favorite was the meat eater - sooo delicious. Even though it's an individual size pizza and the crust is pretty thin, I still took home a couple pieces! I really like this place, and on top of the food, the atmosphere/staff culture seems very fun and laid back. Hoping they'll open a location closer to the city soon! read more

Can in at 2:20 on a Sunday... no one in line. Walked up. Was not greeted. Had to wait for the worker to finish her 'side work' . First and last time coming to this blaze. I ordered two speciality pizzas, both made wrong due to the paper they filled out. They wouldn't put different names on the paper, so then both pizzas were made wrong. Both pizzas got cooked well done, when only one ordered well done. My pizza was a white top, but pesto got added to it because they placed it on the green sauce paper. And no pesto on the green stripe pizza because the paper said white top. I was also asked to pay for my meal twice. I had to throw away my burnt pizza with the added pesto because it was made wrong. I am disappointed because other blazes I have been at have been amazing. I was the only customer there and still made mistakes. Would love to know if there are other blaze locations in Cincinnati to go to. read more

They also have gluten free options which was all my #goals, they prepared the pizzas quick and were really efficient in all the toppings. Tip: ask for the fresh Argula and pesto drizzle on top for extra goodness! read more

This is based on my online delivery experience. Planned Postmates vegan delivery days ahead of time. When I checked Postmates 15 minutes before the party I was going to was to start, saw my order was cancelled. No notification. Went to Blaze website to order. No delivery available. So I order for pick-up. Cannot fulfill order. Every time I submit, it says, "Unable to process your order. Too many people ordering online right now. Try again later."" I drive there (20 minutes) and on the way I call the restaurant to order over the phone so that I don't have to wait. They don't pick up. I somehow download Blaze app and put in the order again while driving. It FINALLY comes through. Said it will be ready in 15 minutes. I arrive 10 minutes later and they haven't even started on my order yet. I wait another 10 minutes or so and finally grab my pizza. I arrive to my party 40 minutes late and finally try the pizza, which is floppy. Terrible experience. Last time I'm trying Blaze. read more

Love us some Blaze - especially this location BUT......the last 4x it has been a mess. Tables dirty & sticky, food on floor, no lids or straws, overflowing trash. The staff are awesome & working their tails off but there is obviously a staffing issue as the entire dining area - both inside & outside -hasn't been touched. My arms kept sticking to the table last night & the chairs were filthy - had to get napkins & water to clean them. Please increase staffing to have a dining room person. Not sure my family will return for quite a while due to these issues. read more

We loved the Blaze at this location when it first opened, then the quality seemed to lag and we stopped going for a long while. Yesterday, we decided to give it another try and to our surprise some menu items had changed and the food quality was much better than before. The big bonus, however, was the quality service and attention by everyone there. Especially, Cole, who set a new standard for customer care. We are fans again! Thanks, Blaze! read more

For all my life I've been living under the suppression of compromise. All the fantasy pizzas, glorious toppings, and genius combinations I ever wanted and dreamed of were never fully agreed upon by those with whom I shared the meal. For what is the point of pizza if not for communal dining? I was doomed to the typical marinara-mozzarella-pepperoni-green pepper-onion lame-pie my fiancé and I have compromised on for years. Because love. It became comfortable, though I knew in my heart that I was compromising far more. My soul knew the pizza it wanted. It had yet to be realized. Finally, Blaze Pizza. Approaching the Chipotle-esque bar, and realizing what I had stumbled upon, my soul rejoiced! But the psychological shackles remained. My partner and I unknowingly made identical pizzas. Fortunately, there are second chances. My spirit pizza called to me, and two days later, I answered that call. It said, "Build your own, Rachel." And I replied, "Mozzerella, CHUNKS of Mozzerella, Alfredo sauce, feta, Parmesan, SPINAAAAACH, artichoke, GARLIC, salt of the SEA, oreganooooo!!!!" It was beautiful, fully formed in concept and design. And that is how I became free to live my best life, make my best choices, and eat my best pizza. read more

First ate at the one in Chicago and LOVED it! The one in Mason was HOPPING today! That's a good thing. The pizza was good - exactly what I expected. Our friends who hadn't been before also enjoyed the pizza. One, who isn't a fan of sauce, liked the sauce. Score! It was good and quick. My goodness, it was crowded, but very well staffed. Of course it was quick... and delish! I wish it was a little closer to home, but hey... we have one in the Cincinnati area, so I guess I can't complain. There aren't too many of these places around. The Mason restaurant is clean and the outdoor seating is fantastic. read more

Hands down the best. This is the gem of fast food pizza. Thin crust, individual sized pizza. You can get WHATEVER you want on your pizza for $8. Awesome! They have loads of fresh topping choices, as well as a few different sauces (classic red, spicy red, garlic for sure) and cheese (mozzarella, parm, ricotta, and goat, for sure). After many, many visits, first in WI and now in Mason, OH, I have nailed down my favorite to: Spicy red sauce, mozzarella cheese, dollops of ricotta, sausage, banana peppers, zucchini, and roasted garlic. I can breath on anyone until I find a toothbrush, but it is worth it!! Also, the blood orange lemonade is a must try! read more

The pizza was ordered through th Blaze app- this is not the first order we've placed through the app, we've ordered pizzas before that were picked up. Once we got the pizza, my husband noticed that the Print-out order was incorrect, it was missing items. When we opened the pizza we saw that some items were missing and were substituted for other items. When I came up to the personnel and showed them the pizza they said that the order didn't go through the app correctly and was clearly wrong. Also they said that they just make what come on the Print-out and felt like they deliver the correct order. I can argue that the order wasn't even done correctly from the Print-out as for one of the items it said- roasted- and they placed roasted red pepper on the pizza while we ordered roasted garlic. To remedy the situation they gave us raw pepperoni and banana peppers which were part of the correct order. I'm not happy with this experience, I understand that technology might not work but the service wasn't good. I am a frequent customer of Dewey's pizza and they service is impeccable, as the customer comes first and they would always try to make it right. The personnel saw the order that was placed on my app and didn't offer to redo the pizza and even while giving the raw ingredients to throw them on the pizza and cook them. This is just disappointing. The large pizza is only available through app order and these mess ups are unacceptable. Finally, the personnel told me to write the review- and here it is. read more

I stopped in Blaze for lunch after church services on Sunday. They were slammed. I actually went shopping and came back in fifteen minutes and they have most everyone in the store served and or fed. We strolled right up to the counter and I didn't notice any side effects of the rush that had just hit them. We had a picky seven year old with us and I had never been there before. They were so patient with us and very accommodating. I certainly felt as if we were the first costumers of the day. I looked over all the toppings and couldn't decide what I wanted on it, and neither could the seven year old. I asked for the line cook to hook me up with his own favorite combo. It didn't disappoint me at all. I was actually surprised by it a bit. I was surprised by the great flavor and crust as well as the speed of the delivery to the counter. read more

Fast food style thin crust pizza pizza restaurant with reasonable prices It's similar to pizzeria locals and cucinova - you pick your pizza either a premade or create your own. I didn't do the create your own but it looked like there was a two topping max? Not sure but if that's the case is must fewer than its competitors. I got the barbecue chicken which was shockingly good. The best thing about the pizza hands down is the crust - it has a chewy yet crispy consistency and you can eat every slice without the dreaded pizza flop thy drops all your toppings. The chicken on my pizza didn't turn out great kind of had a boiled chicken consistency - maybe that's why there is no chicken option at cucinova the cook time on chicken may take too long to keep the other toppings from getting burned, who knows. Regardless solid pizza joint but not significantly better than the other two read more
