Food: if you're a fan of thin crust, New York style pizza, this is a great place! Our waitress was at the table very quick and asked if we wanted drinks, took our drink order and gave us a few minutes to check out the menu this being our first time. She came back pretty quickly, but enough time for us to go through the menu. We ordered a large salad and split it between the two of us. Quite good and plenty for two people to share. I ordered a small "Cosentino" pizza which is their old world red sauce, mozzarella, fire roasted red peppers, Italian sausage, and garlic. i would've preferred the crust be done a bit longer. Afterward, the waitress informed me I can ask for it "well done". Will definitely do that next time. Other than that, VERY tasty pizza. Great sauce, fresh cheese, good amount of sausage. Yeh, definite winer. My wife ordered the Margherita pizza. Old world red sauce, fresh mozzarella, seasoned tomatoes, extra virgin olive oil, and fresh basil. She could only eat half but brought the other half home. She really liked it. So, if you're on the west side and have not been here before...WHY NOT!?! If you are a fan of thin crust pizza, this is a great place for that. If not, well, perhaps try a sub or hoagy, they looked really good! We live more northwest of Strong's, but it was well worth the drive there and back! We had originally tried a different place, but there was no mention of it being take out only. S, we looked at another place...turns out it is a food truck and is NOT at the address listed. SO, my wife types in Pizza near us, which is now NOT really near our home. Last four times I have ordered there has been an issue. First time back since January and an issue. First time calzone no ingredients. 2nd time was a replacement of first, same issue. Opened before ii left and had to wait to remake. Today I ordered at 2:38, get my confirmation to pick up 2:58. Here at 2:55 and it's not made, said I guess ticket was not printed. Good pizza is hard to find in the area sometimes, and the trifecta of all these things is a slam dunk. Horrible. on 3-19 I arrived at the Bridgetown location around 430for pick up, They said pizza was ready but the steak hoggie needed to be made, As I stood there for almost 25 minutes I watched a team member put empty pizza boxes on her head with cardboard containers used for sodas. They fell on the floor, she put them back on her head took photos and other team members watched and laughed She put the boxes and containers back in the clean stacks. That is disgusting. When I finally received my food I told the girl that I had recorded her team member and she saidthat stuff is not used for customers in a rude tone. i also said I plan to post these videos on line I had to wait an extra 25 minutes and watch this team member put these boxes in her hair and drop them on the floor to be reused So after thinking about this I felt it needed to be reported. Since I did not feel confortable calling bridgetown I call another location, Well when I asked to speak to a manger that team member gave me a hard time and said I needed to call Bridgetown, wow The funny thing is when I arrived i paid the bill right away and gave a 5 dollar tip, What a waste that was i am sure they have video cameras so they can verify, not sure if I'm going to post my videos on social media. read more

They just opened a week ago and decided to try it out. It was crowded but we were seated right away. One thing is that they do not have unsweetened ice tea which is a money maker for a business but they only have coke products and alcohol reason for the one less star. The inside is open, wood walls and reflect sound so it was a bit loud. They make oven fired pizza which cooks very quick so they don't have the delay like an oven pizza. They have plenty of staff so service was good. We ordered an Italian hero and a make your own pizza. Wife doesn't like the pizza with the gourmet items. The sandwich had a good taste but I felt the bread could have been harder. The bread was soft and squishy and for little toppings it was more bread. The pizza was good. We should have gotten the small. The sauce was the old world which was a tomato base with chunks of tomato. The crust taste like what I make when I use my small wood pizza oven so I liked it Overall we would come back again to try something new. read more

I'm going to make a statement; Strong's Brick Oven Pizzeria makes great pizzas, period. I went there with some friends and just a fabulous experience. The service was awesome, timely, and friendly. We were debating about what kind of pizza and the server recommended a half/half; we took the excellent suggestion and ordered half meat and half veggie. I was looking at the oven; supposedly imported from Europe. Fire oven that rotates the pizza. The ambiance was kinda plain, so that was the only thing that doesn't quite fit with the great food. I hope they spice up the decor a bit. Nevertheless, great food and great experience. Had the leftover slice on the flight back from Ohio. Will definitely return to this pizzeria when I come back to the great state of Ohio! read more

We are thrilled to have a new, strong pizzeria closer to us on the west side of Cincinnati. We've been visiting the one in Lawrenceburg, and it's outstanding. This new locations. in the former Kenning Circle K restaurant, delivers on their outstanding reputation. They just opened about a month ago and it's been packed pretty consistently. There's a reason for that the service the food the atmosphere is terrific. My husband and I went on Valentine's Day to take advantage of their special Valentines pizza promotion and sat at the bar. I don't like the bar as much at this location because it's kind of cut off from the rest of the restaurant, but the service was terrific. Our pizza - a large with sausage, bacon, red onion, mushrooms, and minced garlic, was out of this world. They have a solid selection of beers with rotating taps to meet everyone's interest. I decided to try the Sauvignon Blanc by Murphy Goode and I'm not sure I was a fan so next time I'll probably stick to beer or do the Pinot Grigio next time. Can't wait to get back! read more

My son has been eating Strongs pizza for years at the Reading location. I'm not a frequent pizza eater, I love it due to health. I try to eat it sparingly. Tonight, I wanted pizza, and I remembered there was a Strongs on the Westside. I opened the menu and was overwhelmed with the pizza options, different sauces, and specialty and create your own. I opted for a create your own and wings with spicy BBQ sauce. Love the pizza, crust amazing, not thick and not thin, just right. The wing sauce was absolutely delicious. Like so much, so I might get some tomorrow. The only thing is the wings were tiny. Probably not full of steroids, which is good for us, I guess. The online order was easy. The order was ready just as I was pulling into the lot. And I like that they send a message letting you know your order is ready. Very pleased! read more

The Crust on the pizza is second to none in this area. Now dont come in here expecting some premade poppa johns crust or some bar pizza. This is not it. This is real pizza. If you want some garlic butter pizza stuffed with preservatives head on down the road. There are plenty of those on the Westside. Now if you want real delicious Old Italian style pizza. You have stepped into the right place. I was born in New York. My parents ran restaurants through the 90's and I know real pizza. This is it. Most people haven't traveled outside the Tri-State and indulged in real Italian pizza. But if you have or if you have been to Italy you will scream with delight with every bite of a Strong's Pizza. They restored an older restaurant. It is beautiful when you step inside. The oven is the show case. You get to watch the pies being made right there. With nothing to hide. Bathrooms are spacious. I love sitting at the bar to have a few beers when getting my carry out. Incredible bar and bartenders. Don't forget all the other options they have. A salad with two huge house made meatballs?! My wife loves this salad. Polpetta Insalata with balsamic dressing. Now let's touch on dessert. Cannolis are killer, but I'm here to tell you about this Heavenly White pie with caramel drizzle. This guy is sweet and savory on their pizza crust. Outstanding. Trust me. Get one, Take one home, or put the left overs in the fridge to eat later. It is so good. All in all the Tri-state and the Westside should get off their high horse with these weird criticized reviews rippin their food and workers to pieces. I'd love to say the food was delicious. I would not know though. We were seated and ordered drinks. A young gal took our order (my husband and myself). I ordered a small pizza and my husband an Italian hero. I would have thought that his would have been done first. They brought my pizza and said his Hero would be out in minutes. The waitress stopped by twice, "it'll only be a few minutes". After waiting approximately 20 minutes for a Italian Hero, while my pizza got cold. (Where I come from you eat your meal together.) With no Italian Hero in sight we finally gave it up for the ghost. My husband offered to pay for our beverages but the gal just said no just go. Food was great service was great unfortunately over the past couple months the product they are putting out have decreased considerably. One week the pizza will be made properly and be delicious the next it will have hardly anything on it cooked terrible not even cut properly. I'll start off by saying that the food was pretty good, and we'll probably be back. The front of house staff needs some serious work. Everyone in the kitchen is working their butt off to get food out. Then there's 3 women at the hostess stand doing nothing. You don't need 3 people to greet people and tell them how long a wait it is. There are 3 waiters and waitresses that stand there looking at dirty tables like it's not their job. We stood there for a half an hour, and watched over half the restaurant finish their meals and leave. No one cleaned off the tables. Then one of the hostesses decided to clean off a table and spilled something everywhere. This resulted in 4 people having to come over with spray bottles and towels, and one girl that apparently doesn't know how a mop works. So after that fiasco got cleaned up, they called our name. We were seated at a table that had been cleared off and sitting empty the entire time we were waiting. Nothing pisses me off more than wasted time, especially when it's due to ineptitude. If we weren't already really hungry, I'd have walked right out. read more

I've eaten at the Lawrenceburg location several times and always enjoyed it very much. This location was awful. The place was half full at best and after being tired of waiting for our server to get our drink order, decided to go to the bar only to be told by the bartender they were too busy and couldn't be bothered. The layout is stupid with all the booths and tables crammed to one side of the dining room on top of each other with a giant void of space for some unknown reason. The diavolo dolce was one of my favorite pizzas anywhere but whatever this version was terrible. If you're a high end pizza joint, you can't use bacon bits out of a bag. And sometimes less is more. The amount of sauce and pineapple combined with undercooked dough was a soggy disaster. French fries are pretty tough to screw up. But under cooking them is a sure fire way to do so. Having to ask multiple times for multiple items from your server is annoying. Having to ask the hostess that was seating another table when you can see your server on their phone is even more so. I'll go back and give it another try, only because it surely can't be any worse than today. read more
